This was a captivating story for me. I started a couple days ago, and I just couldn't rest until I knew how it ended. This was a wonderful take on the Dragonlance books, and I thank you for writing this saga.

    Wow.

    Just wow.

I have now devoured the Blue Star, Dark Uncle, Blessed Interlude, and of course Summer of Flame, and am really really impressed. The work, the time, the effort you put into weaving this alternate series of events with cannon must have been phenomenal. And to end it so boldly, I did NOT expect that.

I think, that like me, you found something profoundly appealing about Raistlin and his journey. I always felt cheated in the books because it seemed like they were determined that he should learn his lesson right from the start instead of giving him the tools and the time to make an actual attempt at redemption like you did. Looking back with an eye for constructive criticism, there were times that Raistlin did feel a little out of character - or perhaps more truthfully like an alternate Raistlin that we never would have gotten the chance to meet unless you had introduced him. And yay for the naughty scenes with a certain cleric, even though it came on so suddenly it caused me to squeek like a 13 year old.

And the little touches and inversions you added here and there just have an English geek like me in geeky heaven! Certain characters dying instantly and other characters living to the end! Tika literally riding to the rescue - she is a great character and it is sooooooooooo glad to see her out of the kitchen! I could see it all in my mind which is the highest compliment I can give. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful imagination with us.
