"Purposeful OOC-ness?"
From the first line, I can tell you that my reaction--or the reaction of any DL fan with a brain--is going to be, "Who the hell is this character?"
If a fangirl likes a character enough to write aboum, wm, why would she change what he is? Why not then just make up your own stupid "whorish boytoy wizard" character who maybe has white hair or something, and write about them instead?
Out of character writing is the hallmark of *bad* writing. The disclaimer "purposeful OOC-ness" basically means, "I know it sucks. I meant for it to suck." WHy the hell would you write badly on purpose?
