Melisande and Phedre are of course the ultimate D/s pair as far as I'm concerned, and I think you capture them both very well in this. You've definitely done well to capture Phedre's voice. I want to read more of this! :D

I am a steadfost lover of the Kushiels Dart trilogy, and these short stories are very much in the spirit of those books, I profoundly enjoyed them and hope for another chapter soon.

finnaly someone wrote a fanfiction based on these books, iv been waiting. Your story was good and i hope you continue. but allow me to offer some advise, you used such beautifull language and references (heart beating like a dove, waking from dreams of angels, etc) that were compleatly in keeping with the true language of the book and i think if you allowed that certan style of luxurious grandious encompas all of the story it would be even more beautifull. As for the flechet scene, it was moving but short, allow your imagination to run wild with the millions of possibilities available between such perfectly matched characters and always describe in detail MORE than you think is neccesary. I hope you dont take offence at my advice, for i really did like you story and truly appreciate your bravery in writing it.
