PLEASE UPDATE. I couldn't fuckin' believe it when I read this fic and its prequel. You make this pairing actually...plausible! Even...dare I say it...SEXY. Goddamn, all these years I hath despaired for want of a slashable pairing in Artemis Fowl, never finding solace in Artemis/Butler or even Artemis/Foaly. THEN. THEN, dear writer, came Rational Intercourse and I was forced to eat my words and never have they tasted so scrumptious. WELL DONE, I SAY.

Let me start off by saying that when engrossed in reading something, I have a habit of reading aloud. That said, I was reading every single word of this aloud and enjoying it all very, very much. And then read it again as I searched for words to express my love. :) I still haven't fully gathered my wits, but I just have to ask: May I look forward to another installment? Pretty, pretty please?

I have a difficult time deciding what my favorite part was - Butler's dilemma, Artemis' little confession, etc. - however I'm thinking that the "maroon and magenta, mulberry and mauve" line is leading by a slight margin, although the "dawn’s fingers" portion was also very striking.

Oh hell, I might as well say that I love your colorful imagery and just about everything else. Absolutely bloody gorgeous work.
