“Hey there welcome to The LD.” She said to me in a country accent.
“Hi. I’m looking for Cindy.” I said to her.
“Well you sure did find her what can I do you for?” She asked me.
“I’m interested in purchasing the station you have for sale in the desert.” I said to her.
“really. Well that’s absolutely wonderful. So you want to go take a look at it?” She asked me.
“no I just want to purchase it. How much do you want for it?” I asked her.
“Well it’s not that big. It’s about the size of a really small one bedroom apartment. And it needs a lot of work.” She said to me.
“I just need to know the price.” I said to her.
“well I’m asking 50 grand.” she said to me.
“will you take 40 if it’s in cash?” I asked her. She sat there a thought for a second. You could tell she was thinking really hard.
“I do need the money.” she said to herself, “ I suppose we could do that. So long as when you do see you don’t complain and want your money back.” She said to me.
“do not worry about that.” I said to her.
“Well do you have the money on you now? Cause I have the keys and title in my car.” She said to me.
“Where’s the closest ATM?” I asked her.
“We have an ATM machine by the restrooms.” She said to me.
“Well then I’ll get the cash and you can get the title.” I said to her.
“I don’t think Any ATM is going to give you 40 grand.” She said to me, “you have to go to a bank. What bank do you have?” She asked me. I took out my card and looked at it
“Chase.” I said to her.
“Well you in luck there’s one right across the street.” She said to me.
“Ok I will be right back.” I said to her, “ Have the title and key’s ready for when I do come back.
“Ok honey, I’ll be here.” She said to me as I got up. I walked out of the Dinner and quickly across the street and into the back.
“Hello how can I help you today?” A lady from behind a counter asked. I walked up to her.
“I need to take some money out of my account.” I said to her as I handed her my card.
“Ok Miss Lulou give me on sec as I pull up you account ok here we got it seems you have 48,820 dollars in it how much do you need?” She asked me.
“40 grand.” I said to her.
“That is a large amount to withdraw are you purchasing a car?” She asked me.
“No property.” I said to her.
“Where at?” She asked as she did some things on her computer.
“I do not wish to talk about it.” I said to her. She stopped talking and finished what she was doing. Seconds later she was counting out 40,000 dollars in 100 dollar bills to me. I too the money thanked her and walked back over to the dinner. Money and keys were exchanged. I signed a piece of a paper and she signed it too, as well as he boss. He was apparently a witness to the sale of this property. I took the keys and title and walked back over to the Riot.
“Well hi there again. Did everything go as you wanted?” he asked me.
“yes.” I said to him as I handed him a key, “ When you deliver it put it some place safe. Cover it up. Make sure it doesn’t get broken. Then met me there Tuesday night at 9. Please.” I said to him.
“My pleasure miss, by the way I didn’t get your name.” He said to me.
“Victoria. My name is Victoria, and yours is?” I asked him.
“Henry.” He said to me.
“Well Henry it was a pleasure doing business with you I will see you at 9 on Tuesday.” I said to him as I left the store. I texted my mom to come and get me.
