First time reviewer, just wanted to say that I really enjoy you stories and since they are the second Rasitlin/Dalamar stories I have ever read I must say that I'm really glad I ended up reading yours rather than the horrible fanfics out there, it really gives me some interest in pursuing the pairing. Now I have a quick question. I have to ask you what the point of Raistlin and Amberyl sleeping together if Dalamar was always going to kill her. Why put him and Rasitlin and himself through the experience? Wouldn't it have been easier to just kill her off when Raistlin and him first understood what the Valin was? Was it because they would die unless the copulated?

Dayum. Now that was one hell of a take on that story. I liked it.

I love this. You write both characters very well. (The Marilyn Manson lyrics made it extra special.)

I don't know how to begin reviewing that, except that it is, perfect. It's romantic and it's exactly how a Dark mage would express, romantic love. And it's exactly the reaction I would expect, based on Dalamar's past; this was rape, frankly, or prostitution or a bit of both (meaning what was done to Raistlin) and it is the flip side of Raistlin's inability to watch the weak or despised be taken advantage of. Dalamar cannot watch his beloved be subject to forced sex because he requires the payment too much to say no.

Closure of a darker sort than the dream; no one avenged me, but I can make sure that isn't true for my beloved.

It makes me love Dalamar more, if this is possible. They're both lucky I'm not there, a flitting ghost, because I'd "aww!" and fag and oosh and pinch at them for their horrible Dark cuteness.

I don't think this is why D wears the black robes; I think rather, this is an illustration of why he chose that allegiance to begin with. I'm a Dark sort of creature myself, religiously, and the Dragonlance books always had an excellent handle on what that ought to mean. White creates; Dark destroys, but both are necessary to keep the wheel turning. Interesting that it was the wide-eyed innocent white-light type of creature responsible for the rape in this case (though she was something of a victim herself, i suppose, it has to stop somewhere if it's to stop at all)

that's enough ramble. thank you for this. I'm about to catch up to myself and then I'll be one of the pleading multitude waiting for you to keep up with the fantastically huge task you've set for yourself.

extra points for using The Man that you Fear. (which may or may not have been in this story; I'm next-chaptering pretty quickly here)

The closest thing I've ever done to fanfic is a novel that encompasses the story I saw for that video (with the video being chapters very close to the end)
