Wow...That was amazingly in-character and very moving, to boot! Good knowledge of anatomy--did prostitutes really clean themselves with brandy?
I always liked Javert, and it saddened me how he came to an end. This fanfiction did an excellent job of portraying a younger Javert who was still already jaded by the harsh realities of police work.
