I loved this story very much. You made me feel a type of loss I've never experienced and I shed more than a few tears. This was beautiful in every sense of the word and be assured that you are one of the best writers I've ever read in fan fiction or even in literature. I know my praise sounds false and overly flattering be assured that I meant every word.

Awe, that was a really sad, but beautiful one-shot, I liked it! Well written and well portrayed, and smut was very nicely described, of course! Poor Edmund and Peter too!

Exceptional. I usually shy away from male/male fanfics of older fantasies (especially Narnia and LotR) because it either a) feels out of place in the universe, b) lacks logical or believable pairings, or c) totally demolishes the characters' personality. You've beautifully dodged pitfall C by preserving Peter's protectiveness and Edmund's honesty. B is particularly difficult with Narnia, as incest is almost unavoidable and the list of characters to pair is remarkably short. That said, I think you settled for the only decent M/M with potential: Peter/Edmund. As for A, I think this may be more of a personal problem, but correct me if I'm wrong. It feels out of place for me because of the blatantly religious nature of the Chronicles of Narnia. Even in a story in which it doesn't come up much (and indeed, the story you've written makes it much less awkward), I can't shake that feeling entirely.

In any case, I'm giving this one a 9/10 for high quality prose, faithful characters, and purity of emotion. The -1 isn't really even your fault, either; again, there's something about it that feels strange.

Oh, and if you're still looking for a song that fits this, I think you should look up Anywhere by Evanescence. It's a wonderful ballad.

Oh, I don't know what to say... That was amazing, you made me cry at a fanfiction for the first time in a while now :D

I really don't know what to say, that was just touching, and incredibly sad. Thank you for writing this, I loved it. It also somewhat helped my want for Peter/Edmund slash after seeing Prince Caspian. I thought there would be more fics about them after the first part of the movie where Ed helped Peter in the fight.

Anyway, once more, I LOVED THIS!

Beautiful! I have never read a story with Edmund and Peter before, but I think you have captured their characters very well. Edmund's stubborn petulance and Peter's noble (if sanctimonious) sacrifices. I enjoyed the story very much. Please write more!

    You made me cry.

The tears are falling, but I'm not angry. I've stayed up till later than I should have, getting introduced to this pairing - Peter/Edmund. Now that I have a feel for it, it was only natural to read an emotional one like this.

I am proud that you have made me cry - congrats. I appreciate it when writing can get that emotion from me. This is an amazing tribute to the day you wrote this (sorry, I can't remember the official name - Soldier's Day?) and an amazing love you have between these two. Amazing. Just fabulous. I can really feel how much they loved each other.

Fabulous fanfic! You are a great writer. I really loved this.

The end made me cry. That was incredibly beautiful and heartbreaking. Their love being denied by everyone... Very powerful.

I listened to four songs while reading this:
Don't Fear The Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult
    Forget It - Breaking Benjamin
I Hate Everything About You - Three Days Grace
I Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore - REO Speedwagon

Maybe it was because the songs played basically in the order of events, but I felt that they fit with the story pretty damn well. Gosh, this is just so lovely! Definitely saving it.

This is one of most emotionel strory's I have red in a long time. I could really feel Edmund's emotion's. When Ed finds out Peter got killed, I coudnt help myself and startd crying becouse he had lost the love of his life. The second time i read it, it stil made me cry evendo I knew Peter was going to die. In other words i really loved the story. In the Netherlands we allso have a soort of War Memorial Day, only its called "Bevrijdingsdag" and its held on the 5e of may when Holland got freed from the German's.
    Keep wrighting great storys ^^
