On to the story
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Courage and conviction were his. The high lord, Aslan, raced through and down the trail. He had to find out what was happening to his people. He was letting worry cloud his mind about them. What if they foolishly risked their lived when he told them not to?
“Those poor souls.” Aslan whispered.
His paws outstretched and he continued to run. The tower was a distance away. He had to get there. The urgency inside him was growing with every passing second. His thoughts trails again but this time they were of the camp. He hoped that kale could keep everyone calm. He knew Lucy and Tumnus would help but things were becoming so complicated.
He slowed to a stop. Aslan panted and rose his great muzzle into the air. He sniffed , for something caught his nose. It was feint but the smell was there.
“What?” He looked around swiftly. His body did a three hundred and sixty degree turn around. “Nalsa.”
“Look who has gotten wise in his old age.” The cold voice came from all around him. “You don’t look centuries old. Ashamed, I always thought I was the looker in the family.”
“Come out Nalsa.” Aslan tried to pin point his scent but it was marked everywhere on the trees. “Only cowards hide.”
“I am a coward?” The dark chuckled made Aslan shiver. “As I recall, Brother, You are the one who sent two helpless gryphons to the black tower, instead of going your self.”
“And I have come to get them back.” Aslan snarled. “What is your purpose her Nalsa? You can not stop that which Narnia is fated to.”
“No I can’t, but I can make it work to my favor.” The black lion jumped down and landed behind Aslan. “Just like I made my being banished do.”
“I only banished you because you have a cold heart Nalsa. You never could see the love narnia has to offer you. She still does love you. You just have to accept her love.”Aslan was trying to change his brother again.
“Oh boo hoo. I am crying. Narnia loves me.” He growled, walking around to the front of Aslan. “I didn’t see Narnia protecting me when you banished me. Don’t you think that if a land loved someone, it would help to protect them?”
“You gave up on her.”
“Do you honestly think I care! Narnia is not alive!” Nalsa snarled. “You act like it is a being in it’s self! This is nothing but land. It is land that I should rightfully rule and you know it!”
“You could have ruled! You just had to love and feel concern!” Aslan was actually yelling. The calm lion was not calm anymore. “The ancient of before..She said you could be a great ruler.” he stepped closer. “Please Nalsa. There is still time to stop what ever you are planning. We are brothers.”
“You sentimental old fool.” Nalsa shook his head and sighed. “You can not tell me that you still want to try and turn me to the light.”
“There is always hope.” Aslan said in a soft tone.
“Hope?” Nalsa sat down on his haunches and looked at Aslan. “What hope? I was ignored for you. I was second to you. I was made to be around you because all of the elders and ancients thought I would change because of you. Do we see a common word in all of this? Hmm brother?”
“Don’t be like that.” Aslan sighed. “It is not all about me. You must care for someone or something. You are in Narnia. I beg of you, brother.” He stepped closer. “Feel something. We can stop people from being lost together.”
“You really are an old fool.” Nalsa growled. His cold gray stare did not falter. “You believe in all those ideals. Love? Hope? Faith? Trust? Blood? What do all of these mean to me? You banished me or did you forget over the course of this conversation. You haven’t even a right to call me brother!”
The words jabbed into him like a knife. Each one stabbed deeper than the last. Aslan looked down. He held his once proud head in shame. Yes he banished him. It was for the good of Narnia. He didn’t regret it but he still felt his heart sink because of the way his brother only worsened from it.
“So you will not reconsider?” Aslan spoke in a lowered tone. “Nalsa?”
“I wouldn’t reconsider if my life depended on it. However, Your life does depend on everything doesn’t it?”
“What do you mean?” Aslan had been so distracted and upset that he did not see, smell or hear Lucy, Edmund, Peter or Susan come up behind him. “You black hearted fool” Aslan shouted.
He tried to act before the four were on top of him. He jumped away but a net of black fell over him. He snarled in pain, falling to the ground in a solid thud. The net was material from the world that Nalsa had been banished to. It was a darker, more depressing land than Narnia.
“It is this black hearted fool that will rule Narnia.” Nalsa nodded to the four. “Come children. Step out so uncle Aslan can see you better.”
“There is no way I am calling him Uncle.” Susan stepped forward from the shaded darkness first.” I will call him a soft hearted kitten though.”
“S...Susan?” Aslan trembled in pain. The net felt heavy and sapped any energy he had away. “You..aren’t ..Susan.” His soft, honey brown yes were fixed on her. “What sorcery are you up to , Nalsa!”
“Oh he isn’t up to any sorcery.” Peter stepped out. “You are formidable fight. It is too bad that you and I had to part that day at Cair Paravel.”
“Peter..you were a Mimrick!” Aslan had been completely fooled. “What are you?” His voice had softened to pained whispers.
“We are Lucy, Edmund, Susan an Peter. We just happen to be a little darker and a lot more tolerable than them.” Edmund spoke next. “You really shouldn’t struggle. That net will only continue to drain your energy if you do.”
“So let him be drained.” Lucy let Aslan see her now. “You know..” She sighed. “I can not believe you let a marriage between someone as beautiful as me and a faun happen.”
Aslan closed his eyes. His heart was so torn apart now that even the best puzzler in the world could not put the pieces back together. This was the nets other ‘ability’ working. It tended to drain you of the good feelings inside.
“Ohh, Poor little kitty.” Susan said mockingly. “Oh look. The kitty is crying.”
“Now, now children.” Nalsa chuckled. “So Aslan. What do you think of my children? Do you see how much I wanted to be like you? I went out and got my self a family too. Aside form the little family disputes, they are gems. Don’t you think?”
“How could you do this to Narnia, Nalsa? They are the images of very beloved queens and kings. You have made monsters.” Aslan didn’t even try and move now. “They are nothing but shades.”
“Oh?” Nalsa looked at the four. “They are very real. I even had a stupid daughter of eve bare them.”
“She was stupid.” Peter laughed. “She actually thought to love us.”
“Children.” Nalsa looked to them. “Why don’t you three,” He pointed to Edmund, Susan and Peter, “Help me get our poor little Aslan here back to the pits. You,” he looked at Lucy. “You have a job to work on doing.”
“Don’t make me. I don’t want that stupid faun to touch me.” Lucy made a face. “There..is something about him and that other me.”
“Just do it.” Nalsa commanded.
“Fine but don’t blame me if this take a little while.” Lucy looked at Aslan one last time. The pain and sorrow in his eyes made her turn away. “They have to leave that camp first.”
“What are you going to do to Lucy and Tumnus!” Aslan tried to rise as he shouted. The pain of the net kept him from going too far.
“Down kitty!” Susan jumped.
“It looks like your uncle dearest here has a soft spot for those two.” Nalsa smirked. “I don’t care if it takes you a week. Just get her to us. And actually, I do care. The red sun rise happens in a week and four days. She has to be at the temple by the red sunrise.”
“Demanding aren’t you , daddy?” Lucy rolled her eyes. “I’m going now.” She said as she walked off from them.”
“Lucy?” Nalsa made sure to say this in front of Aslan. “Make sure to kill the faun.”
“I know what to do father.” She sighed. “I am not Peter, Susan or Edmund. I got the brains in the family.” She mockingly spoke that in her best sing song voice. “Toodles.”
“Hey!” Edmund tensed up. “You are so lucky that father needs you.”
“Oh go kiss on Susan.” Lucy walked off. “Incest breath.”
“We are not Incest!” Susan yelled in vain.
“Will you stop fighting already?” Peter smacked both f them on the back of the head. “She just does that to agitate you.”
Both Susan and Edmund stumbled forward. He landed on top of her when they hit the ground. Susan gasped and shoved Edmund off of her. Edmund grunted and rolled to the side. One hand was on his head and the other was on his chest.
“Don’t do that again Peter!” Edmund stood slowly. “I swear I will hurt you.”
“Not before I do.” Susan glared.” You will have to wait your turn.”
“Children!” Nalsa snapped. “Stop your fighting.”
“No matter how perfect you think copies are, They can never be the real things.” Aslan sighed. “You will not..” He started to shake. “Y..you won’t get away with what ever you’re planning.”
“On the contrary.” Nalsa shot a glance to Aslan. “I already have half the battle won. I have you don’t I?”
“For now.” Aslan closed his eyes again. “For now.”
“Poor kitty is sad.” Susan walked over to him and knelt down. He felt her hand scratching his ear. “I’ll tell you a secret.” She grinned. “Once I take one of the crowns..how about I make you a personal pet. You can serve me as a personal guard and slave as I help rule.”
“You won’t get a crown.” Edmund laughed. “Last time I checked, stupidity wasn’t one of the qualifications to rule.”
“Not again.” Nalsa sighed and sat back down on his hind legs. “See what I mean? Adorable but always fighting.”
“You two aren’t meant to get the crowns.” Peter looked at Edmund and Susan. “Lucy is obviously going to have one and there is only one other logical choice for the other.”
“Who is that?” Susan looked up at him. “I know you will say me.”
“No.” Peter grinned. “It is me.”
“No!” Edmund yelled. “You couldn’t even kill a stupid girl when she was right there in your arms!”
“I couldn’t! Father said keep it discrete!” Peter stamped his foot. “I keep telling you!”
“We know! It is the stupid fauns fault.” Edmund sighed, rubbing his temple. “You two are a major headache.”
“I think I agree.” Aslan grumbled.
“Excuse me?” Peter looked at Aslan. “We are trying to have a little debate here. We don’t need grumbling from the pathetic kitten club interrupting.” He nodded and glanced back to Edmund and Susan. “Now.”
“There is nothing to debate. Lucy will have one, because she just happens to be lucky and I will have the other one.” Susan stated simply.
“Children.” Nalsa couldn’t get a word in edge wise.
“Please, you?” Edmund laughed. “You can’t even dress your self properly.”
“Like you can do any better Edmund.” Peter quipped.
“Children.” Nalsa sighed and looked at Aslan. “Even if I yelled it wouldn’t stop them right now. Wonder where they get such quality traits.”
“If you call that quality, I would prefer the defects.” Aslan wished he could cover his ears right now. “That or ear plugs.”
“Try multiple years of hearing it.” Nalsa chuckled. “You will get used to it.”
“You really don’t intend to hurt narnia do you?” Aslan couldn’t believe any of this.
“Oh I intend to rule it with them. Two of them will take the crowns and I will rule them. Thus I am put on high as supreme, unquestioned ruler. Then I will make the ancients and elders pay for putting a sympathetic heart in charge.”
“You wouldn’t.”Aslan sounded shocked.
“Oh I would. Narnia is just the first step. Very soon, you will see.” Nalsa looked to the arguing three. “Are we done yet?”
“Shut up Edmund!” Susan shoved him back. “I swear I will..Ohh..” she trembled.
“Lucy was right.”Peter shook his head. “You two are incest.”
“WE ARE NOT!” Both Susan and Edmund yelled together.
“CHILDREN!” Nalsa had enough. “SHUT UP!”
His roar made all three of them jump back, silent. Nalsa nodded and motioned a paw to Aslan. Aslan was quiet him self. He was praying to Narnia that things would be okay. He couldn’t do anything because of the net, else he would be trying harder to escape. He was definitely ambushed and they were certainly ready for him. It was a rare victory to claim.
“Get him and lets go.” Nalsa ordered them. “And don’t start your non sense up again.”
They all grumbled silently. They shot jabs of elbows at each other when they went to grab Aslan. They were all, very much so, nothing at all like their light halves.
“Once we get him to the pits, start preparing things for the ceremony.” A gate of mist opened in front of Nalsa. “Understand?”
“We have no idea how long Lucy is going to take.” Peter dragged the net and Aslan along the ground. Edmund and Susan were helping him. “She could take forever.”
“Then we will be ready for them when Lucy brings Lucy..” the black lion blinked. “I should of give you all different names.”
“God he is heavy.” Susan grunted.
They pulled him through a patch of thorns on purpose. Aslan growled low but held back his reaction. He knew they would only delight in seeing it.
“He is a lion Duffus.” Peter grunted out.
Peter and Edmund Gave a heavy tug and tossed Aslan into the mist gateway where Nalsa went. Susan followed and then the two boys jumped in. The mist gate way sealed behind them, blocking any path or chance of other Narnian’s to come and rescue their exalted lion lord, Aslan.

“Aslan!” Lucy sat up panting.
“Lucy?” Tumnus sat up beside her. “What’s wrong?” He held her hand. “Another dream?”
“Yes.” She looked at him. Worry filled her eyes. “I had a dream he was hurting.”
“Should we tell Kale?”
Tumnus hugged her against him. Lucy sighed and shook her head. If she told Kale then he would only get worried and send people out to look. Those people might disappear like the gryphons.
“I think...we need to go tot he tower on our own. We have to keep more people from getting lost or hurt.”
“You know what that means.” Tumnus brushed his fingers through her hair. “If we go there.”
“I know Tumnus.” She looked up at him. “We can’t keep letting people disappear. I heard three more people followed out after Aslan. They haven’t come back to camp at all. Kale said to give them a few hours but..I..just have this bad feeling inside of me.”
“We can’t leave out right now. Kale will be watching.”
“So we have to wait for later.” Lucy leaned up, kissing him. “We have to do this. For Narnia and for us. We could never forgive our selves if more people got hurt.”
“I know.”
He started to kiss over her neck. She gasped and leaned into his kisses.
“Now what are we doing?” Lucy chuckled. “Hmm?”
“Passing a little time until Kale lets his guard down and I am also exploring your beautiful curves.”
“Tumnus!” She laughed. “Naughty faun.”
“I know that already too.” He pushed her down onto the bed so she was on her back. “But I an only naughty with you.”
“I love you Tumnus. No matter what happens, I love you.”
“I love you too Lucy.” He leaned over and kissed her softly. “More than anything in the world.”
“W..Will you promise to never forget me Tumnus? If anything happens...”
“No..shh..Don’t.” He placed a finger over her lips.” Nothing is going to happen to you. We will make it through this.”
She nodded and kissed his finer tip. Tumnus smiled and pulled it away from her pouty lips.
“Now where to start exploring?” Tumnus grinned. “The chest or maybe something a little lower.”
He slid down and she gasped when his head went under the skirt of her dress.
“Tumnus!”
This was a really good way to pass time. She couldn’t argue with the thought at all. Neither could her body which was trembling in delight.
