Chapter 5 Revelations

My Son,
It grieves me to say these things, but unfortunately they must be known. We both know that once Lile leaves life with your mother will be short lived and painful at best, she has only kept us alive this long to appease Lile, me to teach him the sword, and you to be his plaything in the middle of the night. There have been many times I wasn't able to sleep at all knowing the terrible things he was doing to you. I wasn't able to protect you then, maybe I can save you now.
Kodi I want you to know how much I love you, and that whatever happens now is what has to be, my son. I am so dearly sorry for what life has done to you, at least now you can be free to do as you will. I know you will be a great man one day, I see it your eyes and in your heart. My dear Son. Weep for the past but hope for the future! Live to be who you are meant to be.

Time seemed to stop, nothing felt real. Kodi was empty inside. He knew. His father knew that he was going to die at the hands of his mother. He was at peace with it. A slight breeze flushed his cheeks and he didn't notice the dark form moving towards him, eyes glued to the paper. Shivering when a hand wiped the tears he didn't know were there away, he looked up into those blue orbs lowering the paper in the process. Then he wrapped his arms around his friend and trembled in the other mans grasp.
Minutes he cried.
Minutes where nothing but his pain and tears mattered.
His mind was a blur and he felt cold inside. He tried to stop crying but the tears kept flowing, he couldn't even take the effort to be embarrassed at his weakness. Sobbing all the more because of it. Donvaine only held him feeling the pain the other was going through and couldn't stop himself from wondering why the boy would cry so when he had been getting along very nicely this passed week.
After what seemed like eternity to him, Kodi felt the tears slow and eventually stop. Sniffling a few times then reluctantly pulling away he wiped his eyes with his sleeve and shuddered. Taking a moment to breathe and adjust his thoughts. Not knowing what to say Donvaine shifted uneasily on his feet.
Taking a moment to look around while the other collected himself the room was more or less plain empty of everything except a few wooden tables linning the walls with some books on them. There was a table organized as if a scribe worked there with quills and rolls of parchment, sheets of plain paper and a nicely crafted chair that looked quite comfortable.
Then he looked to his right and his eyes caught a shimmering light at the far end of the room he looked harder and was instantly in awe. The two beautifully rendered swords laid there were clearly the the work of a true artist.
Chuckling caught his ear and continued to grow in tone once it turned into actual laughing he was finally able to pry his eyes away from the weapons. Now facing Kodi he smiled the boy was bent over roaring with laughter and smiled himself chuckling slightly realizing how he must have looked.
"You!-" Kodi tried to say but was cut off by lack of air. "You l-" Taking a deep inhale. "You looked like an innocent child meeting the Dragon himself."
Donvaine blushed and hiding behind his hands in embarrassment, but hands were immediately clutching his own. "I'm sorry Don. But you just looked so cute that I couldn't help it." ended with lips plastered against his own. Donvaine felt his tension drain away as he deepened the kiss feeling the others pain recede at the same time. Moaning into their connected lips he tried to pull away for air but was only pulled deeper into it by Kodi's hand at the back of his head and an angry tongue battling with his own demanding to be submitted to.
Donvaine put his arms around the other and forcefully pulled him up to intensify their interaction but Kodi's legs immediately wrapped themselves around his waist resting quite easily with little strain while arms wrapped themselves around his neck at the wrists and fingers idly played with his hair. Donvaine kneeded his palms into the skin at Kodi's lower back squeezing lightly at the firm flesh of the younger man's butt pulling him up higher in the process placing their heads at the same level and changing the angle of the others lips.
At his elevated height Kodi attacked with renewed vigor, trying to make the rest of his pain subside at least for the time being. Feeling his tongue winning the battle he removed one an arm from Donvaines neck sliding its way over the mans shoulder and then down to his chest to lightly circle a nipple twirling the hardened flesh through the mans shirt gaining a shiver from the other. Kodi continued to antagonize the others thoroughly hardened nipple until Don was shuddering then he set it free, only to subject the other one to the same torment only this time he gave a sharp pinch before letting go gaining a gasp from the man in the process.
Feeling tensions mount and becoming a little sore at the restrictions Donvaine attacked the others lips with his own intentions in mind. In a hurry he had made his way to the desk and everything on it was swiped to the floor with Kodi now occupying the surface of the table. Not even breaking the kiss his hands were now free and they had a mind of their own running over the others tight chest tentatively playing with his nipples then making their way down and under the shirt gliding the over the now sweating skin massaging in circles as they travelled back up to the nipples. Torturing the taut skin with slight pinches and soft carresses Kodi was now the one who was moaning giving Donvaines mouth the chance to break away gasp for air and then attack the jugular placing soft kisses along his jawline down to the right side and then deepening sucking in some flesh with lips wrapped around it. Licking and sucking the skin he bit down hard but not enough to draw blood, then unclenched his teeth and massaged the skin further sucking harder. Letting go of the flesh altogether. Placing a gentle kiss on it before letting go.
Minutes passed by of them both just lying in that position Kodi back on the desk, Donvaine head in the crook of Kodis' shoulder just resting and catching their breaths.
Collecting his thoughts Kodi was the first one to break the silence. "You know--uhh-- we were supposed to train with those swords today if you feel up to it?" he smiled at the flash of bright eyes popped into his mind. He felt a light chuckle on top of him obviously with the same image to blame.
Grinning to himself 'That is not all I am up to' He let the thought pass without even giving it voice. What he said was "Sure if thats what you want, I for one am content just like this." he snuggled Kodi's shoulder for emphasis.
Chuckling softly to himself and slightly nodding his assent. "We cannot be like this forever, though a little longer will not hurt." He wrapped his arms around Donvaine for good measure, closed his eyes and felt himself drifting. Breathing deeply he felt himself drifting off the slow thump of his heart in sync with the body on top of his own he floated in an emptiness close to sleeping.
Donvaine felt himself slipping off into slumber even with the uncomfortable position, knowing he was going to be sore if he stayed like this too much longer but uncaring none the less. His mind slowed down and he thought of what life was like before he knew this man, all of the things he had planned on doing dropped because of Kodi, now all he wanted out of life was to make the lad happy.
Both of them floating in emptiness not a care in the world outside of the others beating heart, relaxing, Neither one noticed that the sun had passed its zenith and was now making its slow way towards evening.

Steel met steel in a blur, sparks flew, and the two combatants met each other in a fiery storm of sweat and heavy breathing. Each attacking relentlessly to drive the other back, their dance wasn't one of anger nor rage. It was one of pleasure and pride.
Donvaine felt pleased with himself for making his friend work this hard to drive him back, he may be just starting to grasp the full task of swordsmanship but thanks to the Void he was able to concentrate fully on the battle. Keeping himself from grinning was becoming a great task. Kodi must be tiring, he pondered feeling nothing except the dance and what was comming next.
Kodi was having a hard time with the forms, he could feel himself lagging and losing strength. Almost at the point where he had to force his body to react to Donvaines steps. He tried to be proud of the blue eyed man for his grace and swiftness, and he was but he felt shame that he was having such a challenge from somebody he was teaching. Laughing at himself for not using the Oneness, he remembered thinking that he would teach it to Donvaine that night after dinner when they were relaxing so it would come easier. Cursing himself as he was fast enough to parry a slash that would have gut him like a fish if he hadn't jumped out of the way snapping a twig from the ring they had created and effectively losing the match.
"You lose." spoken with perfect calmness as if Donvaine was not gloating but merely stating a fact.
Kodi looked up into those clear blue eyes and saw nothing, they were as still as water and just as empty. He tried to remain calm it wasn't the lost battle that got to him, it was the relentlessly calm gaze the other had on his face. He dropped his sword and put his head down. Kodi tried to feel pride at Donvaines adept use of the sword and the ease with which he picked up the dance moves. "I'm sorry I didn't put up a better fight Don." his voice came out low and sorrowfilled.
Then he was embraced in such a tight and gently hug that it could have been a completely different person holding him, this wasn't the same man that had just ruthlessly defeated him without even breaking stride. This was his Donvaine. The man he shared a bed with every night. The one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. His innocent and caressing ocean of sensitivity. "Ako- I am so sorry- I wanted to show you how much I have improved and the best way I knew how was to embrace the Void. I never meant to hurt or scare you I am sorry. I should have told you before but I wanted to surprise you."
Trying to process the words his mind stopped at Void he couldn't find its meaning in his head, the word meant nothing to him he didn't know what it was. "Void? What is the Void?" he stumbled over the word trying to get the feeling for whatever it was.
"Its' a state of mind where you go into this kind of trance to remain calm and collected. It is said to be a very useful tool in battle, I picked it up on my travels. I am very sorry if you are angry at me I will completely understand."

Donvaines voice was high pitched and nervous almost as if he was scared of the reply. He kept swallowing while trying to explain himself like he was choking on something not particularly tastey.
Kodi understood the theory and connected the lines of comprehension between the two words and smile slightly. "Its alright Don. I understand what it is you were trying to do and if I get what you are talking about the Void is akin to the Oneness that my father taught me. Its a technique where you clear your mind of all thought creating a flame inside your consciousness and allowing that flame to consume all emotion every feeling thought everything until you are the flame. You the only thing you feel is seperated from your body like your watching somebody else, as if it is not you that recieved that scratch." he could feel Donvaine nodding his head in agreement still upset with himself for scaring his coal eyed friend.
"Donvaine its okay. I am not mad. I was frightened by what I saw in your eyes while we were trainning but I understand the lack of emotion now. I was actually going to show you the Oneness tonight after dinner. I was holding off until you grasped the concepts more and I have never used it in our practices because I have been too afraid I would hurt you, besides I like learning without the lack of emotion that way it is more engraved in me." Inhaling deeply after his long speech he nudged the mans shoulder.
Sighing in relief Donvaine let out some of his aprehension. Though not enough to make him feel any better, his head down he didn't see the other man move. The next thing he knew. He was being attacked furiously by the others lips almost falling backwards upon the first assault but gaining his footing quickly he responded by allowing the other the access he needed. Though he made him work for it. Kodi gratefully accepted the challenge and redoubled his efforts.
Holding the taller man by the shoulders he pulled himself up further allowing giving his lips better elevation to do battle, Donvaine aceded to his wishes arms softly around his back keeping him there but not forcing him. Pulling back Kodi pushed Donvaine who fell this time and didn't even have the chance to catch his breath or be confused before he was easily straddled by the other mans legs gently resting on either side of his thighs, those annoyed eyes. Almost glaring at him, "I said I am not mad at you but if you continue to hold back I will be. I am not a glass doll, Don I won't break as long as you don't actually want to hurt me. Do you want to hurt me?" Donvaine shook his head and lipped a "No!" at the same time but wasnt given the opportunity to further deny it. "Then don't. If you hurt me, believe me you'll know but I haven't even come close to wounded don't think I am so fragile."
Then he attacked burrying his hands into the mans hair and harshly attacking his lips forcing them apart, his tongue darting in to coerce the other into action. Slowly the demands were being met. He felt the other sturring to life but still holding back, in a flash of anger he ground his hips down into the other and slide them back and forth. Creating delicious friction that his hardened flesh throbbed wanting more, and at the groan that vibrated in his mouth the other liked it as well. Feeling pleased with himself he inwardly smirked and continued to grind into the other, who was responding by shivering. He let loose a hand to snake down and play with the already hardened nipples torturing them to painful nubs. He slightly pulled his mouth away to nip and lightly bite at Donvaines bottom lip. "Now what did you learn?" he said sofltly grinding down extra firmly into the other.
Before he knew what had happened he was laying flat on his back in a rush of air that left him slightly shocked, but once he was attacked with the others lips, hands and grinding he smiled, pleased with himself and allowed Donvaine his way with him. He gave himself over for the man to do as he pleased not even the least bit shocked that he did so as willingly as he had ever been about anything. He trusted his blue eyed friend truly trusted him.
Donvaine vowed to himself that he would do as Kodi wished, but treat this experience with as much care as he could without holding back.
He started by quickly opening the insulting shirt with both hands while subjecting the mans jugular to harsh nips kisses and sucks not in any particular order just aiming to please. Ginding his own hardened flesh into the others stiff member, catching the gasp in his lips as his tongue darted in to firmly massage the other. Shirt opened he pulled back the sides displaying the perfectly toned pale chest, his mouth moved to back to the neck and down onto the skin that had rarely seen the sun. Lips covering every inch he could reach, Donvaine reverently kissed each and every faded scar. Then showed the nipples the same care, licking them then inhaling them firmly into his mouth slurping on the painfully hardened skin and lightly biting before moving to the other nub.
Kodi arched up into his mouth moaning loudly and begging for more.
One of his hands left its place resting beside Kodi's midsection and made its way towards the hardened flesh that needed attention. Lightly rubbing it through the pants he massaged the member. He looked into the coal eyes and saw the bliss evident behind the mans orbs. Mouth open in a silent scream, he smiled as the boys hands travelled to play with his own nipples while Donvaine stroked him to completion.
He watched his ministrations eyes glittering in awe, loving the way the skin felt in his grasp. Enjoying the slick sounds that came from the wet flesh with each thrust. His mouth continued to water for the taste of the others member, to feel the rounded head slide inside his mouth. That was all the youth could take he fisted the mans hair in a grasp that made the other flinch, and let loose a gutteral growl as his orgasm hit. The next and the next were dodged and ended up landing on the pale chest as the boy continued to cry out his pleasure and the coral eyed man continued to stroke through each spurt found its way onto Kodi's chest. Watching in facination as the boy rode it out arching into his hand at intervals meeting the downward thrust with his own upward one forcing still more sticky fluid out of his draining body the last of it just trickled out and trailed down the hand that was giving him pleasure Donvaine smiled at his accomplishment.
Once the boy had stopped convulsing he brought his hand up to his own mouth and sucked off the salty fluid, relishing the flavor that was Kodi. Licking each finger dry and bent down and lapped up every drop on the mans stomache savoring the taste the whole time. After he had slurped every last drop he kissed his way up to the boys face to have his own grasped in still shaking fingers and turned, then a tongue came out lapping up the missed juice on his cheek effectively cleaning almost dried fluid off.
Kodi swallowed his seed, surprised at the taste of it he smiled and pulled Donvaines face to his capturing his lips in a tentalizing kiss that rocked his world further and sent chills down his spine.
After what seemed like hours of relaxation Donvaine felt the hand that had been smoothing over his hair move opening his eyes he noticed the sun had nearly set. He lifted his head sleepily smiling into the fully opened eyes of his best friend. "Hey Ako-" he was rewarded with a post bliss mummbled "hn?" he smirked "-guess I did better than I thought but that wasn't what I wanted. I was going to ask when should we get up. I mean not that I am not comfortable or anything but shouldn't we get these swords back to that shack and then finish the chores before the sun finishes settling? It will be dark soon and seeing as we have no light it might be best to get back inside."
Kodi shifted and groaned humorously. "Ngh." he looked around for a time and in short order made his decision. "Forget about taking the swords back, lets just take them to the house then finish the chores."
