A/N ; Just to let y’all know, I did a bit of editing in some of the chapters. Mostly it was just the fixing of typos, but I also did some re-writing. In the first chapter, fourth section down, Geiarrvoew’s POV; I added two paragraphs, nothing insanely important, but a tiny tid bit of background on Arrvo and Eden. In the second chapter, last section, Jacob’s POV; I felt like I didn’t write parts of it very well, so I changed some and added in a few more paragraphs. Again, nothing vital enough that you can’t continue reading without confusion. No worries.
Sorry for the kind of long wait between updates. Forgive any typos. Enjoy

A torn up and discarded ragdoll; that’s what the woman looked like. A pretty ragdoll though; her skin snow-pale against the concrete, wide unblinking blue eyes with thick mascara-black eyelashes, her black hair in large ringlets tied back with ribbons. The only thing missing was a light pink flush in her cheeks. But it would never complete the picture, for she had no more blood in her body to cause such color, nor life in her veins for flushing to occur.
Silas was admiring the puncture wounds on her neck, a twisted grin on his face as he contemplated where to cut her next, when a voice stilled his hand, “Why do you enjoy that? The blood’s gone, so what’s the fun in slicing her up?” The blonde vampire didn’t need to turn his head to know that a bored Kaige was leaning against the alley wall behind him, hunger temporarily sated.
He heard Kaige’s questions but didn’t bother replying, instead he sliced his knife across the ragdoll’s cheeks, creating an artificial blush as he exposed the pinker flesh underneath. He heard a muttered “weird fuck” but didn’t pay the redhead any mind. He liked the patterns he could create. It was like artwork. His ragdoll was a beauty. A cold, white and red, lifeless beauty.
“Put the knife away, Silas. We’re heading out.” With Garrett’s return, the red eyed being took a moment longer to carve a small perfect heart underneath his ragdoll’s eye. He felt Kaige move past him, though no sound could be heard in the alleyway. Seconds later, the three vampires were on the move again, heading north.

Tucker’s tall form was crashing through the woods like a frightened animal, no idea where he was headed, just needing to get away. Away from what he’d seen, away from the unconscious Cliff and Jesse, and away from the. . . .that- He shuddered hard, images dashing through his mind randomly, keeping his feet moving even as the cold from the rain numbed him.
The blonde’s cheek was stinging slightly and he felt so lost. It did no good now to think to himself ‘I never should have gone with them.’ The cold was really starting to get to him, and with the added trembling from pure fear, Tucker knew he wouldn’t be able to run much farther.
For some reason, he was reminded of his very brief time in boy scouts as a child. He’d only tagged along on the annual camping trip because his younger cousin had asked him to, and it was a way to get away from his parents for a while. One of the leaders had taught them about survival, though Tucker hadn’t listened very well. What was he supposed to do when cold and lost? Shelter. He was supposed to look for shelter.
His brown eyes darted around him, seeing trees, trees and more trees, along with the slight rolls and hills in the land. There! A bit off to his right, there was a small cluster of rocks that were over shadowed by a grouping of small trees and one very large tree. It wasn’t as good as a small cave, but Tuck didn’t think there were any around, in the middle of the forest.
Clutching his arms across his chest he made a dash towards his makeshift shelter, climbing over two of the rocks until he could settle on the grey one in the middle, directly under the close knit braches of the tree group. Instantly, the tall youth felt better, safer, though he wasn’t sure why. After this, Tucker was done with Cliff and Jesse.
He couldn’t believe they were going to rape that boy! Even though the. . . .wolf. . .? had scared him, Tuck was glad it had showed up and stopped the other boys. When the blonde got home, he’d put in more hours at work and keep saving. Anything to get away from what his life was now, away from his uncaring parents and so-called-friends. Now ex-friends.
Even freezing, lost, and still somewhat scared, Tucker felt his eyelids drooping. Hugging his knees to his chest, he let his head rest on his arms and gave in to the urge to close his eyes. His breathing slowed, and soon he was lightly sleeping.

They had ahold of him, their hands tearing at his clothes, scratching his skin and causing his trembling to increase, from fear and not the cold. Tears slipped down his face as he tried to struggle. A fierce growl rang in his ears, and it all stopped. An animal. Wolf? Memories blurred and swirled in his head, and the last thing he saw were a pair of obsidian orbs staring into his own eyes. A strong feeling flashed through his body, and-
Eden shot up, breathing quietly but at a slightly quickened pace, his heart fluttering madly in his chest. A dream. Not just a dream, but one born from memories. The ravenette shifted slightly and the soreness of his body told him that it all had been quiet real. His muscles ached from being so tense and parts of his body felt bruised or scratched.
He was alive, with no major injuries and his virginity still intact, but where was he. The beautiful black eyes flashed in his mind again, and with them a face. That man. The one who had saved him. Maybe this was his house? Eden let his eyes drift about the room, noticing that besides the small nightstand and dresser, the bed was the only furniture.
As his gaze drifted over the wooden frame of the bed, Eden realized that he was naked. Lifting the blankets from his body, he immediately noticed small bandages dotted here and there. Someone had cleaned the dirt off his skin and taken care of his cuts. He found himself imaging a pair of dark skinned strong hands to accompany the handsome face of his rescuer.
Eden wasn’t confused. Sure, he didn’t know where he was, or the time of day, but that didn’t frighten him. Instead he was feeling very calm. He had come here looking for something, and now he believed he’d found it. The teen felt different, as if he’d found a part of himself that had been missing.
Eden wasn’t as unknowledgeable about certain things that others were. It was a wolf that had saved him. A wolf, and a man. One and the same. He wished he had a name to put to the face in his mind. Eden frowned slightly. Where was his wolf? He didn’t feel tired anymore at all. And he’d rather find another person than sit in bed and wait.
Pushing aside the covers he shivered as the air met with his warm skin. Climbing from the bed he stepped towards the dresser and began shuffling through it’s drawers, looking for some kind of clothing. But everything was way to big for him, and it all smelled the same, like freshly washed linen. For some reason he wanted something with a different scent to it.
Wrinkling his nose, Eden looked around the room again. To his delight, he caught sight of a black piece of clothing draped over the bottom of the bed’s frame. Picking it up he discovered it was a black t-shirt, nothing out of the ordinary. But when he held it to his face and inhaled, his nose was filled with a scent that sent a tingle along his spine. His wolf.

“You imprinted, Jett?” Ehlonna’s voice was filled with wonder, and an underlying happiness, at the news that had just been shared.
“And on a guy too, how lucky.” Koda’s words were sincere, since he knew his best friend preferred his own gender. It would have been unfortunate if Jett had imprinted on a female, since it likely would’ve made their leader unhappy.
Elder Teak smiled as he listened to the others responses, himself quite happy about the turn of events as well. It was about time Jett found his special someone. Whether it had been through falling in love, or through imprinting.
The young boy Jett had carried into the village last night was resting up in the storage house, where the Alpha was temporarily sleeping while the rest of the houses were being built. Teak had aided Jett in tending to his new mate, not wanting to bother Ehlonna or Koda so late in the evening, nor start gossip about the event. He had witnessed Jett’s already present and growing feelings of protectiveness and love, and it warmed the old man’s heart.
“Yeah.” Jett rubbed at his eyes, and Teak could sense his anxiousness. The dark haired male had spent the night in Dante’s tent, after the Elder had quietly explained the situation in few words. He probably hadn’t slept too well, and now that it was daylight he had no reason to stay away. Teak knew just what Jett needed to feel better.
“Ehlonna, would you be a dear and get me some more of that herbal tea you gave me the other day, it does taste so good. Dakoda, why don’t you go along with her and bring back the papers you’ve got on the building plans for the village, I didn’t get too good of a look at them last time.”
“You went through all that tea already? I guess you must like it.” Ehlonna chuckled as she stood, pushing her fiery curls out of her face. But Koda gave him a funny look, which made sense. Teak had spent more than an hour discussing the plans with the brunette, and so had no need to see them again. Teak wasn’t out of tea either, but Ehlonna didn’t need to know that. The old man cast a glance in Jett’s direction, and was pleased when Koda seemed to catch on quickly.
“Of course. Come on `Lonna, let’s go. You can stop off and give Brielle that herb she was asking for the other morning.” Koda gently guided his mate out the door, leaving Teak and Jett alone. Silence settled over them.
“You should go see him. He might be awake, and if so he could be hungry. He needs you.” Teak knew bringing up the possibility that his new mate might be in need of food, or anything else, would kick in Jett’s protectiveness, and his want to take care of the young boy.
“Needs me?” The words were barely whispered. After a small hesitation, Jett was gone from the room. The Elder smiled as he poked a stick into the fire to stir it up, thinking he’d heat some water for when Ehlonna brought him that tea.

The wooden door was staring Jett right in the face, beckoning him to open it. He knew what was on the other side, and his body told him to move, impatient to be reunited with it’s mate. His imprinted.
Jett had taken the small fore-room in the storage house, quite small, but enough to last until he got his own home. It also allowed him to protect their supplies and food from animals or anything else. Now it housed something a million times more important. Taking a slow deep breath, he placed his hand on the handle and pushed.
His dark eyes darted over the room, before meeting up with a pair of wide brown eyes. They simply stared at each other for a long moment. His mate was damn cute. Slowly, Jett stepped into the room and closed the door behind him. When the boy’s eyes moved lower to take in the rest of him, Jett took the opportunity to do the same. And about sprung a hard-on right then.
It wasn’t the boy’s naked state, for he was no longer naked, as Jett had left him. No, now he was wearing a black shirt. His black shirt. The one he’d been wearing yesterday. It was too big on the boy and fell down long enough to cover his bottom, barely. Jett dared to take a deep breath, and caught a whiff of the boy.
Instantly a growl scratched it his throat, trying to get out, as he was submerged in the sweet, delicious scent of the boy, that was also accompanied by his scent. The shirt had covered the boy in his scent, which sent a thrill of possessive wolfish pleasure through Jett.
Taking another breath, Jett looked up again. Those brown depths were fixed on him once more, filled with. . . .curiosity and something else. He was surprised by how calm the other male was, especially after his ordeal last night. Finally , he broke the silence, “I’m Jett. I- Do you need anything? Are you hungry? I know you might be confused about some things, but I can-”
The door suddenly opened, cutting Jett off. Turning around, feeling slightly annoyed at someone invading on his time with his mate, Jett’s eyes widened and he groaned lowly. “Jett, there you are!” No. Not her. “I’ve missed you so much!” Jett had to back up to avoid a hug the female tried to rope him into. “I just got here, why didn’t you tell me the tribe was moving? But no worries I made it.”
She continued to walk towards him, and Jett kept moving back. Hearing a soft sound behind him, he remembered the boy’s presence. He quickly darted behind the brown eyed boy, resting a hand lightly on his waist, feeling a tad bad about using the lovely male for makeshift protection, but enjoying the light touch none-the-less.
The young woman blinked in confusion at the action before her eyes narrowed, her lips puckering in distaste and her brows drawing down. “Hi Melody.”
