"Why are we dropping two miles outside the city?" Eustace complained.
"The Calormenes will just use fire arrows to burn our ships," Caspian explained.
Eustace sighed, "I just didn't want to march before I fought my way through Tashbaan."

"Where are they?" Rishda asked himself.
"They are attacking the city wall!" someone shouted.
"What!? Those dogs! head for the city walls!"
888
The Narnian archers set fire to the city wall, giving the rest of the army an easy time in getting through the city's defenses. Once the Narnian army was inside the city, blades crashed and clanged.
"You will fall this day!" Rishda shouted.
"No, we are on Tash's land. you are at risk of falling here today," Peter grunted as he tried to drive the Tisroc to Tash's temple.
888
"Kill the Tarkheena!" a shoulder shouted.
"Not today!" Edmund shouted.
"You just had to piss my husband off didn't you?" Shazarraah hissed.
888
The temple was empty, save fore one demonic creature and Aslan. The stood their patiently, waiting on their chosen. Rishda and Peter exploded into the temple, their swords banging loudly against each other.
"Do you think your weak little chosen one can beat mine?"
"Rishda stands no chance, demon," Aslan proclaimed.
"Kill the lion!" Azaroth and Zardeenah both shouted. They crashed into a wall of ice.
"You cannot kill him, believe you me, I've already tried such a feat," Jadis said.
"Kill the witch!" Tash shouted.
"Your lesser gods don't seem to be so godlike, Tash," Aslan quipped.
"If your father hadn't done what he did I would have killed you a long time ago!" Tash ranted.
888
Archers, ready your arrows!" Susan called The Narnian archers did so, their arrow heads ablaze with fire. Susan gave the order and the arrows impacted the top of the temple.
888
"Your end is near, Tash," Aslan proclaimed.
'No, they are burning my temple down!' Tash thought.
"You are losing it, Rishda, now, give up!" Peter shouted.
"Never," Rishda gasped out.
Peter went for a death blow. Tash, seeing his chances slipping away, lunged and blocked the strike.
"Foolish Son of Adam, I shant let you kill my chosen so easily!" he shouted and a blast of dark power sent the high king flying. He crashed, boneless, against the wall.
"No!" Jadis shouted, thinking that her king was dead. Her powers became oppressive and for once in their lives, Zardeenah and Azaroth were afraid.
"Fool," Aslan growled.
"Do you think I fear your father? He isn't here, you fool!" Tash shouted.
Jadis, in a great burst of magical power, killed Azaroth and Zardeenah. She fell to one knee in exhaustion. Tash grinned sinisterly.
"Foolish witch, what I brought back into this world, I can destroy!" he shouted and attacked, but a sword pierced into him.
"When you kill someone, make sure that they are dead before turning your back on them," Peter growled, now standing back on his feet.
"Impossible! That should have killed you!" Tash shouted.
"That sword protects him from your evil magic," Aslan informed. Tash glowered at Peter.
"These are my lands! I shant have them taken by those who worship a lion!" Tash shouted.
"Surrender High King Peter, or her throat will be exposed to daylight," Rishda, who had gotten back to his feet, said, pressing his scimitar to Jadis's throat.
"Rishda, you are an ass," Aslan said.
"No need to insult me, demonic lion, I..." Rishda said but started making the sounds of a donkey.
"Like prince Rabadash, you too shall live the rest of your life as the thing you are, an ass."
"What!? You interfered!" Tash shouted.
"He didn't turn him into an ass, I did," the orb of light said from above all who were in the crumbling temple.
"You," Tash hissed.
"You now come to the end of your existence, Tash. Now, only good shall reigns over the Calormen Empire," the light said.
"I will not be so easily defeated!" Tash shouted, but a lance of light hit the evil being, breaking Tash up into thousands of parts. His bones then turned to dust and a wind blew that dust away. Peter rushed over to Jadis and held her.
"Peter, you must flee from this place. Your sister's assault on this temple is about to come to an end," Aslan advised.
"Right," Peter said and helped the witch to her feet and the two left.
888
A loud cry of triumphant came out from the Narnian army after the temple fell in a heap of burning rubble. Seeing their god's house of worship destroyed, the Calormene army surrendered unconditionally.
888
"By Calormen law, I hereby pronounce you Queen of the Calormen Empire, Shazarraah. By Marriage, Edmund, Son of Adam, king of Narnia, I name you Emperor of the Calormen Empire. May you and your children carry that title forever," Aslan proclaimed. A loud cheer came from the Narnians and the suppressed citizens of Tashbaan.
"Well, my queen, where shall we rule from?" Edmund asked.
"I hate this city. We'll rule from Cair Paravel," Shazarraah said and Edmund nodded.
"Wouldn't it be better," Peter began but Edmund stopped his brother.
"Peter, remember this rule of thumb when you get married, happy wife, happy life," he said with a smirk and Peter chuckled.
888
"Will I be taken back to your lands?" Caspian asked.
"No. I shall not be the one to break up something good. You may marry Queen Susan," Aslan said, giving his blessing.
"Thank you, Aslan," Caspian said, gratefully.
"My lord, then is it time for me to return then?" Reepicheep asked.
"You, you will stay here until you are an old, greying mouse who cannot talk anymore because he wore out his voice in his youth," Aslan said with a toothy smile and Caspian chuckled behind his hand.
888
The Calormenes, who were now Narnians, gave a grand send off for the Narnian army. They cheered the loudest for their new queen and emperor. No more would the ruler of the Calormenes would be revered like a god. Next, the marriage of the high king and the end of this adventure.
