Chapter 5 Interaction
After being scolded for something that the man couldn’t understand, he was disposed of without even a why. The three hooded figures getting closer to their prey. Given word that he might actually get to the elfin village in time, an order was issued to make sure that he wouldn’t. The barbarian was doing well. At least for them he was. The rest of the traveling party were just starting to worry about him.
Every elf the three ran into they quickly disposed of or avoided. Three on one was hard to defeat, especially when the three were drow priestesses. They walked swiftly from shadow to shadow in the day and quick sprints at night until they finally caught up to the companions. Getting everything planned into detail, a few more nights and they would be ready. Not a moment to soon either, the village was only a little ways away from this point.
------------------------------------
Awaking to screaming, Wulfgar reached for his war hammer. Then he realized that Drizzt wasn’t having a nightmare nor was anyone in trouble. It was his own faithful dream of Drizzt’s cries of pain from that night that had awoken him. He covered his face and cursed under his breath. Debating still whether to tell them or to let Drizzt tell them than try and explain.
‘Shove it in him again, until he gets used to it. Remember how arrogant he was when he was training you. You first met him and all he did was show off that first day. Outdoing you. He can’t stand that for once, you beat him.’ The voice said. Wulfgar shook his head, once again that damned thing was back. It seemed that Cattie-brie was out on watch around the camp, probably looking for some spare fire wood just laying about to make sure that everyone stayed warm. No… to make sure he stayed warm. Even next to the fire and covered with all the blankets he still shivered. ‘He stole her from you, don’t you realize that.’ Wulfgar reached a gentle hand down and traced across Drizzt’s forehead then rested on his cheek.
“I’m so--”
“Wulfgar what are you doing up, your shift was over for the night an hour ago.” the girl had returned and just walked casually over to the fire and started putting the wood on. Just nodding, the barbarian drew away from the elf quickly. “did, he have a nightmare again?”
He shook his head no and just quietly sat down. Pulling his cloak around him and falling back asleep. Thinking about it a moment, Cattie-brie just shrugged and continued tending to the fire.
------------------------------------
Putting on their masks, and casting the spells, the three ‘elves’ now intercepted the traveling group on the road. Elven ears pointing out and in sight. The slight wincing of their eyes to the sunlight hidden very well. Pale skinned and grinning like children the three pulled off the parts very well indeed. Regis spotted them and rushed over.
“My dear ladies, could you please help us? Please?!” The Halfling begged. Pretending to look slightly confused on the matter they soon nodded and followed. Covering their mouths and saying things like, “Do you know what that is? It’s a drow!” They exclaimed at Drizzt. Even though he was helpless, he still was put down because of what he was.
“Yes we do. Ever hear the name Drizzt Do’Urden?” Bruneor asked. The three looked at each other before agreeing. “That’s him, he’s been badly… wounded…. And needs the healing power of the elven folk. If you would please…”
“My gracious, what happened to him?” One said rushing over and feeling his forehead. “oh by malieki he is chilled.” the other two gathered around. “We are not so experienced with this as the elders are, but we shall help all we can, at least until you get there.”
Regis’, cattie-brie’s and wulfgar’s faces all lit up, Bruneor just gave a gruff nod. Not exactly trusting the three… but it was an emergency. After a little while, the girls had given Drizzt a potion that was supposed to stop his nightmares, at least temporarily. Surprisingly it worked. No nightmares that night.
But the morning after that, the fellows awoke and Drizzt was gone. The three were still there and looked just as worried about the missing elf. After searching everywhere that he could have gone, which wasn’t a very large perimeter they had settled on the fact that he was kidnapped.
“There is a band of bandits just a little way north of here… they have kidnapped some of our folk as well and sold them to people as slaves. They never lasted long because of the fading… but still. They might have… might have,” the girl broke down and began crying on her sisters shoulder.
“I’ll go check it out.” Bruner stated.
“Okay. You look there, with Regis and Cattie-brie, me and my sisters will look around with Wulfgar. We are not so trained in the combat ways.” one of them stated. Bruner just nodded. Then they separated.
Moving off in a direction, the three beckoned Wulfgar to follow, which, worried about his friend, he didn’t hesitate. Soon he was finding it hard to keep up with the girls. Then suddenly he couldn’t see them anymore. Running in the way he had last seen them he was disconcerted when he was greeted with unholy laughter. Yet he continued. In some brush under a tree he noticed something. Rushing over he pulled it out. It was Drizzt and he was freezing. He felt a sudden prick at the back of his neck which he quickly rubbed away. Picking the elf up he continued back to the camp until he noticed that the tunic they had put on the elf was beginning to open slightly.
‘Wouldn’t his skin taste so good.’
“Yes…” Wulfgar said without thinking.
‘They are still looking for him elsewhere. If you hurried, you could do it, and blame it on one of the human bands running around these parts. He’s too gone to notice that it is you.’ The voice egged him on. He went to his knees and trailed a hand down the center of Drizzt’s tunic. The elf whimpered.
Slowly he opened the cloth and bend his head down and bit at the skin lightly. It tasted wonderful, better than anything else, and caused his arousal to grow even more. Slowly he trailed kisses down Drizzt’s form and slowly drew down his leggings. Waking up a little, the elf gasped when he noticed what was happening to him. Taking in a breath to scream, his mouth was covered.
“Quiet.” It sounded like two voices, Wulfgar’s and Llothe’s. Drizzt began shaking violently as tears fell down his eyes. “You are never getting cured.” The voice said, reaching it’s spare hand around and pushing one finger into Drizzt. An arrow cutting into Wulfgar’s shoulder brought him back. He suddenly backed away and looked at the elf with unbelievable guilt. Drizzt curled up and just laid there crying.
Wulfgar was hit hard in the side of the head by a Dwarven gauntlet “What the bloody hell dya think your doing….?! It was you wasn’t it?! You bastard. How dare you… IT WAS DRIZZT!. Our friend! Your Mentor! How could you?!” Bruner yelled as cattie-brie ran to the elf and covered him.
“I didn’t…I…”
“We caught you in the act. And to think we wanted to help you as well. You were the cause of what ailles your friend and what we’ve been helping with. You hid him from us.” One of the three girls yelled. “Human men are evil…” They all said before running off crying.
“It wasn’t me… it wasn’t”
“Well I didn’t see anyone else laying on the ground with a naked elf, hands all over his body!” Bruner yelled. Wulfgar got up quickly and just looked at Drizzt and Bruner, than quickly ran away. “Damn him….damn him..” Bruner cried going to help attend to Drizzt.
---------------------------
The crying soon turned into laughing as the plan was sealed. “That was almost too easy. Humans are too easy to control.”
“He had too much bronze for his brains that’s for sure.” they all laughed.
---------------------------
Finally out of energy, Wulfgar stopped. He had ran all the way back to the road. He couldn’t return now, he couldn’t hope to make this right. It was too far wrong. Over hearing voices traveling towards him he quickly got off the road and back into the brush.
“I swear I saw them. Three Drow women. They killed an elf.” The man exclaimed.
“Why didn’t you do anything about it,” the other asked.
“You fool, don’t you know what a Drow is. It would have been suicide.” The other looked away and stayed silent for a while.
Auther's note: The next chapter is the final. there will be two different Final chapters, they will both start otu the same, but have a different end. One is depressing, the other is a happy ending. The first one is depressing. The second 'Final' I put up, will be the happy ending. you choose which one you want to read.
