Amazing! Loved your version of Edward's change. Please update soon, I can't wait for what will happen next!
And I have to say, I'm impressed with Esme. She's younger than Edward, but she seems to be coping so much better... ;)

Have I told you before how much I love your writing? ;)

Let me guess, she's bringing Emmett, isn't she? Can't wait for the next chapter! You are brilliant!

I love how you're showing us Rosalie's early conflicts, which are so much reflected in her later years. Rosalie is a character that is harder to understand, always seeming slightly outside the tight circle of the Cullens. The interaction between Rosalie and Edward is flawless. Lovely.

I love this exploration of Edward's early years. AND the start of his sometimes tempestuous relationship with Rose!

Your story allows me to see all the characters you write about with different eyes. I would have never expected to understand Rosalie in a certain way, yet you make it so easy and wonderful through your writing. You just manage to keep all characters so well in place… it’s like your chapters are the missing chapters from the books. :)

OMG! I so can see this being exactly how Edward was in the beginning. I can't wait for more. Thanx for this fanfic its given me a whole other idea on the Characters that I didn't get from the books or movie.

I feel so stupid and uncreative since I’ve said all this before, but it’s not my fault that you’re sch a brilliant writer. O_o
That’s why I can only it again: your way of writing is magnificent. Whatever you put down, you just seem to find the perfect words for it so easily that it leaves me jealous and yet extremely stunned because it’s incredible to read it.
As if that weren’t already enough, you also manage to stay so well in Edward’s character that it’s a wonder. There hasn’t been a single second or line so far that didn’t convince me that it actually must be the “real” Edward telling his story. Even the portrayal of Esme and Carlisle is so heart-warming that it once again leaves me in frustrated jealousy of your amazing talent. ;)

I've been trying to read all of your stories. You're a talented writer who weaves a tale that takes the reader firmly into your world. Thanks for sharing the gift of your work.

Once again, a wonderful chapter. There are so few Edward’s POV out there which make it seem as if it’s actually Edward, but whenever I read one of your chapters from his POV, it seems so real that it’s almost scary. ;) I absolutely love how you manage to describe their “family” situation so well, Edward’s pain at having hurt Esme and Carlisle. It’s simply beautiful in a sad way.
Plus, the moment when Rosalie was first introduced was like a missing scene from the book when Rose told her past. Brilliant!

I know what you mean… personally, I prefer stories that do have some smut within. However, I’m afraid you could be writing about dancing chewing gum and I’d still be in awe of your wonderful choice of words and your talent to put yourself so perfectly into the characters’ position. Your story is just amazing, and it absolutely doesn’t matter to me that it lacks the sex. ;)

Yet again, you've written a brilliant chapter. Thank you, btw, for mentioning me in your A/N and for reading my story. I'm flattered that you liked it!

I'm sorry to say, though, that there seems to be a small misshap in this chapter. Carlisle's eyes can't be blue, can they?
I trust you'll fix that, and I sincerely hope you won't mind me pointing it out!

Keep on writing, please, and update soon. Can't wait for the first time Edward and Rosalie meet when they're both vampires! :)
I realize this review is vain next to my last one, but it would be boring if I were to repeat myself, wouldn't it? ;)

Whenever I read your chapters, I catch myself holding my breath at times. You have such a wonderful language… almost every word comes alive while reading it, creating an incredibly sparkling world around your story. Especially chapter 9 described the loss so well that I had to remain in my chair for a long time after finishing it to think about it. It was truly touching in a way that lacks a proper description.

Oh my god, you've done it and posted yet another fantastically brilliant story. Please let me tell you that, although I'm not a frequent reviewer, I have been one of your (maybe THE?) most faithful readers. When I first stumbled across "Prelude", I wasn't sure I'd like it. But I kept reading, and you did what I previously thought impossible: you convinced me that there was a way to fill the gaps left open by S.M. other than what I had conjured up in my own mind. I won't deny that I was completely hooked after the first couple of chapters, by your wonderful originality (which, sadly, is not often found in such brilliant capacity) and your amazing style of writing. You portray all the characters so REAL, it's amazing and wonderful and I've yet to read something like it. Please don't take offense when I say that an my opinion, many professional authors are unable to convey the differences in their characters merely by the way they let them "talk"!

Your wonderfully erotic interpretation of the night before the wedding was one of the hottest things I've ever read. It literally made my mind's eye spin trying to come up with the pictures that would fit your words. What is more, I've never even considered depicting sexual episodes before the wedding night. Thank you for making Bella and Edward's relationship so absolutely true and real - you're right, it's very unlikely for any couple to remain completely chaste and stay away from each other until they're married. I don't know if you are going to continue either story, but please know you'll have one avid reader for sure should you decide to do so!

"Penance" was an incredible piece of fiction as well, and, again, something I myself had never considered. Same goes for this story. Yes, we all know that Edward had that rebellious teenaged phase because he tells Bella about it in "Twilight" - but I, for one, have never bothered to fill this confession with as much life and tragedy as you have. I don't know how you do it, but I definitely envy your creativity and I absolutely adore your writing! Not being a native to the English language myself, I'm stuck with the problem of being unable to write in my native tongue fiction whose basics I've only ever read in English, and the dissatisfaction of not being able to fully use English rhetorics either. So, naturally, I won't expect you to read what I've published here so far because it can only be inadequate next to your incredible work. Should you feel like reading my stuff, however, I would be honored beyond belief!

This is probably my longest review ever, but nobody could be more deserving of it than you. Please keep up the amazing work, I'm really looking forward to every update and every new story you might post!

Again I am amazed by the depth of feeling your writing has provoked. I had to break out the tissues. I don't review as often as I would like, due to time constraints as well as a basic lack of talent when it comes to critiquing (sp?), but I do know what I like to read, and your stories are thoroughly enjoyed. (yes, I've read your other as well) I look forward to more! =)
