Wow.. someone enjoyed the Scarlet Letter? Enjoyed it enough to write fanfiction for it?.. If you were in my English class when we read it.. you would have been stoned..
Sigh. Congratulations, nice writing. Enjoy your life.

Could use a quick polish. Little excess words or words used incorrectly have been jumping out at me. It is an interesting idea, though.

There were a few garbled sentences at the beginning but it has a fairly clean ending. I liked it, but I do think it would have been more evenly matched rather than just Hester being sole the antagonist. A quick polish and it'll be lovely.

This was excellent. I loved Scarlet Letter when I read it in both high school, and again in college, so this story definitely made great use of those characters and captured the tragedy of their affair and how clandestine it had to be during those times. The marks of his self-punishment caught my attention, since I always thought he had only made those marks on himself after he slept with her.
This is still great. Very compelling and well-written.

I like the first two chapters and the beginning of the third, but the book led me to believe that Dimmesdale was equally confident in his actions when they did their actions (cough cough). Hester is aggressive in this way beyond the will of dimmesdale, so it made the story feel a bit off to me. But other than that, it was great.

i too had to read The Scarlett Letter for english class. it is really stuffy and boring to read. but really, the plot is quite juicy. it's so awsome that you picked up on this and decided to write fanfiction about such an old book. Great Job!

Wow, this is really good so far. You write in the original style very nicely, and Dimmesdale's thoughts are very Puritan, and yet very human also. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. :)
