The three of them spent the remainder of the night talking, with James securely tucked between Edward and Emmett. They talked about everything and nothing, just getting to know each other. The next morning after the others had come down stairs they just hung out and went about their normal Saturday activities.

“I think not,” Laurent replied.

As Emmett grabbed Laurent from behind James shouted, “EDWARD!”

Releasing Laurent to Emmett, Edward ran to James. He was walking to the boarder and the wolves were growling and crouched for attack.

“Stop,” Edward pleaded as he pushed against James, blocking his path.

Shaking his head James answered, “I can’t.”

Looking at his brother Edward said, “Jasper take his head.”
