I knew it! The entire book makes more sense now... You're awesome. This makes having to read the book in college after avoiding it for sooooo long, more tolerable... I imagine if Melville was alive today, he'd write like that since he'd be more comfortable with his latent homosexuality. Hehe. Although, no paragraph long sentences... Good job!
