Hello!

Our names are Amber and Kaye and we are Canadian literacy, sexuality, and education researchers. We are currently working on a feminist project analyzing fanfiction and we really appreciated this piece, so thank you very much for writing and sharing it.

We are just reaching out because we wanted to let you know about our project. We are interested in writing about this story, quoting interesting passages, and publishing in an academic journal as well as presenting at an academic conference. Thank you for reading our note and for producing such an interesting response to the Nancy Drew stories!

All our very best,

FUCKING PRICELESS!!!

I laughed SO HARD! As I got older, I started to suspect that the plots really ran more something like this, but I never could quite put it into so many words.

Lovely job. You, sir-or-madame, are an arrrrrtiste.

I found this story absolutely charming. I read a lot of Nancy Drew as a kid and always thought Bess and George should get together. I really appreciate the humor in this story, and especially Nancy's obliviousness and hyper focus on the mystery at hand. I thought the incorporation of (stereo)typical lesbian culture was really funny, and I actually LOLed at one point. What a fun and funny read. I only wish there were more!

Oh man, HILARIOUS. Nancy was so amazingly oblivious, and Bess and George were hilarious.

Wow! I'd read this without looking at the name -- I should have known your style by now, having enjoyed all of your Holmes stories as well as most of your K/S slash! You know how to a weave a tale and your comic timing is excellent! Mazel Tov!

wow.
that was utterly, utterly hilarious. you have captured the very essence of nancy drew novels, right down to the cheesy dialogue and shameless fashion plugs. kudos to you!

lol!! very amusing.... it doesn't seem like Nancy is as a good dectivce like she thinks she is.

but then again, I always found her to be a little bit more innocent.. naive. lol

you captured the characters' personality very well. :)

As someone who grew up reading the Nancy Drew series and went as far as to make plans on how to become a detective, you do realize that you've scarred me for life, right? ;)

Seriously though, this was wonderful. I nearly died laughing reading this. Loved Butch!George to pieces, and the Scooby Doo reference at the end really put it over the top :)
