A nice little collection of chapters! I like the way you've gone through and shown the events from Starblade's point of view: his helplessness with being unable to protect Darkwind, his relief that his son did survive the final encounter with the Enemy, and especially his jealousy of Dawnfire's fate. I can really see that jealously as being something he would feel, as well as his self-disgust with envying her that way out.
