Edward’s POV
Alice, Rose, Emmett and I all went hunting near Canadian Border for the night. I can’t believe that Jennesa has that much power. It is truly amazing. I can’t believe she would think we wouldn’t want her in the family. Or that I would hate her, I mean it wasn’t her fault she was born the way she was born. I can’t believe she is older then me. Well not really considering I was born in 1901 but by numbers she is older then me. But looks 17. I will admit I wanted to kiss her so bad in the pool. I mean she looked hot and yummy in that bikini she was wearing.
I was pulled from my thoughts when I smelled a mountain lion. I stalked my prey and then I pounced on the poor kitty. I broke it’s neck then sunk my razor sharp teeth in it’s jugular and drank till I drained it dry. I saw Alice, Rose and Emmett all fed from their prey. I know Alice misses Jasper considering that Rose and Emmett are having a passionate conversation where Rose is agreeing with Emmett a lot. I snicker at that thought. I also know that since Jennesa is with us that we will have to introduce her to our way of life. Meaning we all share each other. Emmett and Alice are very close as brothers and sisters and they do everything together. Have been for years.
I look to Alice and smile at her as she comes over to sit by me. I lean over and kiss her cheek softly. She smiles and says that what I am thinking sounds like a great idea.
It is morning and we all decide to head back. We make it back and I see a beautiful 2008 Volvo C70 T5 Convertible in the driveway. I wonder whose car that is and if we have company. I then smell that Jasper and Jenn are back. I smile as we all walk back into the house. I see Esme sitting on the couch looking at some book about how to decorate your home.
“Hey Esme, do you know whose car that is in the driveway?” I ask her smiling.
Just as she was about to answer Jenn comes down the stairs in a come fuck me outfit and answers for her.
“It’s mine Edward. It was the only nice thing my bastard of a father got for me.” She tells me and I am jealous. “Your car is better then mine.” I tell her. Which pisses me off. I march upstairs and get ready. I hear Emmett, Rose, Alice, Esme and Jenn laughing at me. I see Jasper smirking as we head down the stairs. “Don’t you laugh at me to Jasper. It’s not right she has a better car then me.” I tell him then see Jenn standing right in my face. The nerve of what she tells me….
“Get over it Eddie. It is just a car. It’s not the end of the world. It’s a good thing I didn’t bring my other car here to. It’s a Ferrari F430 Spider. And it is also cherry red.” She tells me now I am more jealous then ever. “Fine! Let’s go to school misses ‘look at me with my nice cars.’ I tell her then instantly felt bad when I saw the hurt look on her face. ‘Fuck’ I am such an asshole. I go to the garage and get in my car and drive to school while I see Jasper and Alice and Rose and Emmett drive with Jenn to school. She is even letting Rose drive her car. How unfair. I hope she can forgive me someday and let me ride her car…
Jenn’s POV…
I can’t believe Edward is such an asshole. I mean for fucks sake it’s just a fucking car.
“Did I do something to piss Edward off? Why does he have to be such a douche bag?” I ask sadly.
I hear Emmett laughing and I smile at that. I let it go. He will either apologize or not. I could care less. I so want to play with him though for a little bit. He does deserve it hurting my feelings the way he did this morning. Maybe I could have a little harmless fun with him. I know what I can do and lunch is the right time to do it.
Well I go to my classes and the day passes by too quickly for me. Now it is lunchtime and I have had a lot of time to think and I think I am going to cut Edward a break. Let’s face it. I have a soft spot for him in my heart. I go get my food, which consists of an apple, water, soda and half a sandwich and a small cup of soup. I sit down at the Cullen table with everyone and start eating my food. See even though I am a vampire I can still eat normal human food. I see Edward joining us and I go to him and finally speak.
“Edward about this morning let’s just forget it happened and put it behind us. I am sorry that I got in your face and that I flashed my cars into your face like I did. It’s just that I am extremely proud of my babies and I take pride in my cars. If you want after school you can drive my car home while the others drive yours home. I kind of need to talk to you alone as it is. Would that be alright?” I ask him now the ball is in his court. Hopefully he will want to talk… Only time will tell…
