Simply, it was wonderfully written. The characters were very true to their nature; you've captured Watson perfectly. And Holmes as well - the way he presents the evidence. I have to say that's a compelling thesis. I can imagine this one was hard to whittle down to the word limit for the challenge specs, but it is very well done.

Absolutely superb, and combines two minor passions of mine, so this was a double treat. It's always a delight when you submit to the prompts, since I know I can count on a well-written and well thought out piece.

Well, it's enough to convince me if the evidence is as you say (through Mr Holmes)! The dialogue tears along at a great rate, while Holmes and Watson feel 'right'. Great prompt story.
