Revealing the True Mates—Chapter 10

The family raced into the forest to find James. Edward’s gift allowed him to hear James’ thoughts at a greater distance. As they ran Edward relayed what was happening to James to his mates through their bond. Jacob in turn passed the information on to Paul, Leah and Seth. Paul and Leah also passed what they were hearing along to their mates, through their own mate bonds. So as they ran towards James they all knew what was happening to him.

James had gone a lot farther from the house than he usually did. But there had not been any trouble for a while. And there was a particularly feisty mountain lion. It had been an amazing chase and when the mountain lion was finally cornered, he had put up a good fight. James supposed that was part of the fun, it certainly made them taste better.

Not really paying attention on his way home, James was lost in his thoughts. He was very happy, and despite all the things that he had done and been made to do. His mates loved him. They were kind and gentle. He loved it when Emmett would come up behind him and wrap his arms around him. James loved the feeling of being held tight against Emmett’s massive chest. One of his favorite things to do was when they were watching movies; he would lie on the couch with his head in Jacob’s lap. Jacob would run his fingers through his hair. James had considered growing it out long again so that Jacob had more hair to play with. But, in the end he decided that he liked his new look. And James loved the shy smile that Edward always seems to have on his face when they hold hands. Thinking of Edward he remembered that he should be hurrying home, they were going to have another piano lesson tonight.

Had James been paying attention he would have heard them approaching. Or if he would have been paying attention he would have felt their intentions before they got there. Instead he was caught unaware as the three of them descended on him. And that was how he found himself in his current position. He was forced to kneel with Rosalie holding him on the right side and Victoria holding him on the left.

Bella loomed over him as he struggled to free himself. Bella smiled a sickening smile as she said, “Now, now James there is no need to make this any more difficult than necessary.” Pulling out a small vile of blue liquid she continued, “All you have to do is drink this. Then everything will be better.”

Eyeing the vile James asked, “What is it?”

Bella answered, “This is a potion, created by a Wicca witch that lived in San Francisco. It was quiet costly, so I hope you appreciate the trouble and expense we went to for you.” Looking at Rosalie she said, “It cost us everything including Rosalie’s shinny red car to get three doses.”

James questioned, “Three doses?”

Nodding Bella replied, “Yes one for you and each of your mates. We were surprised when we found out that Jacob was also one of your mates. But, it was decided that he would be worth adding. So, we went back to get a fourth dose for him. Unfortunately, we were out of money. The witch had to be killed so that we could take the last dose. But I am sure that it will be worth it.”

James asked, “What will it do to me?”

Bella answered, “It will give control of your mind over to us.”

James whispered, “Like Laurent.”

Shaking her head Bella told him, “No, not like Laurent, he could only control your body. This will give us the ability to control your mind. Where he could only make you hard and force you to service us. This will make you willing to service us. It will make it your only purpose in life. Not only will it make your dick hard it will make you cum.”

James growled, “I will not drink it!”

Laughing Bella said, “YOU WILL! If we have to force it down your throat.” Running her hand along James’ face she continued, “Then once you are under the influence of the potion, you will give it to your mates.” Smiling she went on. “They are so kind and gentle with you. They love you and trust you; they will willingly take it from you.”

Seeing the look of confusion on James’ face she explained, “I am not like Edward; I cannot hear your thoughts. However, when I touch someone I can see and feel all of their memories.”

Determined James said, “Then you know that I will not betray them.”

Bella smiled saying, “Not willingly.”

James tried to reason with her saying, “Look you have me just leave them alone. They haven’t done anything to you.”

Rosalie growled, “No, they just spent the last seventy years pining away for each other instead of doing what they should have.”

James was shocked when he whispered, “You knew. You kept them apart on purpose, why would you do that to them?”

Rosalie grabbed his hair and forced his head back as she hissed, “I was created for Edward. I was to be his mate. But, he had no interest in me. Then Emmett was created to be my mate. Imagine my surprise when he opened his eyes and I knew Edward was his mate. Well, if I couldn’t have them they were not going to have each other. I intercepted Edward on his way home and told him that Emmett was my mate. I knew his honor forbid him interfering, thus keeping them apart. Now with this potion they will both be where they should have been all along.”

James questioned, “And where is that?”

With a vicious smile Rosalie answered, “Naked at my feet begging to the privilege of servicing me.”

James growled, “They would never do that!”

Sneering Rosalie answered, “Once you have given them the potion, it will be their goal in life.”

Victoria ran a hand along James’ face as she added, “Don’t worry James, and dog boy will be included. The four of you will live to pleasure us.” Then looking at Bella she said, “And dog boy had better be worth the additional trouble.”

Bella answered, “He will be, from what I see in his mind Jacob is more of a stud than even I thought.” Turning a twisted smile to James she said, “And now I don’t have to decide between Jacob and Edward, I can have them both. Of course I will have you and Emmett to play with as well.”

James hung his head thinking, ‘This is my fault, and if I don’t get out of here they are going to turn my mates into sex slaves.’

Bella stepped forward saying, “But, don’t worry James you will still get to be with your mates.”

James head snapped up at that.

Bella said, “We will enjoy watching them use you. They will fuck you and treat you like the whore you are for our amusement.”

James shook his head saying, “No, they aren’t like that. They don’t think of me that way.”

Bella leaned down and hissed, “They will when we are done with them.” Then laying her hand on James’ face she said, “Let me show you the other part of my gift.”

Just as Bella had drawn his memories out earlier by touching him, this time she forced a fake memory into his mind.

James shut his eyes as he whispered, “No.”

Now trapped within his mind James saw himself naked and bent over the bed he shared with his mates. Edward was behind him, only it was not his loving and gentle Edward. This Edward was violently ramming in and out of him. Grabbing his hair and pulling him back.

The dream Edward hissed in his ear, “Show them what a good whore you are. How much you love my cock fucking you like the slut you are.”

James sobbed tears that would never come as in his mind he was viciously raped, humiliated and degraded by one of the mates he loves.

With a roar of, “NO!” Edward burst through the trees knocking them away from James. Crouching in a protective stance in front of James, Edward growled at them.

Released from Rosalie and Victoria’s hold James curled in on himself as the vision changed. In his mind Jacob now held him down thrusting in and out of him. Gone was the gentle and tender lover that Jacob was. In his place was a raging animal cruelly raping him.

The dream Jacob growled, “Show them what a good cock whore you are.”

With a rush of wind the others arrived. Soon Bella was being held by Emmett and a naked Jacob. Rosalie was being restrained by Jasper and an equally naked Paul. While, Victoria struggled against the hold Felix had on her.

Alice, Leah and Seth emerged from the trees. Seth was buttoning a pair of jean shorts and Leah was adjusting a sun dress.

Jacob growled at Alice, “You thought to bring clothes for them but not us?”

Alice smirked and said, “I may have no interest in buying, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like to window shop.”

Leah looked up from where she and Seth were piling up wood and said, “She means that just because you are her brother’s mates. It doesn’t mean that she doesn’t want to see what you have to offer.”

Nodding Alice replied, “And it’s quite impressive too.”

Rosalie grumbled, “At least he is worth the trouble we went to.”

James moaned as the vision changed again. This time it was Emmett. In his mind he was on his back and Emmett was mercilessly pounding him into the mattress.

Edward glared at Bella and demanded, “Release him!”

Smirking Bella answered, “Just as soon as you drink what’s in that vial.”

Alice shouted, “Edward don’t!”

James whimpered and Edward tried to comfort him.

Lost in the vision in his mind James recoiled from Edward’s touch.

In rage Edward shouted, “RELEASE HIM!”

Bella calmly replied, “Go to hell.”

Not taking his eyes off James, Edward said, “Alice, take her head.”

Bella screamed as Alice jumped up and twisted her head off.

Once Bella’s head had been removed, the vision in James’ mind stopped. When he could finally open his eyes James saw Alice, Emmett and Jacob tearing Bella apart and Seth and Leah tossing the pieces into the fire.

Edward whispered, “James.”

James turned wide eyes to Edward. Edward went to reach for him and James flinched backward.

Edward softly said, “James, Love it wasn’t real. We would never do that. We would never say those things. None of us think those things about you. James you can read our intentions, concentrate on that.”

James concentrated on his power. He could feel only love and protection. His new family and his mates loved him and wanted to protect him. His mates raged with the desire to protect him, and he knew, they would tear down Voltaire itself to protect him. Only Bella, Rosalie and Victoria meant him harm. And Bella was gone.

James lurched forward and buried his face in Edward’s shirt. Edward wrapped his arms around his mate as James mumbled into his shirt, “It seemed so real.”

Edward held James as he sobbed.

Jacob and Emmett having finished with Bella came over and asked, “Is he alright?”

Running his fingers through James’ hair Edward answered, “He will be.”

Leaving Edward to take care of James, Emmett turned and stormed over to Rosalie.

Emmett growled, “You knew he was my mate!”

Rosalie scoffed, “Of course I did. My gift is to see mates.”

Shocked at the confession Emmett asked, “Then why?”

With a sneer Rosalie answered, “You were supposed to be mine, a real man to love and protect me! But instead you were an impotent fag pining for that arrogant prick.”

Jacob growled, “Edward is not arrogant, that would be you. And Emmett is not impotent; he is just too honorable to soil himself with a slut like you.”

Rosalie screamed as Jacob wrenched her head from her body. She was soon torn to pieces and joined Bella in the fire.

As they advanced on her, Victoria said, “Look it was all Bella’s idea. I didn’t do anything. Just let me go and I’ll never bother you again.”

Jasper shook his head saying, “You feel anger at your plan being foiled. There is hatred directed at all of us, and a desire for revenge. You intend to make us pay, and to have at least James back in your clutches. If not all four of them because you still have…”

Looking around Jasper spotted the four vials and gathered them all up.

Smiling at Victoria as he threw the vials into the fire Jasper said, “Those won’t help you anymore.”

Jacob said, “We can’t risk her coming back and hurting someone.”

Emmett stepped in front of her and said, “It is time for you to pay. For what you have already done to James and what you intended to do to all of us.”

Emmett tore her head from her body before she even had time to scream. The five of them quickly dismembered her and added her to the fire.

As the last piece of Victoria was added to the fire, Aro, Marcus and Alec stepped out of the woods followed by male Volturi guards.

Jacob and Emmett took defensive positions in front of James and Edward. Leah and Alice did the same with Seth.

Felix stood tall in the center of the clearing with Paul on one side and Jasper on the other.

Aro raised his hand saying, “We mean you no trouble.” Then looking at the still burning fire he said, “I see that you have dealt with the three that where drawing attention to our kind.” Then turning to Felix he sighed, “Our work here is almost done.”

Felix replied, “I cannot go back with you.”

With an uncharacteristic smile Aro said, “I know, and while I will miss you even I do not have the authority to interfere with a mate bond.”

Aro then gestured with his hand and the Volturi followed, except for Alec.

Alec stood still and whispered, “I cannot go with you either.”

Aro turned and looked at Alec whose eyes were locked with a young Werewolf. Aro muttered, “This town is going to be the death of me.”

Leah turned to Seth and asked, “Did you imprint?”

Unable to speak Seth nodded his head.

Aro watched as Alec made his way to the boy and asked, “What am I supposed to tell your sister? You know that she will not be pleased.”

Reaching Seth, Alec took his hand. Then with the other hand brushed the hair out of his face, Alec then answered, “Tell her that I have found my mate. And tell her that he is beautiful.”

Nodding Aro began walking again.

Emmett said, “I think you are going the wrong way.”

Jacob added, “That is the way to La Push.”

Continuing on with the Volturi following Aro replied, “Those three were not the only one to break our laws. I am here to deliver justice.”

It was a month after later and Jacob and Edward were in the grocery store stocking up the house. Today was the first day that they had left the house. As a matter of fact it was the first day that they had left James’ side.

James was recovering with the help of his mates, and Alec was settling into his new life and diet.

As they stepped out of the store Edward and Jacob spotted Sam walking down the street. Seeing the two of them Sam hung his head and turned around, heading the way he had come.

Edward chuckled and Jacob asked, “What is so funny?”

Edward answered, “Aro said he was here to dispense justice and it seems he did.”

Jacob questioned, “What was that about anyway?”

Edward replied, “Sam and the pack broke the law. They threatened to rape the mate of a vampire, or in your case the mate of three vampires. One of the punishments for that is death.”

Watching Sam walk away Jacob said, “He seems to be alive.”

Shrugging Edward said, “They only took revenge…an eye for an eye.”

In shock Jacob asked, “You mean that they…”

Edward finished, “Did to them what they had intended to do you? Yes, they did.”

Moving towards the car Edward said, “Come on I want to get this stuff home. And, I don’t like leaving James alone.”

Following and rolling his eyes Jacob replied, “James is not alone he is with Emmett.” After a pause Jacob said, “I feel sorry for what happened to the pack. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.”

Edward chuckled, saying, “I wouldn’t feel too bad. It seems Sam liked it.” Jacob looked at him in shock and Edward said, “So Quil and Embry are reenacting a more romantic version of it for him…every night.”

Sharing a look Jacob and Edward burst into laughter.

As they loaded the groceries in the car Jacob thought, ‘I think everything is going to be just fine now.”
