this was so nice, can we have more alberich/myste stories?

This is well thought out and well written. I tend to find really sophomoric knock-offs of Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar; I'm glad to say that this was an exception. I only have one small criticism (which is a miracle). I was under the impression that a large part of the reason that Alberich and Myste communicated so well was because she was the only other Herald that spoke fluent Karsite. I thought that the two of them spoke almost entierly in Karstie, unless they had some reason not to. I could be wrong, if I am I'm sorry for bugging you.

*huggles* You managed to get Alberich's temper down to pat... and Myste's as well. Good job on that. I've only just read Exile's Honor, and already, I'm hooked to those two. *giggles* Thank you for such a wonderful fic, it's something that's sated me on my curiosity on what could have happened to Alberich and Myste. *huggles both heralds* Gee, don't you all just love them? lol

One thing to look out for is Alberich's way of speech - now that's a tough one to tackle. You've done quite well on trying to place those words correctly, but there were still some that could be even better. I'm not sure if his manner of speech improved in Exile's Valor though, so don't mind me eh! Once again, a job well done! *cheers*

Okay, but enough about that. Try putting spaces between your paragraphs, its a bit hard to read, but otherwise, nice story!

Well darn! That was excellent. Myste is one of my favorite of Lackey's characters after Alberich and Vanyel and I definitely was picturing these two together by the end of the book. It's been so long since I've read any of Lackey's earlier works that I can't even remember if Myste is mentioned in them, in conjunction w/Alberich or otherwise. Very nice.
