Struggle of Swords

"A fine work of craftsmanship if I say so myself, your majesty, but this was not made by any dwarf I must confess," a dwarf said, looking over the sword that Peter had retrieved early that morning.
"It also seems to be a source of good magic...I'd be able to tell right off it was a source of dark magic," Jadis relayed.
Peter nodded and sheaved the sword. "Then, we need to prepare to drive the Calormenes back out of Narnia." 'Hopefully, these two couples won't flirt with each other all the way to the front lines," Peter thought, looking at first Susan and Caspian and then at Edmund and Shazarraah.
'At least those two aren't arguing constantly, but is that really a good thing?' the High King asked himself.

"The Narnian dogs are loose! Kill them!" Rishda ordered and the two armies clashed yet again. Immediately, Rishda went for Peter, hoping to take the High King's head off, however, his scimitar was met by a sword that Rishda hadn't seen Peter use before.
"I see you found yourself a new sword," Rishda growled.
"Yes, and this blade shall be your end," Peter grunted. The two continued to clash, their blades making a sound so loud, so dreadful, that the sound drowned out the sounds of other swords clanging or the arrows that flew above both armies.

"Make sure you hit something, and, make sure that something is Calormene!" Susan barked to the archers. Arrows flew across the battle field like a flock of deadly birds. Arrows from the Calormen side were quickly launched in response.
888
"They don't seem to want to give up!" Caspian called out.
"Hardly!" Edmund shouted back.
"Less talking and more fighting!" Shazarraah shouted.
"You sure you wish to marry her?" Caspian teased as the two boys continued to fight through the ranks of Calormene soldiers.
"She'll kill me if I don't," Edmund grunted and continued to fight, trying to make sure that he didn't lose sight of Shazarraah.

Rishda twirled the sword above his head again and fired that dreadfully evil attack. However, whether he was guided by instinct, or, he was just making a lucky guess, Peter slashed at the attack, and to Rishda's horror, the attack dissipated.
"Got anymore tricks?" Peter asked.
"You shall die this day Narnian dog!"
888
The two armies fought, neither yielding, neither giving ground to the other. Eventually, but slowly, the Narnian army started pushing the Calormenes back across Narnian territory. Eventually, the Calormenes retreated back across the border and took a position near the river bank while the Narnian army kept to their side of the border.

"There must be another way than killing all of them," Lucy began her protest.
Peter sighed, "Aslan told us that his father said that all who worship Tash must be killed and the temple at Tashbaan must be burned. I wish it different myself, Lucy, but not even Aslan himself can go against his father. The one good thing is that this sword I've just happened to have found before that battle seems to be able to counter Rishda's own scimitar."
"could Aslan..." Edmund began and his brother held up a hand to stop him from saying anymore.
"We can't be too sure either way, but if Rishda's weapon was created by Tash, then this sword must have come from Aslan, somehow," Peter finished.
"So, how do you wish to play this out?" Caspian asked.
"Let them continue to charge. Every time they do, we knock them back and advance forward. Eventually, we'll get to a point where they will fall back to Tashbaan and that is where we shall end this for good," Peter affirmed.
"Oh, I see, make them charge at us instead of us charging at them, making them tired and..." Edmund said.
"Making them much less than the army they currently are," Caspian finished.

Azaroth and Zardeenah appeared before the glowing light. The light radiated out, but the two shielded themselves from it.
"Not so fast...we aren't as affected by your powers like Tash is," Azaroth let out.
"Why have you desecrated my home?" the light asked.
"Have you not realized what chaos you've brought? You've told the mortals to kill each other. Have you no mercy?" Zardeenah asked.
"They worship Tash. As long as they worship that evil then they shall be destroyed. I have delivered the Narnians into the hands of the Calormenes and the Calormenes into the hands of the Narnians."
"But, we aren't under this judgement, oh Emperor," Azaroth said.
"Yes, so, therefore, by our hands, Narnia shall burn!" Zardeenah let out.
"I shall not allow..." the light began to say but the weapons of the two, an axe for Azaroth and scythes for Zardeenah, crashed upon the light, dimming it. A roar sounded and the two other deities of Calormen vanished.
"Justice shall be gotten!" Aslan roared out.
888
"Something wrong, my king?" Jadis asked.
"I don't know...it feels like...it feels like something dark has happened but there is no proof of it...I wonder..."
"The other two?"
"Yes...Azaroth and Zardeenah weren't mentioned by Aslan by name...I have a bad feeling this war has taken a nasty turn and neither army, nor the commanders of these armies were responsible for the turn."
888
"We have other allies...Azaroth and Zardeenah have struck a blow against the great emperor...now, without Aslan's father to light the way, we shall destroy them, once and for all!" Rishda shouted and and the Calormenes cried out as well.
888
He got up and headed outside. He didn't know where he was going, just that something was drawing him out of the camp. He then saw him, standing there, awaiting on him.
"I thought I would not see you until the end of the war."
"There are no more guarantees in this world now, High King," Aslan said to Peter.
"Then I must assume that the other two beings of Calormen have made a move?"
"Yes."
"What do I do?"
"Jadis is the key."
"Jadis?"
"Azaroth and Zardeenah aren't as powerful as Tash. They are on the same level as Jadis was when she froze Narnia. Now, one more task must be done. You must kill Rishda, and Jadis must destroy Azaroth and Zardeenah."
"I understand," Peter said and the lion silently vanished from Peter's sight.
