That was a great chapter. Poor Cesar. I can't believe that people would leave an animal in that condition. Or beat an animal like that. Grr. I'm glad that Erik and the stable girl were there. I look forward to more Erik/Stable Girl interaction. And Erik/Cesar interaction, because animals seem to bring out the compassionate, sweet side of Erik. Update soon.

This is absolutely wonderful. I love the idea of Erik writing memoirs, it's a unique and original concept. This chapter was beautifully written and quite vivid. I truly felt for Cesar's plight, as well as that of Erik and the stablegirl. This story is one of the highest quality phanphic pieces I have had the pleasure of reading, it reads very much like any published work would. Great work, I look forward to your next update. :)
