He stood where the tree people that had been cut down and used for wood had been. Like a great dog that was wet from being out in the rain, Aslan shook and hundreds of little, tiny, golden seedlings fell upon the ground. They found refuge in the soil.
Raising his massive head, the lion roared and rain clouds gathered and a light, gentle rain began to fall.
"That's right," he said as the small saplings began to slowly sprout, "live and give Narnia new hope and life." He then turned away from the newly created forest of soon to be tree people. "Now!" he roared, "where's that ape?" He bounded off in a direction, having found where his quarry was.

Shift was not having the best of times at present. He had thought that his plan was his...however, that arrogant fool Rishda and that cat had hijacked his plans. He then heard a loud roar and in the next moment, he was trapped between the paws of a lion.
"Shift," Aslan greeted, "why did you do all of this?"
"No no no no no no no! Not again!" the ape bemoaned.
"Look at me," the lion commanded and turned the apes head to look at him. "Ah, you have been living so long as an ape that you've almost forgotten your former self, Prince Rabadash."
This proclamation seemed to flip a switch in the ape's head. "No! you aren't' going to turn me back into an ass are you?!" he shouted.
"You were always an ass, Rabadash. However, what you have done this day cannot be judged by myself," he said and took the ape by the scruff of the neck. "We will leave from this place and you shall be judged by my father," he finished and the two vanished.

The light glowed, as it was observing the quivering form of a now restored Prince Rabadash.
"Tash must have changed the spell you put on him, kept him alive in a deep sleep and then turned him loose on Narnia when the time was right," the emperor's voice rang out.
"What shall be your judgement of him?" Aslan asked.
"He shall be sent down to the burning wastelands of the land of Tash, there, his rotten soul shall waste away for the rest of time. however, the body that his soul resides in shall be put to better use."
"What do you mean my body will be put to better use!" Rabadash protested. However, he hadn't the chance to get an answer for a light from the sphere of light lanced out and struck the body and Rabadash screamed in horror and terror as his soul was sent down into the land of Tash.
"Take the body and give a certain king new life."
"Won't this go against..."
"This isn't direct interference, my son. The queen needs to keep her head about her. It is time to put right which was made wrong," the voice said and Aslan, with body in tow, vanished.
'Make sure the other goes with him,' the voice sent.

Caspian looked down at the soulless body that was before him. He touched it and felt his hand sinking into the flesh and he pulled back as if he had been burnt.
"Go on," Aslan encouraged.
"But, aren't I supposed to stay..."
"Tash has changed the rules. Now, the greatest must rise again to defend Narnia," Aslan relayed.
"Uh, but won't I appear to look like him?"
"No," Aslan simply answered and Caspian sighed and entered the soulless corpse. It glowed a bright gold for a moment. The light quickly faded and Caspian stood, alive again.
"Now, before I send you to rejoin the other kings and queens in battle, there is an ass that is in the body of a mouse I must find," Aslan said and vanished. Caspian smiled. It appeared that Reepicheep would be joining him.

He couldn't sleep. He was tormenting himself for not watching out for her, even though he tried to remind himself that she was a capable warrior. He saw Shazarraah toss and turn in her sleep and Edmund quickly laid beside her and pulled her against him.
'Bloody Calormene dogs...I'll kill them all if I have to,' Edmund thought viciously. She had more scars on her body from the beating she had been given, but there had been something else that the Calormenes did that made his short temper even shorter.
It seemed that Calormene women, when hair started to grow on their legs, used an herb that only grew within the Calormen Empire to remove and completely stop the growth. On the surface, this wasn't bad, however, when applied to the area where a man would plant his seed into a Calormene woman, that area would become slightly more sensitive, increasing the sexual pleasure of the woman. Five times the recommended amount was used on Shazarraah. This meant that she would be forced to enjoy her raping by whomever would have violated her, making Edmund even more cross with the Calormenes.
He sighed and rocked Shazarraah so that she could sleep peacefully once again.

"My lord," a soldier said from outside the High King's tent. Peter yawned and detached himself from Jadis and poked his head out.
"Yes," he sleepily said.
"Two people came into camp only a moment ago, they claim to know your majesty and wish an audience with you," the soldier said. Peter sighed, dressed and followed the soldier.

His mouth stood agape at the sight before him. Had he not been told the story, he wouldn't have believed it. However, there they stood, King Caspian X, and the most honored mouse in Narnian history, Reepicheep.
"By the lion's mane," Peter gasped out. "Guard, wake the Queen Susan...she'll want to know this. I shant wait till dawn to tell her this for fear of death upon my head," Peter said and Caspian smiled.

She grumbled as the followed the guard that had been sent to fetch her by her brother. She wasn't in a good mood and she was going to let the High King know this.
"You better have a damn good..." Susan began but stopped, seeing..."Caspian!" she cried and the two hugged.
"A joyous reunion if ever I've seen one, your majesty," Reepicheep proclaimed.
"Agreed. This shall bring the spirits of the men to greater heights," Peter added.

'Rishda,'
"Tash?" Rishda asked.
'I cannot appear before you because of that ass's father's command. Listen to me, Caspian X has been revived and so has Reepicheep. The Narnians will be most aggressive and willing to destroy you this day. Head for the land of the stone table and destroy it! Then, retreat back to Calormen held territory. They will want blood and staying in with Narnia's borders will not be advisable.'
"M'lord, I thought..."
'The war can only be won in this manner, Rishda,' the voice of Tash said and vanished. Rishda nodded to himself. He wouldn't go against the will of Tash.
