Chapter Three: Kagami
The final wife of the Emperor was named Kagami, and it suited her, for she was very vain and spent a lot of time looking at herself in the mirror. She was also pregnant with the Heir to the throne, but it was decided that upon her death, the pregnancy would be lost and the former heir would reclaim his title.
It was on this day that Kagami had gone down to the hot spring in the Shishiya forest, and was relaxing in the hot water when a man, Gembu, walked into the water, a blade concealed in a towel. He stepped into the water and started to use a bucket to dump water all over himself. Kagami was looking at some of the gardens in the distance, completely unaware of what was happening when one of her maidens called to her and she got out of the water, leaving Gembu behind. He couldn’t kill her if she was being expected, as it wouldn’t leave him enough time to get away.
That afternoon, Kagami and her maids were walking back from Shishiya forest when a man appeared on the road and stopped them. This man was Hitoha, one of the Shadow Ninja.
“Greetings Lady Kagami,” he called.
“How do you know my name?” she asked.
“I am a fortune teller, and I am here to tell you things about your future, my most beautiful Lady.” He said, bowing before her.
“Very well,” said the vain Kagami.
“Let me see,” Hitoha said, looking at her. “I can foresee that you are pregnant, and you carry the heir to the land. But I can also see your life in great danger. A man is trying to kill you,” he said in a somewhat whispery voice.
“The man at the spring,” Kagami exclaimed.
“Indeed. You must come with me, for I can see the only place where you will be safe.” Hitoha extended his hand in offering, but before he could take her hand and bewitch her, Gembu stepped out form the trees.
“No, this fortune teller seeks to humiliate you.” Everyone looked at Gembu. “You must return to your husband where you will be protected.”
“I do not think so,” Hitoha said. “You will need to get past me.” He stepped between Gembu and Kagami.
“It’ll be my pleasure,” Gembu said, drawing his sword.
“Catch me if you can,” Hitoha said, and in a blur he ran into the forest, Gembu right behind him. Using this moment of opportunity, Kagami and her maids ran for the capital.
Deep in the forest, Hitoha stopped in an open patch of forest and drew his sword in time to block a strike from Gembu. The two men attacked each other, but Hitoha was faster, and he eventually had Gembu disarmed at knifepoint. There was a slight hesitation between them.
“What are you waiting for?” Gembu asked.
“I want you to say my name in lust,” Hitoha answered.
“Forget it.” Gembu answered. He kicked the blade away and went to punch Hitoha, but he pushed Gembu aside and then extended his hand to one side. From the ground grew a small tree that had the physical appearance of a man. The head, chest and limbs were obvious in its design.
“I’ll get what I want through the mystical powers of the Shadow Ninja Tricks. This one is the Dick Stick.” Hitoha turned his attention back to the tree and Gembu was tricked into looking as well. An image of Hitoha appeared in the tree and another limb grew. It was unlike the rest of the tree in that it was polished wood, long and hard, a perfect representation of a dick, just longer than normal. Gembu fell under the spell and ran to the tree, dropped his pants and lined his arse up with the would-be cock. He eased himself onto it, his mind all the while thinking it was Hitoha. When he started to ride the tree, he snapped out of it, but too late, for he was trapped under the trees need to give pleasure.
“You will die of ecstasy,” Hitoha said, coming close to Gembu. He stood too close and Gembu pulled Hitoha in and kissed him.

That night, there was a fire in the palace, and there was a large rush to get the Emperor and his Lady out. Kagami was loaded into a small palanquin and carried off. But it was all a trick, as the men carrying the palanquin were Kage’s minions.
Seeing the trick, Sho was loaded into a similar palanquin and carried by four men from the Palace. They intercepted the palanquin with Kagami in it and Sho used a ninja trick to swap places with her. Kagami was taken to a safe house with Shiki in pursuit. Upon her arrival, Shiki disguised himself as a male servant and offered tea. Kagami graciously accepted and drank it down quickly. Shiki had, however, slipped a most potent poison into it and Kagami fell to her side, dead.
Not wasting time, Shiki changed back into his ninja gear and went after Sho.
Sho, in the meantime, had been delivered to the Kage base where Seiryu with his few remaining minions awaited.
“Lady Kagami, it is time to come out. Your future waits.” There was no reply from the Palanquin. Seiryu ripped the curtains open and looked in, but there was no one there.
“Looking for me?” Sho asked from the nearby gate, sword drawn.
“No, but I guess I can take my frustration out on you,” Seiryu answered. “You Imperial Ninja have cost us enough aggravation.” He drew his sword and all the others did the same.
“Please,” Sho said. “Attack me from any direction you choose, I will cut you all down.” He stepped into what was now a ring of enemies around him. Each one tried to attack but Sho saw them all coming and disarmed them and sliced them apart with his sword. Finally, the last one fell and Sho turned to face Seiryu.
“Impressive.” Seiryu said. “Let’s see you get out of this, for no blade will help.” He extended his hands and a stream of ribbons flew out, entwining themselves around Sho and holding him fast. They began to constrict, crushing in on his body. “This is the brightest of the Shadow Tricks, the Rainbow Ride to Hell.”
While Sho struggled with the entangling ribbons, Ken came out of the base and saw the struggle going on.
“Interesting,” Ken said. “But you called for me.”
“Yes, go and assassinate Jyubei, for it will be the price the Imperial Ninja pay.” Seiryu looked over his shoulder at Ken, who bowed with an evil smile.
“It shall be done,” Ken answered, and he turned and ran off into the night.
“Had enough?” Seiryu asked Sho. “All you need to do is die,”
“Not… likely,” Sho gasped. He seemed to glow for a moment and then jumped into the air, the ribbons falling away. When Sho landed, it was clear he had to surrender his clothing in order to escape, and now just stood in his underwear. “Now it’s my turn. Imperial Ninja trick, the Material Balls.” Seiryu looked Sho over and noticed that the bulge of his dick seemed to be glowing somewhat. While he was lost in thought, Sho ran forward, jumped in the air and wrapped his legs around Seiryu’s head. His glowing package began to grow to block his mouth and nose. Seiryu was unsure what to do, as the powerful smell of sex confused him while he was struggling to breathe. But finally, he seemed to find his way around it and threw Sho to the ground. Before Sho could move, Seiryu grabbed him by the neck and held him in the air.
“No!” screamed Shiki’s voice, as he ran over to help, but it was too late, there was a loud pop and Sho went limp in Seiryu’s hands. Seiryu, however, didn’t have time to react to Shiki’s sudden appearance, and felt something slice through his right arm, before he felt another stab in the chest. He looked down to see that Shiki had weakened his sword arm and stabbed him in the heart, and then saw no more.
Kagami is a Japanese female name meaning ‘Mirror’. Lady Kagami is tribute to Tenchu 2

Seiryu is a god-like figurehead, commonly taking the form of a Blue Dragon. Tenchu 2 tribute.
