Chapter Five
My face was buried in a warm chest. The party in the field had lasted for a good six hours. I had fallen asleep on a blanket.
I opened my eye’s to see where I was. Embry was looking at me.
“Good morning” he said. “How’d I get here?” I asked yawning. “I carried you in, I called Jasper an let him know” he said. “Ok” I said laying my head back down on his chest.
I noticed him for the first time. He had defiantly grown up. He was almost the smallest of out all the guys , he was only 200 , where the other’s had a good sixty lbs on him. He had more of a swimmers body. He had a six pack though. His hair was a little shaggy but not bad looking. He had a tattoo on his left shoulder, all of his pack mates did to.
“Do you have to be anywhere today?” he asked. “No , but I do need to get my apartment painted , I don’t want to stay in a house with my uncle an his wife , I know Alice” I said. “Eww , to much info” Embry said making a face. “I know” I said.
“Would you like me to help you paint?” he asked. “ I would love it” I said. “Gonna have to do something for me though” he said giving me a look. “Uh , not for a while buddy” I said looking at him. “Not that , get your mind out of the gutter” he said. “Then what?” I asked.
“Go to my family reunion with me next week?” he asked. “Of course” I said. “Thanks , I dread going to see my mom’s side of the family” he said. “I love your mom” I said. “I know , but my cousins are a bunch of stuck up assholes” he said. “Where did she move to anyways?” I asked. “Back to Montreal” he said. “Ouch’ I said. “I know” he said.
