Chapter Six

It did not take long for my apartment to be painted. Embry had a few of the guys come over an help him. My things were moved in the next day. I was wondering how long it would take him to wonder why I had an extra room set up.

“Why do you have a second room?” Embry asked. “I was wondering how long it would take you to ask that” I said. “Well” he said. “My step brother is coming to live with me , he settling all the things that need to be done” I said.

“I didn’t know you had a step brother” he said. “ He lived with his mother till he 16 , she died from a gun shot wound” I said. “So , he coming to stay with you know” he said. “Jimmy’s a very shy person” I said. “ When is he coming?” Embry asked. “Probably be here in a couple days” I said. He pulled me into his arms. “So if I want to come for a late night visit , I have to sneak in?” he asked. “He’s 19” I said. “Be kind of fun though” he said winking.

“ I need to tell you something about Jimmy” I said seriously. “What is it?” he asked. “Jimmy , was in an accident when he was 12 , he lost all of his hearing” I said. “He’s deaf” Embry said. “Yeah , he’s kind of sensitive about it” I said.

“You know Seth sister Leah , works with adults who are deaf because of her mother” he said. “Maybe , she can help Jimmy adjust” I said. “Yeah or scare him off” Embry said. I gave him a look.

“ Will he be ok here when we go up to Canada?” he asked. “Yeah , I’ll have Jasper check on him , say he’s a cousin” I said. “Ok” he said.

“ Thank you for helping me with my apartment” I said sliding my arms around him. His hands slid down to my butt pulling me against him. We landed on the couch. I was sitting in his lap.

“Embry , where do you work?” I asked. “At a club , as a bouncer/bartender” he said playing with my hair. “What club?” I asked. He gave me a look not wanting to tell me. “Don’t tell me you work at a strip club” I said laughing. “ Yeah , well the other clubs won’t hire me because they don’t think , I’m strong enough” he said. I let out a laugh at the last part.

“Trust me , I hate working there” he said. “Why?” I asked. He gave me another look. “A GAY STRIP CLUB!” I said. He tackled me under him , so he could tickle me. “ Laugh it up” he said tickling me.

“Stop ,Stop , I’m sorry” I said. He kissed me quickly on the mouth. “Ok , your forgiven” he said hugging me. I could feel my phone going off in my pocket. I pulled it out pressing speaker.

“ Hey do you an Embry wanting go dancing tonight?” Alice asked. I looked at him arching an eyebrow. “Yeah , I can go Alice” Embry said. “Come by the house , I want to dress you both” Alice said. “Ok” I said.

Alice had given Embry an air tight bag with his clothes in it. I went up stairs with her to the other room. She had my clothes in an air tight bag also.

She put me in a long black flowly skirt. A black tank top lace up corset. An a pair of six inch lace up boots. I gave her a look , when she had finished with me.

“Where are we going? This is so not what I normally where” I said. “You have a good body Elena , show it off” she said. “I’m a size 12” I said. “Yeah , an I wish I had curves like that” she said.

She had changed into a purple an black shirt. A dark purple tutu skirt , with striped black leggings an strapy heals.

“Where we going ?” I asked her again. “You’ll see” she said. I hated not knowing where I was going.

“ALICE” I said annoyed. “Fine , I know a place , where Embry would have a better job” Alice said. “Where?” I asked. “Port Land , the clubs called Heat” she said. “Not a gay strip club right?” I asked. “No , but it‘s a couple‘s one” she said. I hugged her.

“Thanks” I said. “He’ll love it there” she said. “Good” I said.

The club was nothing like , I had ever seen before. There were people dressed up on line like we were. There were a few cage dancers. There was dancing acts on the stage. It was more on the line of weird cabaret dancing. There was dancing on the floor to.

There were tables with small screens on them to order food an drinks. We stood in line to check our coats which only took a minute.

“Wow , Elena you look hot” Embry said with his mouth open wide. “Come on take of the trench coat , I know Alice dressed you up” I said. He handed the coat to the girl getting his ticket.

I looked at him grinning. He was wearing a pair of black pants , that were a little baggy in the legs. He had on a black buttoned up shirt with the sleeves ripped off. He had on a red tie around his neck. The shirt showed off his tat.

“Let’s go get something to drink” Embry said putting an arm around my waist. We walked over to the bar. There was one stool left. Embry put me on it. He slid his arms thorough mine so he was close to me.

“Hey , what can I get you ?” the female bartender named Jessie asked. “Can I get a beer?” Embry asked. “Yeah , what kind , we have tap or ice cold bottle?” she asked. “How about a Bud from the bottle” he said. “Sure , anything for you?” she asked talking to me. “Yeah Triple Black , with a slice of lime” I said. “Oh , hard stuff” she said grinning. It took only a few moments to get the drinks. She looked a little frayed.

“ You looking for another bartender?” Embry asked. “Yeah , two of mine quit” she said running a hand through her hair. “ Um , I work at a club , I usually bartend an work as a bouncer to” Embry said. She gave him a look like he was kidding.

“He’s a lot stronger then he looks” I said. “My bouncer are at least 60lbs heavier then him” Jessie said. Embry had a cocky look on his face. “Do you know where Powers Gym is?” Embry asked. “Yeah” she said. “When this place closes meet us there , you’ll see” Embry said. “Ok” she said.

Embry an I had spent most of the night dancing together.
“Honey , I got to go the bathroom” Embry said. “Ok” I said. I was walking over to where Alice an Jasper were. I felt an arm around my wrist.

“Come an dance with me know that you lost the loser” a drunken male voice said. I tried to push the guy away but it didn’t work very well. “Let go off me!” I said angry. I kicked him in the balls.

“Stupid move….

Next thing I knew the guy was on the ground.Embry had the guy on the floor restrained.
I could see Jessie walking towards us , an another bouncer.

“DAMN , he took out Tom” the other guy said , picking up the drunk. “You are so hired , you can start on Friday come in at three so we can do paper work” Jessie said. “Thanks” he said.

“Are you ok?” he asked pulling me close to him. “Yeah , I’m fine” I said. He planted a hard kiss on my mouth. “Can we leave?” he asked me. “Yeah , I want to” I said.

Embry just held me the rest of the night.
