BELLA POV

My first day at Forks High school. It's not so bad, It's kinda nice, actually. If you take away the cold, the rain, and the people staring at me...Obviously this town is small enough that a new student would stir up some drama. I wish i could just be invisible, i hate all this attention...I miss my friends back in Phoenix. My mom and Phil. The heat. I guess i can make the best of this...suddenly a tall boy with blonde hair and a baby face pulled me out of my thoughts. "Hi!! You're the new girl, Isabella!" I nodded and corrected him. "Bella."
Oh, Well hey Bella, I am Mike!! I heard you moved here from Arizona. Some change eh?" I smiled and nodded my head again. We started comparing our schedules and the bell rang for lunch. I made my way into the cafeteria with Mike, and we sat at a table with a group of people i figured were Mikes friends. I was introduced to Eric, Jessica, Ben, Angela, and Tyler. They were all pretty cool. Angela and I were talking about plans for the night, when i got this odd feeling like someone was watching me. I turned around to see a table of 5 of the most gorgeous people on the planet. Jessica noticed where i was looking and said "Those are the Cullen's." I couldn't make out much of a coherent sentence, and mumbled, "they are beautiful!" Jessica agreed with a little to much effort. and said "The blonde girl is Rosalie, and the big brown haired guy next to her is Emmett. They're a couple. The one with the short spiky brown hair is Alice, And she's with the guy with the blonde curls, Jasper. And that blonde haired god, is Edward Cullen. she sighed a dreamy sigh and mumbled something dirty, that i pretended not to hear. then snapped out of it. "They are all really weird. They think they are to good to talk to anyone here of course."
I smiled at Jessica, but stared at the Cullen's...Look at them, they're so beautiful. They all looked perfect together. Jasper especially. He looked so deep in thought, i couldn't help but giggle. Then Jessica said "Edward Cullen is staring at you". He was. Beautiful deep golden eyes looking at me. I cleared my throat and mouthed a "hello" to him. He smiled back at me, and turned back to his family. I have to get to know Edward Cullen.

EDWARD POV

Alice spent the entire night singing the star spangled banner in her head. She was trying to keep me out of her thoughts, and it was annoying me. As we all got to school, Jasper perked up. Smiling. I tuned into the students minds nearby. All they were thinking about was a new girl in school. They called this human Bella. I tuned into one student named Mikes thoughts, and they were not very pleasant. I picked up a couple fantasies of him and the new girl fucking in various places. But was disgusted and tuned out. Obviously Jasper is feeling every ones excitement today. She looked like a typical everyday girl. Not gorgeous at all. Long brown hair, pale, brown eyes that seemed so easy to read. Wait...brown eyes? Pale skin? Long brown hair? I looked at Alice and she was wearing the biggest shit-eating grin i have ever seen on her face. And spoke up. "so today is the big day. Let's go guys." No one else obviously aware of what Alice was talking about except for me and jasper. Emmett followed slowly behind, grabbing Rose's ass, and asking "what day? today's going to be big? why? whats going on you guys never tell me anything!!" I smiled as we went our separate ways to class. So i was going to fall in love with this Human, Bella? That will complicate our lives, that's for sure.

Lunch time rolled around for the humans, and we all gathered at our table by the window. Everything was the same. But this girl was in the thoughts of everyone today. It was honestly getting very annoying. How was i going to fall in love with a girl that was beginning to fucking annoy me and i haven't even seen her myself yet? Alice pulled me out of my thoughts, with hers. "EDWARD" she thought loudly. "LOOK AT THAT TABLE BEHIND US"
I turned slowly to face the table that Jessica Stanley sat at. Oh god Jessica Stanly. That girl has the most terrifying fantasies of me. Constantly. Once i caught her in the middle of a fantasy with me peeing on her. I shook my head. But it haunted me for months. Then i saw what Alice wanted me to see. The brown haired girl. Sitting next to Jessica and Angela. Smiling and talking. Unexpectedly turned and looked directly at me. She hesitated for a moment, and smiled and mouthed hello. I felt renewed. I smiled back, and turned to my family. I looked at Alice and she smiled back at me. She drifted into a vision, of myself walking into a classroom. with Bella right behind me. Good. I have a chance to get to know this human.

as i walked to my next class, i could hear Bella's steps all the way down the hallway, almost too slow, even for a human. I sat down in my seat, of course I didn’t sit with anyone else. Humans wouldn’t dare sit near me. This poor girl Bella, was unlucky. To be mated to a vampire and not even know it yet. It almost seems like a sick joke. How could I love a human when they are supposed to be food for monsters of our kind? It would put my family danger, it would put Bella in danger. Is this a good idea? How the fuck could I love a human? I looked up in time to see her walk in and scan the room. Her eyes locked on mine and she took a deep breath. Mr. Banner handed her a worksheet, and told her to have a seat. Her eyes locked on mine as the fan behind her blew her scent in my direction.

Whatever restraint I had was lost.

I could taste her, I could feel her scent on my face and I wanted nothing more in that moment to suck her blood dry. I was immediately hard, thinking about her. I wanted to kill her. I wanted to take her on this table right here. Fuck her and drink her blood. God I wanted Bella. The monster inside me watched in delight as she walked slowly over to my table. Poor girl. It’s such a shame I have to kill her. She sat down and looked at me with a smile, which was quickly gone, and she stuttered, and turned away to the front of the class. You scared her Edward. Oh well, she will be disposed of later after I take her into an empty hallway, or in a closet. Tease her, make her think you want her. Get her alone, run your fingers up her skirt and touch her warmth. Bite her as you shove your fingers inside her, drain her blood, she’d never know what hit her before it was too late. She means nothing.
NO. I screamed inside. I will NOT act on this. NO. I will not hurt this innocent human girl. My mate….I’m supposed to love her. Alice saw the girl and I together, she didn’t see me ripping the girls head off so I calmed down. What would Alice see now. I hope she’s not worried. If I hurt this Bella girl, it would cause more damage than it would cause to love her. My family would have to move again. Rose would tear me limb from limb. Literally. By the time I had calmed down, The bell rang, Bella was up and running out the door. I had to make it up to her. I could be ruining my chance to be with this human. This beautiful Bella.

BELLA POV.

I bolted out the door. I could not get out of there fast enough, What I did to make him LOOK at me that way. It was like I killed his family or something. He glared at me with such hate I thought I was going to burst into flames. I have never wanted to just disappear so much in my life…OW.
I collided into a boy as I ran through the hall. I fell down on my ass and was so embarrassed. He held his hand out for me, I gratefully took it noticing he was kind of cold. “Excuse me miss” he said “Sorry to get in your way!” he said jokingly. I smiled. “The names Jasper. Jasper Hale.” Oh yes, he was one of the beautiful family members I saw at lunch. I panicked. I hope he isn’t like his brother…I don’t need more people hating me. He looked at me funny and asked me why I looked nervous. I brushed it off and asked him if he’d walk to me my next class which he kindly said he would. When we got to my classroom, I stood awkwardly at the door and smiled up at him. Right as I was going to say goodbye, someone from across the hallway aimlessly threw a wad of gum, which of course, landed in my hair. I went to pull it out, but Jasper beat me too it, as he lifted his hand up and his fingers brushed upwards over the thin layer of clothing that covered my nipple. I took sharp breath in and he pulled his hand back fast and sheepishly apologized. I pulled the gum out and stuck it to a locker next to me. Said goodbye and went into class. God…I wanted him to touch me again. But this time, on purpose…
