I love what you've done with this retelling. Its very believeable and the characters are just what I expected them to be. I always thought that if the wolf was going to eat her he would have just done it when they first met, so the part about him waiting puzzled me a bit. I hope you'll update soon, this is really good!

Whew! I've been checking and checking for an update! Thank you and I hope to read another chapter soon.
I must say that I didn't see that coming -- the woodsman is the bad guy. So does this mean he lied about the Beast or is the Beast bad too? I can't wait to find out. ^_^
