The Arrival

The bus ride was long, not long in the sense of time, but long in that it seemed to take forever. Alice was all jumpy to see her family and it made me more depressed, she can see hers and I can't see mine. Oh how life was not fair, I wish I had something to put me out of my agony. I started to focus out the window and watch as the city left and was replaced by tones of white and brown, white ground white trees white everything, oh how I hated snow. It covered up everything and made it look dead and boring. Oh this is going to be a long vacation. I started to think of ways I could get out of this and leave early, maybe I could say Charlie is having a hard time and begged me to come see him, or my grandparents are not doing to good and I want to be with them; as I pondered my different escapes from my forced vacation, I herd Alice shriek at the top of her lungs.
"What! What is the matter, are you ok, "I was so confused
"Yes, sorry I am just so happy, my boyfriend and his sister, who is actually dating my older brother are going to be spending their vacation with us as well, he just texed me and confirmed it."
She looked so happy I suppressed a grown, Jasper was her boyfriend and he was really nice. I always thought him and her were perfect for each other, but his sister is a different story. I only meet her a couple of times and I knew she hated me. She was one of those people who knew they were beautiful and rubbed it in everyones face. But the reason she hated me was because I accidentally hooked up with her best friends man and I didn't know it, we both were really drunk and in the morning he was gone, I never saw him again. However he felt so guilty and told his girlfriend what he did and told her he did it with me. As far as I know there still together but Rosalie or Rose as they call her, always had something negative to say about me from that point on, I don't know why she felt it her job to remind me of my discretion every time I saw her, but she did. This was defiantly going to be a long vacation.
We arrived at the bus stop and gathered our luggage. We walked out to the front pick up and saw her parents and big brother their to greet us. They all hugged Alice and turned to me,
"Hello Bella, my name is Esme I am Alice's mother, and this is Carlisle her father, we are so happy you are here and were able to spend the holidays with us, " she gave me a big hug and he shook my hand, "Thank you I am happy to be here,"I said then her big, and I mean big brother walked over to us with his muscles pulling his shirt tightly around his figure, came over to me to grab my bags,
"Hi, I am Emmet, Alice's big brother, I hope you enjoy yourself, we are going to have so much fun," he said, "Thank you, I think I will" even though I knew I wouldn't. We got to the car and put the luggage in the trunk and got in the car. Everyone talked and asked questions planning their activities for the break. Every now and then they asked me things and I answered, but my mind was somewhere else, still planning my escape and preparing for Rose's arrival.
The house was huge and gorgeous, it was deep in the woods and had a nice yard that went right to the frozen lake behind it, it was like no log cabin I had ever seen, I stood staring at it with my mouth opened. "Take a picture it last longer," I heard the husky voice of Emmit say. I blushed thinking I must have looked like an idiot. Alice came to my side and grabbed my waist, "this is our winter and summer home, we all love it so much, and my mother designed it all by herself."Alice said with a giggle as she saw the shock cross my face. "Do you like it, it took a while, but it has everything we need. "Esme said, I was still speechless, when I was finally able to speak I told her she was a master and that the house was amazing.
The inside was even more beautiful then the outside, the Christmas decorations made it look like a catalog photo. "Bella, honey, I don't have the three guest rooms ready yet so you can put your things in Edward's room for tonight, he wont be home till tomorrow any way, his room is the third door from the left at the top of the stairs." told me, "Thank you, I think I am going to go to bed early, I am very tired and my body needs rest from my crunching in study time for my exams."I just wanted to be alone really, I wasn't tired yet, "Ok honey, goodnight we will see you in the morning, and Bella, we are so glad you're here." Esme said "Thank you and goodnight everyone." I half ran up the stairs almost tripping and burst into the room. I put my stuff down and took my PJs out. Once ready for bed I laid down and could not fall asleep, there was so much going on in my head, it felt like I had only been laying down for 20 minuets when I looked at the clock and it said 2 am. Ugh. I had been laying here for four hours. So I closed my eyes hoping that would help.
The door started to open and I pulled the covers up, I was scared, who would be coming into my room, I knew everyone else was asleep. The door swung open and a something landed on the bed I jolted up and screamed. The gentleman in the dark started to yell too. All of a sudden the hall light came on and Alice and Emmit were in the door way followed by Esme and Carlisle. The room light came on and I could tell it was Alice's other brother.

Please review, this is my first attempt and I want to see how you guys and gals all like it. Sorry if there are spelling mistakes and things I will work on them. Please, Please Review, more chapters are coming
