“Artemis.” She said as I just eyed her, as she shrugged as all my kids settled down and began to use me as their back rest and some used my arms as pillows like a certain goddess of the hunt.
“They just wanted to see you before the big event.” Artemis said as I smiled sadly as Danny our little primordial of sleep was already out like a light.
“Ah.” I said as I slowly stroked Amber’s dark fire red hair as she began to fall asleep on my chest.
“Oh by the way Percy after you left this morning we found something on Luna’s back.” Diana said as I looked at her puzzled.
“What would that be?” I asked her in complete confusion.
“Wing slits.” She said as I almost chocked.
“What?” I whispered as each child was now asleep as Danny was normally contagious when he slept.
“Yeah we thought you wouldn’t have a clue.” Chaos said scratching her head.
“Wait does that explain why I cnat use my other wings now but just my wicked ones?” I asked them as they looked confused now.
“Wicked?” Hestia asked.
“His wings or appendages I guess we told you about that he used to fight the gods.” Chaos said as they nodded remembering.
“Well I think that explains it all of your children are going to have a set of wings.” Hera said as they sighed a little.
“Why does it sound like the rebellious years just got a lot harder?” Piper asked as they all laughed and agreed with her.
“I blame Percy.” Khione said as they all laughed again and just looked up at the sky.
“Its is truly beautiful out tonight.” Chaos said.
“I try my best.” Diana said as they all looked at the 3 full moons along with the one that had giant cracks in it from my fight years ago.
“Well I think it is time to get the children home and us in to bed for the night, and you need your sleep to mister.” Artemis said as the others agreed.
“Okay well pick the monsters up off me so I can warp us home.” I said as they nodded and helped me out as they picked up our children, after I was up I helped Artemis by grabbing Luna and warping us home.
Thirty minutes later I had just finished putting Charlotte to sleep as the 9 were already out like lights. As I normally took care of the children at night to have them get their rest.
“Daddy?” I heard as I turned my head to see Charlotte barely waking up as I walked over to her.
“Yes sweetie?” I asked her as I walked over to her larger crib. She may only be 6 months old but she talked like a 1 year old.
“I love you.” She said as I smiled and gave her a hug.
“I love you to.” I said in her shoulder as I stopped hugging her.
“When will you be back from your trip?” She asked me.
“I don’t know.” I said as she looked a little upset but she just smiled.
“Okay but please come back safe or else mommy will be mad at you.” She said as I nodded and tucked her in again.
“Don’t worry I will come back safe.” I said.
“Pinkie promise?” she asked me holding out her small arm.
“Pinkie promise.” I said as I interloped my larger finger with her small hand.
