I totally forgot about this fic - thanks for the nice comments and I hope you are still around to read the next chapter.
The afternoon light flooded the bedroom through the picture window, and gilded the two bodies entwined on the bed, one all silver and white, the other varied shades of brown. It was the glorious sunlight that awakened Will, burning through the closed lids of his eyes, he woke to the sensation of warm flesh pressed against his naked body, memory rushed in, and a slightly bemused and very satisfied smile curled his lips as he opened his eyes to see tawny eyes gazing lovingly at him.
As he watched Will awaken, Bran smiled lovingly at his Dewin, the young man who had changed his lonely childhood, bought him into his powerfull heritage, and now was his lover and love. There were so many memories that began and ended with Will, it was almost invitable that they would come to this point, he almost chuckled, before Will had told him he was gay he had been so scared that Will would reject him, not only as a potential lover but as a friend. Of course he hadn't known on that day just who they both were, the friendship had been safe if for no other reason than Will knowing who he really was, but no that was being unfair, he had only summoned up the courage to tell Will because he had known deep inside that even if Will were not himself gay he still would understand and care, their friendship was a true friendship, a real and deep attachment that their sexuality did not impinge upon. He had had time to think whilst watching Will sleep, and time to remember, time to allow that new/old part of himself, the Pendragon to once more settle into his persona, and he had some ideas already that might well shock his conservative Dewin.
"Well Cariad, now that you are finally awake what am I to do with you?" he asked.
"More of the same please" chuckled Will. He received a slap on his bottom in reward for this quip.
"Ahh Will, there will be plenty of lovemaking my Dewin, but there needs to be some talking too, Bran Davies was going to be a vet and Will Stanton a history teacher, quite probably an obscure old gay couple living quiet lives, with one of them having a great many secrets, now there is Bran ap Arthur the Pendragon and his Dewin Mate, things love have changed and we need to talk about them"
Will hesitated, it was a drastic change from sleepy contentment to having to think about a future he had never gone beyond wistfull daydreaming about, he had never really considered what having his Prince back would really entail. Bran Davies was a young man with a bright intelligence who was more comfortable around animals than people, was reserved and arrogant, a loner mostly due to the isolation his Albino skin had wrought amoung the people of his home. Bran ap Arthur was a different creature entirely, well the arrogance was still there as was the intelligence, but the arrogance was that a Prince secure in his power, a being more brilliant than any in the world today, he was born to rule, yes things were going to change, the quiet obscure life they had both planned would not suit Bran Pendragon.
"I guess we had better get dressed, I don't think I could concetrate on this conversation with you naked in my bed my Lord" he replied with a grin as he felt the exciment of a new a different life beconning on the horizon "come on love, I think we need clothes and tea, I have a feeling you are going to want to conquer the world".
Bran laughed, "Not quite my Dewin, but I already have a few idea's" he kissed Will and then leapt out of the bed, "come on then, I'm parched for a cup of tea".
