Night engulfed the campsite of the small Narnian force. A fire was going, but most of the men were asleep. Most, accept for those that were watching the sparring match between the two kings.
"You've gotten slow in your old age," Edmund teased. "No wonder you couldn't beat Jadis," he grunted.
"One, I'm only 22," he started and lashed out, and two," he grunted, blocking an attack, "I'm surprised that you kept up your sword play!"
"Yeah, like you could ever be apart of a fencing club, Mr. Bookworm!" Edmund grunted, but was quickly knocked on his arse to his shock.
"What was that about me being a bookworm?" Peter joked. Edmund got back to one knee and breathed hard.
"Ok, so your blade isn't as rusty as I thought," Edmund replied.
"You got out all that pent up aggression?"
"Yeah, now I need to get out my pent up fatigue," Edmund replied.
"Ok, go get some sleep," Peter said and Edmund left. Peter turned to the glowing, catlike eyes that were in the dark and approached their owner.
"You were correct in allowing your brother to spar with you. His anger would have clouded his mind."
"Aslan, I understand all about redemption and the fact that what you were able to put Jadis through has reduced her to a child, but why me? If you needed a girl, Jill could have been the one to..."
"True enough, but you aren't as intimidated by her as Jill is."
"Then bring Lucy...."
"Lucy is doing a task for me in your world."
"If I may ask, what is she doing?"
"Lucy is bringing the wayward one back to us."
"Wayward...Susan," Peter said and Aslan nodded.
"Like Jadis before, the only way now to drive Tash and the Calormens from these lands for good is for the four of you to be here, protecting the lands."
"I see, but Susan..."
"Susan is hiding a secret pain that Lucy will bring out into the light of day."
"Will she be able..."
"Do not concern yourself with how Lucy will come back. I shall handle that matter personally."
"Tash is a demon...can a demon be destroyed?"
"Not by mortal hands. He can be beaten back, but not destroyed by a mortal."
"So that means..."
"Yes. Tash and I must, one day, do battle."
Peter then caught, out of the corner of his eye, another pair of catlike eyes. He was about to investigate, but Aslan stopped him.
"He is not here for anyone but me," Aslan replied. "Go, sleep," he commanded and left. Peter, knowing arguing with the lion would get him nothing, went to go to bed himself.

A white, powerful saber tooth tiger waited. the moonlight making his appearance almost ghostly. His massive head turned to see the other cat.
"Your father has sent me. He wishes to speak with you about your choice of handling the current situation. He isn't happy that you didn't do what you originally intended."
"I believe my father knows..."
"He knows, but you must explain your actions to him." the white tiger finished and vanished in a twinkling of an eye. Aslan follows suit as well.

The older girl, that was standing before her was frustrating Lucy to no ends. Lucy thought that Aslan had wanted her to pound her fist against a brick wall, in fact, she wished the lion had ordered her to do that very thing for that would have done her more good than having to talk to Susan.
Stealing herself for what she had to say next, she said, "I know why you have become what you have. I know why you try to make yourself pretty unnecessarily so that boys will pay more attention to you when you and I both know you don't need to do so. You don't need any help in getting the attention of the opposite gender."
Lucy continued, not allowing her sister to reply, "You are acting this way because it couldn't work between you and Prince Caspian."
"Don't you..." Susan began, her face as purple as a grape.
"I'm right aren't I? You have turned your back on Narnia because you felt like you were given the shaft by fate? That is no reason to turn your back on somewhere..."
"Quiet you! Do you think I want to go back? Do you think I want to remember what I couldn't have>?!" Susan cried.
"Do you think Caspian would want you acting like this?" Lucy asked and Susan bit her lip.
"Why would two people meet like that and be...and be..." Susan then broke down and cried.
"Susan," Lucy let out quietly and hugged her sobbing sister. "I know it hurts, but Narnia needs all four of us. Peter and Edmund are already there. We need to be there too...you need to believe again," she encouraged.
"He wouldn't want me behaving like this now would he? He wouldn't want a sobbing Queen now would he?"
"I think not," Lucy replied.
"Help me Lucy, help me to get back, she asked desperately.
"You took the first painful step...the rest, we'll take together."

He stood before a bright, white ball of light. The lion stood there, waiting for it to speak.
"Things have not gone as they were supposed to," the voice boomed.
"Tash knew what was to come and changed his plans accordingly," Aslan replied.
"Can she be truly turned?"
"Her land wasn't like it was before it was destroyed," Aslan replied.
"This is true, but is there too much evil within her?"
"She has been reduced to a child."
"Yes, but the rest of the Narnians might not accept their High King doing what you've tasked him to do."
"In the end, they will understand," Aslan replied.

Tash looked upon Rishda, the tarkaan that had lead the Calormens into Narnia.
"Forgive me, my lord Tash, I...."
"What has happened could not be prevented. Now step forward!" the demon demanded and Rishda did so.
I now name you Tisroc...you will use this to enforce your position," Tash said and a scimitar appeared in his hand. The blade was the most impressive, most demonic scimitar ever seen.
"My lord," Rishda let out.
"That is the scimitar of Tash. With it, not only will you be able to kill your enemies, but you will be able to destroy their souls as well."
"I hear and obey."
"Narnia must not just be conquered, it must be destroyed."
"Yes, yes! I shall burn Narnia to the ground!" Rishda proclaimed and Tash let out a horrid laugh.
