This story is amazing, both beautifully written and a truly unique concept. I especially like this chapter because you make Raoul unlikeable, but you do it in a realistic way. Excellent work, and I can't wait to read more.

Chiming in on this wonderful story... I can honestly say I haven't seen this exact take on the "Christine regrets her decision" tale before, and frankly, I am surprised someone hasn't thought of it sooner. The story is extremely well written, and Christine's reaction to her 'haunting' seems, to me at least, to have a charming touch of old Ebenezer's grumbling disinterest. Yet she is very much in character with her conflicting emotions. And Madame Giry as 'the ghost of phantom present' is absolutely perfect. I cannot wait for the next installment...this is the perfect mix of Phantom with a little holiday flavor.
