Wow! This is a fantastically bloody rout! I really felt sorry for Dashran et al marching into the snow so unawares. You've portrayed the White Witch's cruelty with superb skill, and I thank you for using her, yet another character I love to hate. Well-played with the yellow snow, despoiling the purety of the white snow, and Dashran all in one fell swoop. Somehow, and I'm not sure why my mind wandered her, but I'm thinking that the Witch's minions never heard,"please don't eat the yellow snow," and fouler celebrations were about to ensue. Witches must all be evil, eh? As always, thanks for sharing, PW

A lot of stuff sure shows up on fresh snow, eh? ;)

The set up was clear and concise in its detail without wasting any words. It also gave me the sense of exactly how organized and disciplined his army was. The exquisitely grotesque battle and death scene was riveting, and the idea that the Queen and her monsters couldn't care one bit about even the animals sends a pretty strong, well brutal message all on its own. The totally self-satisfying indignities heaped on Dashran were significant in that it was all about hurting him only, for its own sake. The Snow Queen didn't do it so she could send him back home as a warning against another invasion. It's all badass. :)

Wow, what a bitch. That's all I have to say. What. A. Bitch.

I have to say, I started treading this story with utmost caution, once I saw the Death tag; but once again, it wasn't all that bad! I actually enjoyed it! I must say, the last part was actually funny, I could vividly imagine the Prince's utter shock at being used as a toilet. It got me a good chuckle. Anyway, I enjoyed it, in spite of the dying deathity death thing. Which was also pretty cool, come to think of it. And is it really death if Aslan Jesus sneezes on you and presto, back to life?

Anyhow, excellent job. I'll be bolder when reading your stories next time. :D
