I LOVED this story!
Very rarely do I find a Watson-centric fic where the h/c is very serious indeed and the author does not rush through the recovery process. THANK YOU for having the courage to write honestly about recovering from seriou illness/injury. Here, it's ugly, painful, and yet step, by beautiful step, the love these two have for each other unfolds like a flower. Sigh...it doesn't get better than that!

A wonderful story. Very believable tone and felt appropriate for the time period. The slow buildup and tension, Holmes' overprotectiveness. I liked the exploration of their new trust issues - Watson realising he still trusts Holmes, and Holmes' vulnerability and self-doubt. And of course, it's totally romantic so I loved it.

A friend recommended this story as a good, sweet read since I was in a down mood, and I'm so glad she did. I love the style of prose and it was their relationship was so sweet and hesitant and just lovely. I look forward to reading more of your stories!

You're going to be sick of my reviews before long xD
I sat and read all the way through this, hardly moving. It's just brilliant. It turned sexy at just the right moments - it's beautifully done, really careful. You've got a deft hand for structure, as well as little details. I really, really enjoyed writing this - I'd give anything for the ease you seem to write with. None of it's forced. It's just wonderful.

You did an absolutely wonderful job with this. Beautiful H/C and for all Watson's injuries, the pace never lagged. A very engaging, well written story for which I thank you.

An excellent chapter!! I like how Watson forgave Holmes and how he wanted Holmes to forgive himself.
