Pain....
Screams...
Agony....
They filled the air of this place. This hole was cold and the darkness was uninviting.
“Do You want to tell me why she is still alive?” The voice did not sound happy. Anger seethed from the very tone it’s self. “Hm? You are supposed to be my trusted general.”
“I tried. It was that blasted faun. He got in the way.” Peter stepped through the cold of the darkness. His eyes were not Peter though. “You didn’t tell me she was happily in love.”
“I would have thought that you would have studied the situation before moving in so quickly!” A black paw was barely visible amidst the already dark area. “Who is this faun and what trouble is he going to cause for the future plans?”
“A lot.” He shifted slightly. This Peter held no joy or pride in his voice. He held deception and lust.”He is called Tumnus. I am not sure of his importance, other than the fact that he is her little mate.” Peter glances to the side. “Where are the others?”
“Edmund, Susan and Lucy are doing what I told them to do and that was wait for you to get back.” The growl made Peter jump but he did not falter for long. “Want to tell me something Peter?”
“You act like I planned this.” He crossed his arms over his chest. “I didn’t.”
“Enough.” A pair of gray eyes peered through the pitch black at him. “Tell me how I am supposed to replace those four on the thrones when you can’t even get rid of one girl, because of a FAUN!” He snapped with a snarl.
“I told you!” Peter stared menacingly. “She is happily in LOVE with him. He didn’t trust me! Then they sent foxes and a centaur! Oh and who was next?”
“Don’t say it.” The growl was low. “That name is not to be uttered in my presence.”
“Well too bad.” Peter looked at him. “It was Aslan! He is on to you. He may not know all of what you have in mind, just as we don’t, but he knows your going after the girl! I can’t get with in five feet of her with that faun there! Oh and why is it only up to ME to get rid of her?” He was bold. “The others need to be helping.”
“Enough!” White teeth came inches from Peters face. He did not flinch. He just glared angrily. “You..will continue to do as I say. I brought you here. I raised you all for all of those agonizingly long years. I am the one who made you shadows.”
“Yes you made us. You made some simpering human woman give birth to your dark seeds. We only have them fooled because I sent a Mimrick in at first to kill one of those stupid centaurs. They would be suspecting a lot more if it were not for me. You are also lucky she wished for Peter and note one of the others. “ Peter pushed the black lions head away. “So dear father! I suggest keeping anger in check because it isn’t going to help is it?”
“You are lucky that I do not kill you right here you insolent boy.” Nalsa quipped. “You are also lucky that you are my favorite.”
“I have heard this all before.” He shook his head. “What do you intend to do to help me? I can not do what you ask, LIKE I SAID, with that faun and every one else guarding her.”
“I will have to ponder this.” Nalsa nodded. “Go join the others.”
“What a loving father.” Peter smirked darkly. “Sending me off to play now?”
“GO!” The roar echoed in the empty darkness. “Now!”
“Keep your fur on.” He rolled his eyes and walked off but stopped for a second. “You will be interested to know..” Peter turned slightly. “Cair Paravel only has two thrones now.”
“What?” Nalsa gasped. “No.”
“Guess you will have to rethink plans, daddy dearest.”
Peter chuckled and walked away. He was a cruel vicious Peter. He was not anything like the real one. Nor were the others.
“Peter? Look who’s back.” Susan’s voice was only heard at first. “The failure.”
“I will show you failure, Peter.” Susan appeared in a swirl of black mist. “At least I do not have father wanting to bite my head off.”
“Father is letting his anger guide him. He sent me on a task that should have waited a few more days.” Peter pushed her aside. “It is not my fault, AS I KEEP SAYING, that Lucy suddenly has a husband.”
“No I don’t.” Another girls voice was heard. “Lucy isn’t married.” She stepped out of the same strange mist. She was exactly like Lucy, in Narnia, except for the eyes. “And if I am.” She looked up at him. “Who is it to?”
“A faun.” Peter smirked. “Tumnus the faun.”
“Oh good lords.” Lucy rolled her eyes. “So she stays in Narnia, like she isn’t supposed to, and then marries a faun.”
“You were created after her shadow.” Susan smirked. “So got any hankerings to find a faun Lu?”
“Shut up before I put you into a wall.” Lucy shot daggers at them. “Don’t think I won’t either.”
“Oh honestly!” Edmund joined their little party. “This is why we can never accomplish anything! You three are always fighting!”
“Oh and what do you suggest we do about the situation?” Peter turned to face him. “Or are you just blowing off steam because your head is empty.”
“Actually I have a plan but father would not approve of it.” Edmund smirked. “Which makes it perfect.”
“Edmund always was the traitor in the family.” Susan laughed. “That is an admirable quality in my book. As long as you don’t turn against us that is.”
“You two are so Incest.” Lucy shuddered. “ I mean Ew.”
“We are not!” Susan shoved Lucy back. “I complimented him. I didn’t say I wanted to have sex with him.”
“SHUT UP!” Peter commanded all of them. “Edmund?”
“Finally.” Edmund sighed. “Now ..What about this faun? Tumnus was he?”
“Yes.” Peter rubbed his temple. “Bloody thing completely blocked me from Lucy. He kept smiling and asking me things. I finally just agreed to shut him up. I was hoping to get her at dinner at least.”
“And he tested you instead with those questions.” Edmund nodded. “Well..the answer is simple. We get rid of the faun first. This leaves her weakness alone and upset because her husband is dead and then..there we are..falling through a portal way.” He smiled. “Just in time for her to see us and need us.”
“That will never work.” Lucy scolded. “You will have to lure the damned thing away from her. Just how do you intend to do that?”
“You don’t know? Sister dear?” Edmund grinned. “Ever make it with a faun?”
“Hey!” Lucy blinked. “No way! Get your self a new plan. This girl isn’t the bait.”
“Why not!?” Susan stomped her foot. “It is a good plan.”
“They do have a point Lu.” Peter nodded.”He is so head over heels in love with Lucy that...he would follow her anywhere.”
“Nothing doing.” She held her hands up. “I am not going to play a part in this one.” Lucy shuddered. “NO.”
“Lucy!” Edmund just growled. “Fine. We will have to think of another plan.” He motioned to the mist with his hand. “Lets go.”
“You brat.” Susan walked off towards the mist. “We could have this done quick if you would help. “
“Incest witch.” Lucy shoved Susan into the mist. “Hurry up you two!” She yelled back.
“We will think of another plan.” Edmund nodded. “It shouldn’t be that hard. Lets go Peter.”
“Yeah, yeah. You think it will be easy.”
Peter pushed him into the mist and followed behind. They were all so completely different than the original four and yet they were Lucy, Peter, Edmund and Susan.
“Those Scheming little ...”
Nalsa shook his head as he watched from the darkness. Those four were just as power hungry and greedy as he was. They really did a father proud.

Narnia......
The night winds blew gently. Tumnus wrapped his arm around her and smiled. Lucy grinned and leaned against him more. That was one of the best nights they had together. Every time was better than the first.
“Thank you Tumnus. You know how to make me smile.” She slipped her dress on. “You are also a very powerful romantic.”
“As long as you are happy.” He kissed her lips softly. His hands grasped her above her head. “You are happy right?”
“Tumnus.” She grinned.”You are being naughty.”
“No I’m not.” He chuckled and let her hands go. “I am being me.”
“That might be considered naughty.” Lucy stretched and laid against him. She blinked and sat back up quickly though. “What is that?”
“What is what?” Tumnus stood when she did.”What is it Lucy?”
“Over there.” She pointed. “Those black clouds in the distance. They look like they are covering something.”
“They are covering the entire Northern wild mountains.” Tumnus looked very concerned. “Come on Lucy.”
“We have to tell the others.” Lucy grabbed up the basket and blanket. “Aslan will want to know.”
“I think they already do know.” He led her from the grove and pointed to the camp. “Everyone is up and looking.”
Kale was galloping to the edge of camp. He stopped when he saw Lucy and Tumnus. The two nodded and quickly walked past him. They already knew what he was going to say. He was going to command them back to the main camp.
The centaur whistled and called for his men. He was off in a hurry with them. They were checking boarders around the camp.
“Aslan?” Lucy ran up to the lion. He was staring into the distance where the cloud was forming. “Aslan, what is it?”
“I don’t know.” he looked at Lucy and Tumnus. “We will find out.”
He let a roar sound. Lucy jumped at the loudness. Tumnus caught her and pulled her back. There was a large flapping sound over head. Aslan looked up and greeted the silver colored eyes of a black feathered gryphon. It landed before the lion, bowing it’s head deeply.
“Sir.” The gryphon stood promptly. “I am at your beckoned call.”
“Thank you old friend.” Aslan sighed. “I would like for you to fly to those clouds and see what is happening. Do not put your self in danger.”
“It will be done.” The gryphon, Razor Wing, Stood. “I will take another with me.”
“Be careful Razor Wing. Your life is more valuable than information.” Aslan lowered his head to the great beast in thanks. “Hurry.”
“Thank you sir.” Razor wing looked to the silent Lucy. “Your majesty.”
“Be careful.” Lucy smiled. “He is right. Your life isn’t worth losing just for information.”
“I will come back.” Razor Wing Leapt to the air. “I promise!” He called as he flew away.

“You four! Get out here!” Nalsa roared. “Now!”
“What?” Peter walked out first. “We were trying to get a plan together.”
“Where are the others?” Nalsa turned from a mist pool to look at him. “Well?”
“They are coming.” Peter shook his head. “What is happening now?”
“Look.”
“The Northern Wild?” Peter raised a brow. “That..”
“Exactly. HE has already sent winged scouts to go check it out.” Nalsa turned to look at the other three. “I want all of you to go see what is happening. This could interfere with plans.”
“You can’t expect us to waltz in there while he has winged scouts over there.” Peter blinked. “Think logically.”
“I am.” Nalsa snarled. .”I want you to go check it out.”
“Lets go.” Peter sighed. “Father has commanded we go on a scouting trip.”
“Father?” Lucy walked over beside him. “Not to sound impudent but..you look more worried than you’re letting on.”
“You really do father.” Susan nodded. “You can’t hide it very well.”
“Do you know what those black clouds might be father?” Edmund spoke up.”Or do you have a suspicion even?”
“I do.” Nalsa shook his head. “If it is what I think it is.” He sighed. “It means our plans are going to be drastically changed.”
“What is it?” Lucy looked at the Mist Pool again. “It looks like something is forming in the clouds.”
“Just go and see but do not get too close.” Nalsa commanded again. “Tell me if you see the beginnings of a onyx black structure. You can do this from a distance.”
“You don’t mean this is THE legend? The legend you fear coming true?” Peter suddenly realized what might be happening. “Father?”
“This very well could be it. My brother plays stupid and acts like he does not know.” Nalsa growled. “He does though.”
“What Legend father?” Lucy touched his mane. “You never told me about any legend.”
“Because I didn’t think you would need to know.” the black lion looked at them. “I only told Peter about it once. I didn’t expect him to remember.”
“You underestimate me father.” Peter sighed. “I was not a baby when you told me.”
“Well then you can fill them in on what they need to know.” The lion walked past them all. “I’ll be back. Remember....Do NOT get too close. Just scout it and come back.”
“Yes father.” Susan blinked. She never saw him act like this. “We will.”
“Father?” Lucy frowned. She was the sweetest of all the four. “Where are..”
He was gone. The black lion faded into the blackness before her question was finished. All three immediately looked to Peter.
“Spill It.” Lucy ordered.
“Now.” Susan added.
“I agree with them.” Edmund smirked. “For once.”
“You all better listen. I am only telling you this once.” Peter crossed arms over his chest. “I am not a stupid bard.”
“Just Tell us!”
All three of them yelled it now. They were starting to get a little impatient with him. Neither one of them cared if he was the eldest or not.
“Father told me this along time ago. He called it the legend of the Pre destined dawn.” Peter closed his eyes, trying to remember. “IT has something to do with Narnia and troubled times. A daughter of eve will become heavy with a burden of love. It is her love and a great sacrifice that will bring about the two crowns of the destined. These destined will hence rule over Narnia as unquestioned rulers. Not even the sons or daughters of eve in the past can claim king or queens title when the destined take the crowns.”
“I am going to be one of those destined.” Lucy nodded. “I will take a crown.
“Not before me!” Susan yelled. “I am older than you!”
“Who sais it is going to be either of you!” Edmund glared. “It could be me and Peter.”
“What about father?” Lucy smirked. “He rules us so it doesn’t matter. He will be the ruler over all of Narnia. That’s all any of us have to say about it.”
“Right.” Peter smirked. “Lets go back to working on a plan. We still need to get that faun alone.”
“We have to go scout for father remember?” Susan slapped the back of his head. “Stupid.” She laughed as she walked off.
The other three shook their heads and followed. Sometimes being in this family was just a pain.
