Jacob’s POV
Charlie called me to tell me he found Jennesa at the Cullen’s and that she is a newborn. I don’t care. I am going to see her. There isn’t a treaty stopping me and the Cullen’s are not bad for vampires. They don’t feed on humans, which is good. I just hope Jenn doesn’t go crazy with the blood lust like most newborns do.
The Quileute wolves let the Cullen’s know if we need their help as they do the same for us. So here I am headed to the Cullen’s to see my best friend. I hope she is okay. Charlie didn’t tell me much. I would hate it if she were really far off that when my Bella gets here that I have to tell her she can’t see her aunt. Jenn means everything to Bella.
So I make it to the Cullen’s and Alice let’s me in. I smile at her. Then I head to where Jenn’s scent is the strongest and I see all the bruises all over her body but I also see that Rose is taking care of her and that Edward is no where to be seen.
“How is she doing?” I ask Rose. I see Jenn turn in my direction and she smirks.
“How about you ask me how I am doing Jake. I will be okay. And Charlie is not happy that our father beat me again and our mother helped him and that he used his mouth on me even though I didn’t want him to. Please make sure he doesn’t do anything stupid. I can’t loose him and Bella can’t loose her father. It would kill her.” I hear her tell me in a voice that sounds like an angel. I am surprised cause I would think her voice wouldn’t have changed. Guess I was wrong. I sit down and talk to her.
“So Jenn how long have you been here?” I ask her and she tells me a little over a week. I hope for her sake that she never gives into the blood lust. I don’t want to loose my big sister. Yes I said big sister. Jenn is older then me. See the women in her family stop aging at 17. Jenn is actually 32 years of age. But she looks 17 and will now always look 17.

Jenn’s POV
I have been with the Cullen’s for almost 4 months now. I got here at the end of May and it is now the end of August. Tomorrow is the first day of school. Yuck 11th grade. I so hate school. I am out shopping with Alice and Rose. I swear I can’t wait to get home. At least Edward and I have become really close as friends. He sometimes let’s me listen when he plays his piano.
Well we are finally home. Thank god. I find out that Emmett, Jasper and Edward are out hunting. And Esme went with them but Carlisle, Alice, Rose and I are the only one’s at home. I can’t believe I am wanted here. I hear my phone ringing and I assume it is Bella or Jake asking if they can come over or for me to go over there. I answer it without looking at the caller id and regret it as soon as I hear my father’s drunken voice yelling at me.
“WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU SLUT? YOU BETTER BE HEADING HOME.” He screams at me.
“Father, I haven’t been home for almost 4 months and I am not coming home and I am not a slut. How dare you call me that. I have done nothing to you.” I tell him but it doesn’t stop his yelling at me.
“YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME. I AM YOUR FATHER AND YOU WILL DO AS I SAY. NOW YOU BETTER GET IN YOUR CAR AND GET BACK HERE OR I WILL CALL YOUR BROTHER AND MAKE HIM TELL ME WHERE YOU ARE. AND JENNESA, WHEN YOU GET HOME BE PREPARED FOR YOUR PUNISHMENT. YOU DIDN’T LISTEN TO ME.” He yells at me some more. I growl in the phone and talk deadly to him.
“Listen here old man, do not threaten me. I will not be coming back and go ahead and call Charlie. He knows what you did to me and that mother helped you. He isn’t too happy with you two. I have a new family that loves and cares for me. Like you and mother should have. What you did to me father, is something I will never forget. I hope you die a terrible death. Not really but don’t call me again….” I get out before I see Carlisle take my phone and speak to my father.
“Mr. Swan this is Carlisle Cullen. My wife and I have adopted Jennesa and she is our daughter now. I do not tolerate how you have been speaking to her. So let me give you some advice. DON’T CALL HER EVER AGAIN OR YOU WILL DEAL WITH ME.” I hear him yell in the phone before flipping it close and breaking it. He turns to me and I look so shock. I guess Carlisle yelling made Edward, Emmett, Jasper and Esme back home and also brought Alice and Rose down in the stairs and stand by my side.
I look at Carlisle and I go to him and hug him tightly. I dry sob happy. “You and Esme are really special to me. I love you both so much and I am proud to be your daughter.” I tell him and I see him smile lovingly to me and hug me back and he tells me the same. He told me he would get me a new phone. And I smirk.
“Dad, that was a prepaid phone. It’s okay. My real phone is upstairs on my nightstand.” I tell Carlisle and I see Edward smirking when he hears what is in my mind. If I could blush I would be. I tell mom and dad bye and run out the door and up the stairs and change into my bikini and then head to the indoor pool and jump in before Edward can catch me.
I splash at him and he jumps in and grabs me around the waist. I laugh when he tries to tickle me. See most vampires are not ticklish. But I am. And he knows it. I try getting away from him. But his tickling is turning me on.
“Edward! Stop. Come on! Please? Stop. Please?” I beg him then he tickles me more and at the bottom of my feet and I moan. He stops tickling me then. He looks in my eyes to see them dark with lust and desire.
“Jenn? Are you okay?” I hear him asking me but all I can think is that he looks so damn sexy all wet and he’s so close to me. Then I start to panic. Shit my witch power is coming out. It’s like a succubus. I push him away lightly and get out and run to the shower and turn on the cold water and just sit on the floor and let the cold water calm me.
‘God what was I thinking? I could have made him do something we are both not ready for. I need to get myself under control.’ I think to myself and then I feel a sense of calm wash over me and I know Jasper is outside the door. So I call out.
“You can come in Jasper and thank you. I am still dressed.” I told him so he wouldn’t be seeing me in my birthday suit. I snicker at that. It wouldn’t be like I would be able to tell if he is embarrassed. I see him come in and he turns off the water and then helps me out.
“Are you okay Jennesa?” I hear Jasper asking me. I smile at him.
“I guess I need to explain to everyone what all that was back there. Huh?” I tell him then dry off and head to change to shorts and a tank top. Then I head downstairs and to the family room. I see all the Cullen’s there waiting for me to explain. I take a deep unneeded breath and tell my story.
“I guess you all want to know what the hell that was back there. I know Alice and Emmett knows what that was since I have known them for most of my human life.” I say then continue. “So as I was saying. I was never just plain human. None of the females are in the family. My mother is a witch and my father is a warlock. Charlie and I are witches. But the women in the family stop aging at 17. I am actually 32 years of age. I know you all are probably wondering how the hell was I able to get turned then. Well let me tell you. I still have some human in me. I mean I was human just not a normal human. When my powers start to act up it’s like a succubus. I feed off of lust and sex and desire and I could have made Edward and I do something we are both not ready for. I try very hard not to let that power come out. That is why I can eat human food and I don’t have a craving for human blood like normal newborns do. I know lucky right? Wrong. My parents are extremely evil. They use their power to do evil things. Let me tell you. I am no saint. I dated a vampire before when I was human. But unlike our kind he was the other kind of vampire. The one’s that make people by draining them of their blood and giving the person their blood.
Now I know you all are wondering how my power flared up back in the pool. Let me tell you Edward. It wasn’t you. It was me. Seriously. It was all me. When you started tickling me at first it was okay. But then I started getting turned on by it. And when you tickled the bottom of my feet. Well that set the power off. I know your eyes darken when your angry, hungry or thirsty for sex. But my eyes darken cause my power wanted everything from you and wanted your body so bad. I am not ready for sex. Not sure if I will ever be ready for it. I can’t get James or Laurent out of my mind. They raped me and took away what I should have given to the right person. So like I said that back there was all me. I am truly sorry for causing you to think it was your entire fault. It wasn’t and I take full responsibility for my actions. I hope you all can forgive me and I hope you can to one day Edward.”
I told them then sit down on the couch and look at Edward. I can tell he is conflicted and confused. I smile gently at him. If you need time to think that is okay to. I don’t want you to think different of me. But you did deserve the truth I tell him in his mind. So he understands I am truly sorry.
With that said I told my family I was going to go get my car from Charlie’s and then go hunting. If anyone wanted to come with me they were more then welcome but if they still needed time then that was okay also.
I head out back door and am about to run to Charlie’s when a hand stop’s me. I turn to see Jasper and I nod at him then took off towards my brother’s place. I got to his house in like a couple seconds. I see my car was just washed. And freshly was freshly waxed. Man, Charlie sure knows how to take care of my car. Or that could have been Bella. I smile at Jasper.
“Yes it’s a 2008 Volvo C70 T5 Convertible and yes it is cherry red. The only thing nice my parents ever got for me or did for me.” I tell him.
“Well darlin, It is a very nice car. Edward might get jealous cause your car is nicer then his.” He told me and I giggled.
“Well I doubt he would get jealous over a car. And I am sure I scared him away. So he might just stay away from me. I think you all might stay away from me after what I told you all about me.” I told Jasper sadly and then let myself inside Charlie’s house and let Jasper in with me. I went to get my bag and my money and my car keys and my diary. Then I locked up and headed to my car.
I started my car and waited till Jasper jumped in then we headed back to the house then ran in the woods till I smelled a grizzly bear. I crouched low and then attacked it breaking its neck and drinking all it’s blood. The blood was so warm and so tasty. Then I watched Jasper hunt. It was amazing watching him hunt. I smiled at him. I was a very good eater. I had no blood on me from the bear. I guess I am a natural hunter. I giggled at that.
“You should see my other car Charlie and my uncle bought me. It’s a Ferrari F430 Spider. That car is back home in Texas with my uncle and his wife/mate. I swear if those two hurt my baby. I will kick their asses.” I told Jasper then saw him smirking and smiling wide.
“I didn’t know you and Charlie were from the south Darlin. I am from Texas.” He told me.
I smiled at Jasper and then spoke. “Charlie and I were born in Dallas. My uncle lives in Dallas where his friends who are married are. He calls his friend ‘Pale face’ I think it’s funny. I just call my uncle’s friend uncle Petey.” I told him then saw his eyes go wide.
“You know a Peter? Is his wife’s name Charlotte?” He asked me and I smiled.
“Why yes it is his wife’s name. You know them?” I asked Jasper surprised.
“Why yes darlin, Peter and Charlotte are dear friends of mine. I turned Peter in the civil war. When I served in the Confederate Army. And I was in charge of the vampire wars also.” He told me and I smirked and chuckled.
“So your Major Whitlock? Uncle Peter always talks about you. I bet he knew I would meet you and the Cullen’s some day. Know it all mother fucker.” I mumble the last under my breath. I see Jasper smirking. “He sure knows stuff. Like he’s Yoda or something. Very good grasshopper what is he Bruce Lee or something?” I asked laughing.
Over the next few days only time will tell what will happen and if I am still welcomed in the family.
