I am really enjoying this story. Although it has been some time since I read the Susan Kay book, from what I recall, you have really channeled her Erik in this story. He has the same mix of black humor and bitterness as in the book. Also, I love how you have written the female characters. Keep it up.

Wow! I really like this story alot! It IS a bit confusing though- I was sure, in the beginning, who was talking. And is the slave girl deformed too? Yeah, I was a bit confused there. Well, I like it anyway, keep updating!! And make Erik and the slave girl do the dirty dirty!

This is an interesting story. The only problem I have is understanding who is talking at what point. The story jumps from one vewipoint to another. Could you please inidicate somehow in your next chapter who is speaking? I enjoy the plot so far.
