"Standing he pulled up his pants. Turning his back on Meggie Dustfinger left closing the door behind him.
Meggie was alone once more." Your last lines really got to me, and I think it's the perfect way to end a fic like this, so kudos on that. I can almost picture her lying alone in that big bed, still staring at the door and being utterly confused about what just took place.
