“To answer your first question.” She started. “I am Anita and this is T…” “Edward.” The man suddenly cut her off. She gave him a slightly startled look just before a blank face dropped in its place. Interesting.
“So what was that thing out there?” I had to know. “And what were you doing out there?”
“We don’t actually know what it is. And we were trying to track it when we saw it going towards your car.” Anita was saying. “Up until it pulled you out of the car, we thought that it was going to meet up with you.” Edward had taken over the story. “That is why we brought you back here. We thought that maybe we should find out who you were and what connection, if any, you had to the creature.”
“Well I don’t have any connection to that…thing.” Eww, and boy am I glad about that. “Where did it come from? I have never seen anything like that before.”

“So how long were you guys tracking that thing?” I asked them. “We started tracking it about four days ago.” Hmmm, that is only one day longer than I have been having this weird feeling. “Exactly when did you start tracking this thing?” This was just too much of a coincidence. In my life this much coincidence usually means something is going on. They shared a look before Edward spoke. “Why do you want to know the exact time that we started tracking it?” “Please just humor me.” I said slightly begging. They shared a look again and I saw Anita give him an almost imperceptible nod. I guess I was going to get my information. “We started tracking it at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.” Whoa! This is getting scary. That is the morning that I woke up with this uneasy feeling. “You said that you saw it heading towards my car.” Somehow I thing I already knew the answer to this one, but I wanted it confirmed. “Yeah, it was going pretty much in a strait path and all of a sudden it veered off at an angle. We followed and it made an almost straight path to your car.” Yup, that is what I thought. I was starting to see spots in front of my eyes. “Are you alright?” Anita asked from right in front of me. I let out a startled scream. I must have been close to blacking out; I never saw her move over to me.
Just as I was about to tell her that I was ok, I heard to door being slammed open and several things happened at once. We all whipped around and I could see Ranger and Tank, guns in hand, moving towards us.
