Oh, I loved it! I tend to prefer implied relations with these two; it's a pairing I adore, but smut just isn't their style, if that makes any sense. So I thoroughly enjoyed this little bit. I also get a kick out of mopey Holmes and matter-of-fact Watson, just because it's so in character. And what's Watson there for if not to perk an old chap up? :D Thanks much for sharing!

A great little ficlet - I think it captures the affection in the canon between Sherlock and John - it's just a shame I can't see either of them as gay - buggery yes homosexuality no does that make sense to anyone else ?

I enjoyed it. I also appreciated the small reference to a relationship. The ending was very good too.
