Quite sometime later, Caitlin crawled out of the water onto the formation of rocks at the side of the hot spring. Hook had been lounging on a large quilt that he had brought up and laid out for them, eating some small morsels that had been brought up as well. He laughed when she scrambled up onto the quilt next to him, “Honestly you were in there so long I thought I might have to check if your legs had become a tail. Thought I might have married a mermaid.” Swallowing his bite he pushed a plate towards her knowing she must be hungry.
“Oh I’m starving.” She said picking up some bread taking a bite, as her eyes started to wonder the large cavern again. James had been enjoying himself immensely, watching her swim with such grace and beauty, and now that she’d come out and her hair was beginning to dry, it was twisting into the loveliest red curls about her face. It was strange, the water seemed to make her hair turn as red as the drapes that hung in his Cabin. “This place is so beautiful James.” She smiled brightly looking at him, “Thank you for bringing me here.”
He just looked at her for a moment, “It holds not even a fraction of the magnificence that the Goddess before me possesses.” Caitlin’s cheeks flushed bright red as it brought a smile to her lips her eyes moving away from his face in embarrassment.
“We’re married now James . . . . you don’t have to say such wonderfully nice things to me all the time.” She whispered over a lump in her throat. He just chuckled at her as he took a sip of wine from his goblet. It was certainly a fleshing change of pace then just about every other woman he’d known over the course of his lifetime. She shook her head and smiled wider as she took another bite of food.
“Be careful my dear. You seem as if your actually having fun with me today.” Caitlin looked up at him caught off guard by his words. “The last time I saw that light in your eyes, I do believe you had just beaten everyone on my ship at sword play.” He grinned devilishly, “Well . . . I should say, almost everyone.”
Caitlin’s brow furrowed slightly, “Really? Who had I missed?” she wasn’t quick enough to day to realize who he’d been referring to.
“I am certain that Smee told you at some point who the best swordsmen on the ship was, did he not?”
“Oh . . . .of course he did.” She said shaking her head feeling silly she’d forgotten for the moment. But then the same mischievous smile crossed her lips then as it did the day she’d started her contest on the deck of the Jolly Rodger. “But only because he wasn’t awake to be challenged at the time.” A wicked light in her eyes as she looked to James, clearly challenging him.
“You think so?” He repeated with a raised brow putting down his wine. “I find myself wondering about that my dear.” Standing from his place he reached behind a rock, taking out two swords, “Perhaps, we should find out?” He said tossing her one of the swords that she reached up and caught from the air.
Caitlin looked about the cave before casting her eyes back at the Captain, “Here? Now?” Chuckling he reached out with his hook that he’d put back on once he was out of the water. Reaching up she took his arm as he pulled her to her feet. “Uh. . . James I’m not dressed.” She said quickly shying back away from him.
“Well, it sounds as if someone does not have the faith in her abilities she so eagerly tried made all believe.” Caitlin frowned at that, she stepped towards him with her brow furrowed, saluting him with the sword and taking her fighting stance. The fact she stood before him in her undergarments and bare feet was completely forgotten. He chuckled a bit watching this, saluting her back. They did possess many of the same qualities. They locked gazes for a moment before Caitlin lunged at James, and the first clash of their swords echoed through the cavern.
They exchanged several triangles, until there swords locked together and they were pulled together looking into each others eyes. James held her there for a moment smiling, “Care to make a small wager my dear?” This was completely annoying, he was much better then any she’d challenged on the ship. Pulling her sword apart from his as she stepped back and quickly attacked again with great speed and accuracy. He successfully blocked each and every advance, and then made a few of his own, which she in turn blocked as well.
“What wager is that!” She called out before spinning around almost catching him off guard getting a bit close to his head for comfort. He looked at her a moment seeing a fire in her eyes that sent chills down his spine. The excitement that she held there and the passion with which she fought was causing a bit of excitement of his own. Once there swords clashed again he spun his blade around hers nearly throwing it from her hands, but she pulled back quickly retaining her grasp on the hilt.
“First one to disarm the other, gets to choose our next activity this night.” He advanced again as their swords crossed hard and he pushed her down against a rock as the swords crossed against her chest. He leaned in close to her face, “And the one who loses has to submit to the others choice. Do we have an accord?” He said looking down at her, waiting for a response before he would release her to continue.
Caitlin was to determined to think about the requests that could possibly be made and knew better then to sound like she was losing confidence, “Agreed.” She said through her teeth taking a deep breath and bracing her back against the rock, with all of her strength she shoved him off of her and quickly found her feet again attacking with the heart of a lioness. This burst of energy out of nowhere was a bit unexpected and nearly caught James off his guard. She backed him up across the cave before he started to fight back with as much vigor and effort as she. Their blades came together faster and faster, when suddenly Caitlin’s foot slipped on a wet rock and she fell to the ground. Normally, Hook would have let her get back up, but she was to good and he didn’t want his plan he’d devised ruined by his underestimating her.
Quickly, he twisted his sword around hers throwing it from her hand across the floor of the cave before she could get up again, holding the tip of his blade to her throat smiling evilly. “Well it looks like the day is mine my beauty.” Gently putting the flat of his sword against her chin as he stood her up, her eyes looking at him. He could tell by the look in her eyes that she thought this was a completely unfair judgment.
“I want a rematch.” She demanded looking at him her hands up where he could see them. The fire in her eyes was amazing, and drew his attentions and his heart to her immediately, feeling a fire burning deep inside. The flush to her cheeks cheated her telling her secret.
“Perhaps another time my beauty, but I have every intention of claiming my prize for my victory. Now, if you would be so kind my dear.” He said moving the flat of his sword against her neck pulling her to him. Sighing, hating to lose, Caitlin kept the stubborn look on her face as she straitened her back and marched right up to him as he drew her closer with the weapon. He just grinned looking down into her eyes still holding the sword in his hand as if he was holding her prisoner.
“What is it that my Captain claims as his prize.” She said giving him an evil look. Lowering his sword from her as he wrapped his arm which held his hook around her pulling her against him looking down into her eyes. Hook tossed the sword away wrapping his other arm around her as well.
“You to trust me.” He whispered looking deep into her eyes, not being able to turn away. This was a side of her he’d never seen before, and it was perhaps the most arousing side he’d seen yet. He released her for a moment before spinning her about so her back was against him, wrapping his arms around her again holding her tight. “I think I might have stumbled onto something this night, and I also think, you know what it is.” He whispered into her ear, moving his hook up and pressing it against her skin at her neck.
Leaning his face against her head where he could whisper into her ear, “You feel a burning deep inside your body, and a warmth in your chest, and a yearning between your thighs.” He could feel her start to tense, and try to pull away from him as if she wanted to run. But he held her fast pulling her back to him, tightening his grip at her waist. “It is alright, don’t be frightened.” He whispered into her ear comforting her before he continued. “Just listen to my voice and close your eyes.” He could feel her body still tense and actually quiver slightly but he could also see her eyes closed as he directed.
He moved still holding the cold iron of his metal appendage to her chest wanting to keep those feelings that had been sparked warm and not cool for a moment. Slowly he took them down to the quilt they had been standing by sitting her down as he kneeled behind her. Still holding her as he would a hostage. James leaned down kissing the soft velvet skin of her neck, placing a few more gentle kisses down towards her shoulder. He moved his face back to rest against hers. He watched her chest rise and fall with deep labored breaths as he slid his hook across her chest, pushing the lace strap down over her soft shoulder before twisting his hook snapping it in half. Caitlin jumped breathing a little deeper still as he whispered into her ear, “Shhhhh it’s alright.” Slowly pulling his hook back across her chest to the other strap, removing it much in the same fashion as he did with the first.
Caitlin’s hand reached up suddenly grasping his hook to halt it’s movements, by pressing it hard into her chest. “James I can’t. Please . . . . . I can’t do this.” She whispered her eyes closed and her voice trembling.
“ I do not expect you to do anything but trust me Caitlin. That is all I ask. If you must keep your eyes closed I understand, but do not pull away from me.” He whispered putting the sword down off the quilt and out of the way, wrapping his arms about her waist holding her close. “Is it that much harder for you to trust me, then it was for me to trust you.” He asked just holding her still. “Caitlin . . . . I have been more patient with you then with any other in my life. I have been much kinder with a much gentler touch then I have ever possessed before. Your voice is like a symphony of music, you eyes are like two sapphires that were plucked out of the very heavens on the clearest of days, and your as beautiful as an Angel that escaped from the pearly gates. What is it you wish me to do. Continue to act as if we are bunk mates that were assigned the same quarters instead of a husband and wife?”
Caitlin’s eyes opened as she listened to his words. She wasn’t sure of what she wanted. She thought she wanted this but every time these moments of truth came, her insides seem to freeze like ice water was running through her veins. She couldn’t move and all her mind could do was think of how to get away. “James . . .” She started swallowing the lump in her throat, preparing to make her excuse only to find his hungry mouth caressing her trembling lips cutting off the rest of her sentence.
The warmth of his kiss seemed to make the ice water that ran in her veins start to melt as she could feel her body start to relax under his loving attentions. Pulling back after a moment he looked down into her face just holding her body in a firm and secure embrace, letting her know there was nothing to be afraid of. He kissed her cheek and whispered into her ear, “I need your help my beauty.” Reaching down he reached down bringing her hand to his hook, this being a request he’d given her twice before she reached up and unlocked it from it’s place removing it nervously putting it aside. Taking a nervous breath, she closed her eyes and slowly turned shivering from head to toe knowing she was completely unclothed now.
Reaching up carefully she placed her fingertips on his chest, finding the leather strap that crossed over his heart and followed it to the clasp. Once the contraption was loosened she pushed it off his shoulders and pulled it from his arm. All amazingly enough with her eyes closed, he wrapped his arms about her pulling her close against his chest as if to cover her form from the entire world and make her feel as if she wasn’t being stared at. Caitlin’s arms instantly went to encircle his body holding him tight to her in return. Leaning down he placed gentle caresses along the fine lines of her neck and shoulder. His one and only good hand slowly moving over her back caressing her soft supple body, letting his fingertips follow her spine up to the back of her neck.
Caitlin’s eyes opened slowly finding this to not be as scary as she’d imagined it would be. His strong arms about her body and the warmth of his skin against her, felt quite nice. Still nervous, she pulled back just enough to where she could see him. Slowly her eyes shifted moving up to her Captain’s handsome face. Another lump had found it’s way into her throat and she did her best to push it back down as one of her hands moved up to his face. She gently his cheek moving her thumb to brush over the lines that told of his experience and adventures that shaped both his body and his soul. Leaning forward slowly she placed a gentle kiss against his lips, closing her eyes once more savoring the feeling of his warmth against hers.
With the utmost care and compassion he laid her back down into the soft velvet quilt resting his bad arm to the back of her neck to serve as a pillow and make her as comfortable as possible. He lay to her side using his hand to brush her hair back away from her face as he had done so many times before. Letting his fingertips caress her skin down over her jaw line to her chin, tracing the elegant lines that made her beautiful neck so appealing to the eye, to her chest. His eyes wondered back up to her face wanting to watch his innocent brides reactions to his explorations. Slowly, he let two fingertips travel down over her firm breasts, tracing over the pink nipple that was finally open to touch. Caitlin breathed deeper, as her body started to tense again at the touch, but he leaned down and gently kissed her lips once more to let her know he was still there and everything was still safe.
James let his fingertips slide down her body over her skin, exploring the length of her side and down to her hip resting there making gentle circles for a few moments. Leaning down over her body he placed a tender kiss at the nape of her neck, letting it linger for a second then moving a little lower placing yet another gentle kiss on her soft skin. He moved back up looking down into her eyes, they were beyond permission. He knew what she was thinking, he knew her fears; but even stronger then that, he knew her desires and her needs.
“You gave already taught me what it is to truly love, Caitlin . . .” He whispered running his fingertips over her skin, resting on her hip once more. A woman’s hips, the center of all that differentiates woman from man. The curve and the softness of her flesh. He leaned down taking the skin of her breast between his teeth, he suckled gently, tasting her. Caitlin nearly cried out at the feeling this sent coursing through her body. Felling this reaction he lifted his head from her chest looking down at her, “You have been waiting for a long time, for the man that would come along and make you the woman have dreamed to be.”
He lay down beside her, pulling her against him. Skin on skin feeling each others warmth and heartbeat deep within. Kissing her as softly as his growing need allowed; trying to temper his hunger with compassion. Even with this, he still found himself grasping her desperately wanting to own every part of her.
Words failed Caitlin. All that was left where feelings, hers and his all entwined together. He was so much stronger then she was, made so by his fighting abilities and the daily practice living in this place afforded him. She found herself wanting to give him more, to give him everything there was to give. The feel of his skin, and the touch of his hand, the warmth of his breath, all of it sent chills through her creating volumes of over whelming desires.
Tears began to run down her cheeks as she returned his kiss, and then kissed him back once more. Crying was not something she could ever remember doing very much before she came to this place. But it seemed that it had happened quite a bit in the past few weeks, mostly against her will. There was something about James, something that brought out the deepest most secret parts of her soul, things that she’d buried deep down for no one to find, for no one to use against her and hurt her with. She couldn’t understand how he affected her this way. Reaching up she slowly ran her fingers though his hair, feeling the warmth of his body against hers.
Hook lifted his head and looked down to her face, smiling softly. He kissed her tears away. No need to cry; no sadness now. Just discovery. Hidden secrets they both possessed, and shared pains; trying to prove their elusive invulnerability to the world. There were no secrets between them now, for they did not matter. That had been proved many times over in the past few days.
Caitlin just lay still as she could feel him shift and move and lay over her. Her eyes still closed tightly, she could feel his hand part her thighs and lay across her once again and guiding her leg to wrap around his waist. His bad arm moved behind her neck once more as he looked down into her face, pausing for a moment before whispering, “Look at me Caitlin.” He waited a moment before reaching up with is good hand tenderly caressing her face, “Please let me see your beautiful eyes.” Caitlin took a few deep breaths before looking up into her husband’s eyes.
He smiled as it seemed that she was finally giving herself over to trusting him. He reached down between them guiding himself to her most secretive of places, brushing against her gently at first. Her body tensed beneath him a bit, a reaction that he could easily understand. Wrapping his arms around her again, as he pushed into her tight velvet body. She gasped her eyes going wide, yet they stayed on James, trusting him with all of her heart as her breathing became slightly erratic. He continued to push himself into her slowly, carefully. More then a tight fit as she’d never been touched before, the feeling was pure bliss as her body swallowed each inch, yet he stayed mindful of how it effected her.
Her eyes closed slowly, as her breath seemed to come to a stop and her chest held fast. Finally after what seemed an agonizing eternity he came to rest inside of her, holding her tight against his chest letting her body become accustomed to him. Looking down at her angelic face, he kissed her cheek still holding her close. She still hadn’t started to breathe and he took fast noticed of the absence of her breath on his face. He looked down at her a moment and kissed her once more, but still to no avail did she regain her breath. Caressing and kissing her neck and shoulders he moved his mouth to her ear, caressing the edges slowly with his lips as he began to whisper in her ear doing his best to comfort her.
His words were like music somehow, a gentle tenderness in them that made her body relax beneath him and once more take in air with deep labored breaths, yet at the same time she found every part of her crying out for his touch. He smiled and returned to her lips kissing her once more, as he slowly started to move with in her. Her body would not so easily or quickly submit to his taking her, but he wanted to love her. He pushed himself deep within her, feeling the resistance, until finally her virginity gave way. She cried out into his mouth at the pain that flooded her body keeping her eyes closed tight. He held her close wanting her to know that he did care about her, cooing and whispering softly to her to give her comfort and reassurance. She gasped again as he thrust himself deep within her once more, consuming her mouth greedily. Her hands caressed his shoulders holding him just as close to her body as she kissed him back, returning each of his affections as it felt as if her body was being ravaged.
His own pleasures where growing quickly, as he thrust inside of her quivering warmth once more, his arms and hands holding her body fast to his. Feeling his release near already, as he’d suffered not being able to touch her for what seemed an eternity, he grit his teeth slightly to hold back a few more moments. Her body seemed to start to relax in his arms, the very thing he’d been waiting for. He moved a few more times, before thrusting himself completely into her warm velvet womanhood, a cry of pure pleasure escaping him as he filled her with his seed. He pulled her to his chest, as she held tight to him, before he collapsed beside her breathing deeply. Sweeping her into his arms he kissed her passionately, before placing a trail of tender and gentle kisses over her face.
Caitlin’s body lay against him shivering a bit, but found a comfort and safety in his arms. Hook just held her against him running his hand through her hair, finally their marriage had been consummated, nearly six weeks after their wedding. He moved her head to rest against his chest as they lay together on the quilt, not saying anything and both falling into sleep.
