Richard awoke on the floor of his home groaning as he shook from the freezing cold that came from inside his body. His eyes blinked open to see Jason sitting on the floor near him, tear tracks along his face even as his hair was ruffled by the heater sitting near them to keep them warm. Richard swallowed and winced as his throat seemed to have been sliced in tiny cuts all the way down.
"Jason?"
Jason turned his eyes to Richard and in a horse voice spoke. "She's dead..Anita's dead.. She.. somehow she ...." Jason had to stop before swallowing and trying again. "Everyone else is alive...she kept everyone safe but she's gone...She broke all the marks with everyone just before she died.."
Jason began to cry again as Richard just watched him in shock, he sat up and pushed his power into his body to search for Anita, any sign of her, and found nothing... not even the marks to the Vampire.. everything Anita had built between her and the men in her life, all ties, were simply gone. Richard's fist plowed into the floor then the other until the only sound was the thuds of his fists.

Within hours every animal group, and vampire in the city knew of Anita's death what none of them did know yet was how. She had gone in the middle of the day without warning to a crime scene out of town, a call on a suspious murder, and never come home. News reports showed that something had gone horibly wrong and the entire building had been blown to bits not even ten minutes after Anita on camra had gone into the building. After the first explosion three more had gone off until absolutly nothing was left but bits of rock. metal, and a few body parts that they were not even able to identify yet.
The news sent the entire comunity into a sort of shocked silence as the leaders sat under the Circus and just soaked in the information. They all knew they would have to quickly rebuild some sort of power structure before some one attacked, but none of them were really up for it just yet.
