“What is that all you got?” I said to him as I walked on the liquid rock closer to him, the barrier extended bellow us in a circle so it wouldn’t melt the whole arena.
“I thought you said you were tough? So let’s go even higher like how about the same temp of the universe when Chaos created it with the big bang.” I said as I only release the heat for a mere second. In that instant the ground around me turned to a vapor and even the atoms themselves spit into smaller substances called quark.
But in that instant I cut the heat as the dude floated in a shield I put around him in that second.
“You see I am Percy Jackson son of Chaos I control the universe at my whim. So when I say stop I mean stop, next time I see you do something like that I will put you at the same fate of this matter around me.” I said motioning to the emptiness I floated in.
“Got that.” I said as he nodded s I rewound time to the arenas perfect condition. I then deposited the trash onto the ground were proper authorities apprehended him.
“Good now let’s restart this finals without that trash in our arena.” I shouted to the crowd as they all went ballistic in cheers I guess.
“Now that is what I call a show.” I said as I jumped out right to the seven and a waiting couple.
NOW:
ONE WEEK BEFORE BATTLE:
PERCY POV:
I sat at a council table as Athena went over everything with every god, and I mean every god, Nordic, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, etc. They were separated by powers at this point like fire, death, sky, lighting, and others. The main goal of this was to help me as much as possible while, that included in all aspects.
“Percy where do you wish to set up the defensive line of fire gods.” She said as I thought about it.
“Well I only have to use their power once so somewhere close, but only for a moment. But they will get the message when I need them there.” I said as she nodded marking down the plan as we went along.
“Wait how will we get to him in time if he does need our help elsewhere?” Asked on of the Egyptians.
“I have that in order.” I said as I snapped my fingers, as I did a small device appeared in everyone’s hands.
“This will let you teleport to my position if I give you the message, don’t worry you won’t pop up right next to me just about a mile away from me.” I said as they all nodded and put away the device.
“But what if we run out of juice?” Said another.
“Then you will automatically be transported to Iris and the other gods and goddesses that can provide a picture of the battle. Since her powers don’t take up much energy you all can regain power while helping provide some to her and the others as well.” I said as they all agreed.
“The video will be plaid to all of the people of the world. As it does play to them they will pray for us and thus give us all power. That is why I am broadcasting my fight.” I said as I answered the unasked question.
“But Percy what about the gods who don’t have war or battle type abilities?” Asked Hera this time as I agreed with her.
“They will help provide energy to the resting war type gods.” I said.
“Athena I think you can take if from here I need some alone time to think okay.” I said as she nodded and started to give off battle strategies to the gods who would be providing me cover fire and other things.
I stood up and walked out of the massive council room which was a football stadium to be exact, it was the only thing big enough to seat each and every god for every religion. I stepped into a small office room with a couple of seats in it.
“Percy you okay?” I heard as I turned to see all seven of them at the door.
“Yeah you can come in.” I said with a smile as they all came down and took a seat. At this phase of pregnancy they all showed a lot and constantly got little kicks from my kids.
“What is wrong?” Artemis asked as I looked around at them.
“I have been thinking of something.” I said.
“I think all of you shouldn’t participate in this battle.” I said, as usual I got a wave of what’s and no’s.
“Percy no matter how much don’t want us to we will fight for our home got that.” Hera said to me as they others agreed with her.
“Please I beg of you just don’t.” I said again as they all got sad faces.
“Percy we realize your intentions are always in the best of our interest but I am telling you, you cannot stop us from helping no matter what.” Artemis said giving me a side hug.
“…” I stayed silent as I rested my head on Artemis’s shoulder looking at them.
“Fine but let me do something for you all then.” I said as I raised my hand and a dark glow emitted from them for a second then vanished.
“What did you do?” Piper asked as she tried to feel around if I changed anything.
“I just made is so if Abyss targets you all somehow you will be teleported to my side and covered in one of my strongest shields.” I said as they all seemed a little taken away I put up such a strong countermeasure against him.
“Thank you.” Zoë said silently as the others did as well.
“By the way I have been thinking about something.” Hestia said as we all turned to her.
“Tartarus faded right?” She said as we all nodded.
“You got his domain right?” She asked again as I nodded.
“I noticed it wasn’t one of the domains our children were given, by chance did you give it to Khione?” She asked me.
“No I gave it to Gaea, Khione’s child I gave the domain over all of winter as a new one I made. But I gave it to Gaea it seemed fitting for her, the pit is in the earth so why not?” I asked as they all seemed happy with this decision.
“That is fine with me.” Artemis said out load as the others agreed.
“Percy while we are at it we all have gift for you.” Bianca said as she brought out a small box, I grabbed it as I raised an eyebrow.
I slowly opened the blue box with a bow, as I finally fully opened it I was surprised to see what was inside. It shiny black locket that looked like a rectangle, I looked around to see them urging me to open. As I did open it I found two pictures, one was of my family with Sally. It had Gaea, a pregnant Sally, Paul, and their daughter Emily.
I couldn’t help but smile at the photo as I looked at it, then I looked at the other one. It was the seven and me when we went rabbit hunting on my mother’s planet. I had piper on my shoulders, Artemis on my lap, Hera to my right, Hestia to my left. Zoe was sitting in Hestia’s lap, Bianca was in Hera’s lap, and Khione was down below leaning up against the giant bunny.
The locket was about the size of my thumb on a golden chain as I looked over it. Then I turned it over to see my initials in the metal. P.J. it said in cursive as I looked it over and closed it, it was truly a beautiful thing.
“So do you like it?” Zoë asked as they all waited for my answer.
“I love it.” I said as I put it on and tucked it into my shirt for safe keeping.
“It is made of the same metal your armor is made of so it won’t break.” Bianca said to me.
“Wait how did you get the metal?” I asked.
“You’re not the only one who can talk to Beta and Alpha.” Artemis said as I just laughed.
“Well I will always keep it on my no matter what I promise.” I said as they all had a smile on their face.
“So you guys want to go back to the meeting?” I asked.
“No.” They all said in unison without a second of hesitation.
“So then where do you guys want to go then?” I asked them.
“Out to eat?” Artemis suggested as the rest thought about it.
“I don’t see why not it is almost dinner time.” Hera said as the others nodded.
“So where do you guys want to go to eat?” I asked.
“How about we just have a family dinner?” Hestia asked a the other thought this over.
“Then who will cook then?” Piper asked.
“I will.” I said as they all seemed to agree at this.
“Then it is decided, so let’s go home and get cooking.” I said as they all nodded and flashed out leaving me alone in the room for a minute.
“I only hope it can be this happy forever.” I said to myself as I warped out to my realm to cook dinner for them.

DAY OF BATTLE:
TIME NOON:
PERCY POV:
I stood with the six and Khione in the middle of Oklahoma, all we could do was watch the ship descend, as it entered the atmosphere. All the people around the world were watching the one way iris message as she was showing the ship as I descended. The world was silent in this moment as the time of the great battle was upon us.
Every person around the world had set up prayer stand to giver offerings to each god that was fighting. Every demigod was being used as I energy supply for the gods, they didn’t mind at all it was something that helped us survive. I just stood my arms around the six as they all looked up with fear in their eyes.
Something then shot off the ship like a pod as it descended into the atmosphere. The tension could be cut with a knife it was so thick as the whole world anticipated what was going to happen. In the sky was every god that possessed power over lighting, some were flying some were in chariots, others were in chariots hitching a ride.
Zeus sat in his Chariot with a Nordic thunder god other than Thor as he watched the pod finally hit the ground a few football fields away. The area that we were in was desolate and dead nothing but a desert for miles around us. The pod crashed into the ground with a loud thum as it sounded in the distance.
“You must leave now.” I said to the seven as they all looked at me with teary eyes.
“We love you Percy don’t you forget it.” Artemis said as she cried into my shirt as the others did the same.
“Don’t worry I will be fine okay now you must leave.” I said as they all gave me one last kiss before they teleported off.
As the last one finished teleporting the figure that got out of the pod a little bit ago was abut twenty feet from me. The grey bubble that surrounded him barely reached my toes as I looked into his pale white eyes.
“Hello Percy it is good to see you.” Abyss said with a smile.
“I cannot say the same Abyss.” I said, all he did was take off his hood and look up at the sun.
“I thought there would be more people.” He said.
“Yeah thanks to the little virus this land is uninhabitable for mortals.” I said as he laughed.
“Well I cannot argue with that, it was a very interesting virus I made. It can only be contracted by mortal and cannot go more than a mile off shore. But I didn’t come here to chit chat and you know that.” He said with a sadistic smile.
“I would ask why but I know the reason why you want to destroy me my mother told me before she passed.” I said as she nodded in agreement.
“She was sneaky about you wasn’t she, but I came to tell you something else I plan to do after I kill you and most of these gods. I plan to destroy the Chaos bloodline no matter what, trust me that doesn’t mean just you but your children as well. But I won’t kill your wives instead I will force them to abort the children then make them bare my own.”
“That way you can watch your world crumble around you as you watch from the realm of the faded. But if I manage to not kill you before that all happens I will make you watch every day as I torture them with my own hands. As I rip the very babies from their bodies, and replace them with my own.” He said, I just kept my face as emotionless as possible trying not to get angry at this.
“Oh by the way I think you might have wanted this.” He said as he pointed his finger as her remembered something. He reached in his cloak and took out something wrapped in a black sheet. He just tossed it to my feet as I just watched it for a minute.
“Just pick it up I promise I didn’t booby trap it or anything. I may not look it but I don’t like using tactics like that.” He said as I leaned down and picked it up.
I slowly unfolded the wrapped object and almost dropped it as I looked at what it was. It was a hand a females hand to be exact. But that wasn’t what almost made me drop it; on the ring finger was a ring but not any ring but a pitch black one. In the middle of the ring was the capital letter C, deep in the crystal. It was my mother’s hand, I just held onto it as I looked at the perfect hand and the crystal ring on it.
“You like it? I hope so I snagged it from your mother right before I left her vacation planet. I have been using a freezer to keep it fresh for ya I hope you don’t mind.” He said with a sick and twisted smile as I kept looking at the hand.
But I slowly and carefully picked up the hand from the piece of cloth and slowly took off her ring. As I gently put her hand back in the cloth I teleport it to a time stopped dimension I use to keep things safe. I slowly looked over the ring as I held it in my hand; slowly I put it on as it became part of the armor on my hand.
“So I see you like it huh.” He said as he took off his black cloak and tossed it aside, he had a skinny frame but still was muscular. He rolled his shoulders and stretched as I just looked at my hand and the ring that was embedded in the glove of my armor.
“Abyss I think I have come to a decision I had in my mind when you got here. I will no longer consider you a person of a sane nature. But instead you are monster one that must be removed from this universe. I will kill you but you won’t get the mercy of the realm of the faded, instead I will burn your soul as fuel for the river of insanity.” I said as my helmet then went up and I got into battle position.
“Just what I wanted to hear from the son of Chaos.” He said as he also got into battle position.
THRID PERSON POV:
Percy launched the first strike as he rushed at Abyss, he covered the distance in-between then in an instant as he threw the first fist. Percy didn’t use his sword or powers yet but just to make sure what this grey bubble was he tried using his powers to find he couldn’t. He quickly came to the conclusion that the bubble didn’t allow powers to be used while in it.
But that didn’t concern him as he made a quick uppercut at Abyss, but almost as fast as Percy he dodged it and stepped back a step. But just after the punch was throne Percy launched another one at him, but he continued to dodge or block.
Nature itself was bound by Percy’s strength as each punch he threw let off a loud boom as it passed the speed of sound and even then some. The wind roared around him with each punch as he let out furry upon Abyss. But all Abyss did was dodge and run as Percy’s punches missed him, but then Percy decided to go up a notch.
Seeing as this wasn’t working that much Percy put even more strength and speed in his punches with his godly strength. All the gods could do was watch as Percy continued to strike at Abyss restlessly. Finally one of the punches connected with Abyss’s forearm as he was force to put up that defense as Percy stuck him.
The damage was much more severe than the gods ever thought a single punch could do. The air shivered as Percy put his full godly strength into the hit, the ground cracked as the force finally began to move Abyss. With a massive boom the ground cracked miles in diameter almost leveling the Deseret they were in.
Abyss launched through the air with a speed greater than any human could ever reach; he let out a whistling sound as he flew through the air strait towards a mountain a few miles away. Percy stood still watching him fly away as he caught his breath for a quick second. He stepped over the cracks in the ground as he began to run in the direction of Abyss flew off.
With one push off the ground a crater the size of a football stadium formed as Percy launched into the air with great speed. By this time Abyss met the mountain with a great force, the mountain shook as it also formed a crater in the side of it.
“Damn that kid has a punch, have to be careful around that.” He said as he wiped his mouth and slowly stood up.
Then from the sky fell Percy, with swift moment her brought down both fists on Abyss. The effect on the terrain was that of a nuclear bomb. The ground broke apart as the dust littered the air in a mushroom cloud. The Mountain then broke in half as it couldn’t take the force from the impact.
But as the mushroom cloud finished forming something shot from it and sailed in the direction of the nearest city. Like a missile the being collided with a building and decimated it but kept going as he ran through them like water. Finally he came to a halt he finished digging his trench in the pavement.
Percy coughed a little as he slowly got out of his man had trench with minor injury, but he body pulsed with adrenaline as he stood up and looked in the direction of the mountain a couple hundred miles off.
“Begin phase one now.” He said into his helmet as the message relayed to all the gods in charge of the sky.
“Roger that, lighting of the sky is about commence.” Zeus said back as the sky began to turn a black and lighting started to role across it like water.
“I will buy you time okay but get that ball ready in ten minutes that what you have.” Percy said as he blocked a punch from Abyss out of nowhere. The shockwave from the hit shattered windows that hadn’t been shattered and shook the buildings. Abyss gave him a smile that said this was the most fun he has had in all of his life.
“Haha wonderful absolutely wonderful, not even your mother could match my punches let alone block them. I think I might keep you as a play thing for a while longer after I defeat you.” Abyss said as he stuck again sending Percy through a couple more buildings.
“Don’t count on it you monster.” Percy spat as he stood up and dusted himself off, just in that moment Abyss was again by his side. But this time Percy was prepared as Abyss launched a punch at him. With great accuracy he summoned just the blade of Crimson Sky, the blade barely touched Abyss’s skin as he stopped the punch.
Only in that moment of hesitation did Percy launch an arrow from the hole that took place of his bow. The arrow in a short distance reached Abyss’s right chest and sent him flying into a nearby car, triggering the alarm. Abyss slowly stood up and pulled out the arrow, the wound closed a second later.
“Not bad, but it still looks like you have much to learn.” He said as he was suddenly gone, Percy searched for his power signature but couldn’t find it. But then he looked up as he heard a wailing sound from above. Falling from a dark sky was none other than the space ship Abyss rid here on.
“Percy to lighting crew move project to secure location away from this.” He said.
“Roger.” The said as the giant ever ball of lighting began to move west closer to the coast.
“Abyss you crazy asshole.” Percy said as he teleported away to California as he could watch the ship come down from the height it was at.
He could only watch as the ship met ground and then exploded, even as far away as he was he could see the monstrous explosion consume the sky. It must have been running off of a couple nuclear reactors to achieve such an explosion. But as soon as the explosion began Percy caught a small signature of Abyss’s power.
He turned around to only have time to summon the shield of Eternal bonds and block the blow to his head. The hit connected with the shield with a loud rumble but Percy stayed in place as the ringing stayed in his ears. The shock wave blew away a good portion of ground around Percy but not the stuff right behind him.
“Damn I thought I had you that time.” Abyss said taking a small jump back and landing on a small rock.
“Yeah so did I.” Percy said as he summoned full weapons so both shield parts and blades were out. But then Percy notice the grey bubble was gone and the blades were ringing with their normal power on Crimson Sky was the normal Greek fire on it while Eternal Bonds had it vibrating water on it.
“Where is your little bubble?” Percy asked as he got himself ready again.
“Oh I can only use if for a short time then I have to recharge it.” He said as he pulled a tree from the ground and swung it like a bat.
They charged each other slicing and hammering away as the landscaped suffered the consequences from the battle.
“Percy the ball is ready to drop.” Zeus said with a huge heave in his voice sounding like he ran a marathon.
“Okay move it over me and let it drop, don’t worry about me just let it drop.” Percy said as he sliced another branch off the tree as he continued rolling and dodging.
After a few moments everything stopped even Abyss and Percy as they could feel the static electricity in the air. They looked at the sky to look upon a master piece, in the sky the size of a large building was a ball of pure energy or lighting. Percy wasted no time jumping up into the sky as Abyss just looked up in amazement.
“Teleport and movement blockers you are up.” Percy said as he felt the lighting gods leave the battle field and new ones come. In a second as Percy poured even more power into the ball as Abyss suddenly got an agitated look on his face.
“You think their week bonds will keep me in place!” He said as he tried to move but couldn’t.
“If you are wondering why you can’t break free is because their powers are being pushed to the max right now. This is the only time I need them in this battle so they are using everything to keep you in place.” Percy said as Abyss just grew an angry face.
“AHHH!” He screamed as he barely moved on foot then another, Percy caught the sign then began to descend with the ball of power upon Abyss.
LINEBREAK:
All the people of earth watched as Percy descended on Abyss from above with his weapon. The gods held their breath as well as they came closer and closer. Artemis and the rest just looked in worry as the scene happened but as they both collided they all closed their eyes in fear of the scene that was happening.
You could see the attack from space very well as all of California lit up like a candle on it, but it didn’t pass over into the ocean almost as if a barrier just held it back in California. You could see the land burning in massive fires as it spread all over the state. You could see the land almost melt from the heat and the power, but finally after almost an hour the light died down to almost nothing.
The IM started to zoom in on the spot Percy was supposedly supposed to be at, as it did it found two figures standing but one didn’t look so hot. Abyss stood his shit completely gone and a giant black circle on his chest, he suddenly coughed out some blood and spit on the ground. Percy stood there but he look tired as well but not any damage anywhere.
“Damit that was rough.” Abyss said as he stood up looked up Percy.
“That isn’t it either.” He said as suddenly the ocean began to move, and I mean a massive part of the ocean. It didn’t go straight towards them but above them as Percy grinned as Abyss still tried to catch his breath.
“I wouldn’t activate that bubble of yours because if you do all of this is coming down on us and I am pretty sure you won’t like that.” Percy said as finally the last piece of water formed into the giant bubble. But this bubble was about the same size of Idaho in a flat state. But that wasn’t all that was going to happen.
The bubble suddenly foze in the shape of Califorina and sat floating right above the whole state as Abyss just looked up at it.
“You wouldn’t dare.” He said as Percy just nodded.
“Oh but I would.” Percy said as suddenly the thing began to drop, you could feel all of the air moving from underneath it as it fell.
“You would sacrifice a whole portion of your home country just to kill me?” Abyss asked as he stood up straight.
“Absolutely.” Percy said as he suddenly moved to Abyss in a split second and punched him up. He sailed straight up to the giant block of ice as he collided with it, it didn’t break but the force of it falling was enough to hold Abyss in position.
“All gods pull out, the ice berg is falling.” Percy said as he teleported to the nearest and safest place still in America or Nevada. In a minute the glacier met the ground but as it did you could feel the plate on California slip and finally go as it all went downhill for abyss at this point. The ground shook at immeasurable amount but Percy didn’t mind as he prepared the next stage of this massive attack.
“Lava god you are on and Atlas come to me.” Percy said as Atlas with his sky suddenly appeared by his side. Atlas was on their side as much as he hated Percy he couldn’t let his home be destroyed. Just then you could see the ice and earth began to crack and become one as they mixed in the massive earth quake Percy and all of the fault gods were helping with.
But that wasn’t all as suddenly lava stared to pour form the ground and mix with the other stuff as well. The desolate land that was once California is now a mountain of ice, lava, and desolate land from the lighting bomb with Abyss buried underneath.
“Percy is it time?” Atlas asked as Percy nodded.
“It is time.” Percy said as he grabbed his arm and teleported the two above the now ruined state. They floated a couple miles above the area as Percy kept Atlas afloat with some powers.
“Atlas I lift this burned be lifted from you.” Percy said as Atlas nodded and slipped he sky off his shoulders and headed straight toward California.
In that instant Percy had fifteen second as he teleported Atlas away and the other gods as the sky then collided with the surface of the earth for the first time in a long time. The explosion was beyond what Percy could imagine, as he teleported to space to look at the destruction.
Percy held the barrier keeping all of the damage isolated to America as the massive wave of destruction could be seen trekking its way across the country. But that wasn’t it as he them teleported all of the nuclear bombs on top of it as well getting an even bigger explosion centered just on California or what was left of it and its neighboring states.
LINEBREAK:
2 DAYS LATER: EXPLOSION STOPPED AT THIS TIME
Percy teleported down to the middle of Nevada of the new western coast of the old US. The sky seemed calm as well as it met its long lost partner in it destructive reunion. But Percy could tell after the main meeting the sky and land had lost its connections and stood and stood strong as two separate things.
“Percy is it over?” He heard Piper ask as they were all watching from the IM message.
“I don’t know yet I must wait.” Percy said as he sat down and just watched the new land and sea meet for the first time. But in that instant Percy shiver and was suddenly hit by something square in the chest, he was sent flying back into the dessert of land that was now the US. He tried to sit up but suddenly a foot was planted on his chest and forced him into the ground.
“See you had to go and make me mad didn’t you.” Abyss said as he stopped Percy even farther into the ground in an ever growing crater.
“H-.” Percy tried but he was just stomped harder into the ground.
“Shh don’t speak okay.” He said patting his head but suddenly reaching form his arm and started to pull on it with all of his might. Percy screamed in pain as Abyss dislocated his shoulder but the armor didn’t tear.
“Come ON!” Abyss screamed as he yanked with all of his might and as suddenly the armor around the shoulder tore off but Percy was luck as his arm slipped out of it and fell limp to his side. Percy was immensely weak at this point those massive attacks took up most of his energy, even with two days’ rest he could tell Abyss was over powering him.
“Hey say something will you.” He said as he kicked him into the side of the crater like a rock, all Percy could do was cough out his platinum blood on the rock as he tried to get up. But as he tried Abyss just kicked his arm out from underneath him to let him fall on the ground.
“Come on you got me exited now so use you powers over everything to kill me like you said oh wait is this getting in your way?” He said gesturing to the grey bubble that was back.
“Ouch.” Was all Percy said as he stood up finally with the good arms sword elongated and ready.
“Really you think that will do anything against me now?” Abyss asked as he suddenly appeared in front of him and punch him into the wall. At this time the whole earth could be seen in tears as Percy was losing a battle for his life. The seven were being held back by the other Olympians as they yelled at them to let them aid him in his fight.
“Father please let me go I have to help.” Artemis screamed as Zeus held her back with Hades.
“Artemis you are in shape to fight, you just can’t carelessly sacrifice this body to the battle. You are not the only one using it anymore.” He said in a sad voice as Artemis just cried in her eyes out as did the rest as they gave up on trying to leave but to only watch what was happening.
“Percy I suggest you say you have had enough look at yourself you can’t even stand without aid of your sword.” Abyss said as he sat on a rock as Percy slowly got up, it had stared to rain on this land and the mud was starting to form on the ground.
“Never in my life will I give up to you Abyss never will I give up on trying to kill you.” Percy said in heavy breaths as he finally managed to standup.
“Well then it is your funeral.” Abyss said as he leapt up and planted a hard kick to Percy’s temple as he sent him flying across the carter into him other wall.
“Ow, man I think he did more damage than I thought.” Abyss said as he rubbed his head as pain coursed through it. Abyss walked over to Percy who was on his back coughing but suddenly his helmet opened revealing Percy’s faces as a pool of platinum blood poured out of it onto the ground.
“Looks like you don’t have much longer left my friend so I will give you a gift okay.” Abyss said tapping his head and walking away. Abyss snapped his fingers as seven weird looking portals opened up, Abyss reach in each one and pulled out Percy’s worst nightmare.
In each portal Abyss pulled out in order Artemis, Hestia, Hera, Piper, Bianca, Zoë, and Khione. Percy’s face was covered in tears as they saw him and ran over to him. There were no words exchanged by them just silent tears as Percy wept in their arms, he didn’t ever want them this close to Abyss ever.
“You… m-must r-run.” Percy said as they all looked at him with teary eyes.
“No we will die with you got that.” Artemis said in tears as she kissed his bloody lips gently.
“Yeah.” The rest agreed as they helped Percy up as Abyss stood a few feet away.
“A love what a beautiful thing don’t you think, but you know what is even more beautiful is love when it is ripped right out of your hands don’t you think Percy?” Abyss asked as Percy grew wide eyes and suddenly turned around to them to teleport them away. But he was too late as one large strange looking portal opened up and pulled all seven away from Percy’s grin.
The last Percy saw was the look on their faces that showed that they had accepted death at this point. That they were going to die, but on their faces were tears as well saying they didn’t want to die. But even in that split second as Percy tried to grab Hera’s hand as it was pulled into the vortex he heard something from them all mentally.
“Percy, please live for us okay. If you can move on.” They all said as the portal closed as Percy grew closer, only to see something that stopped him in his tracks. They all had a smile on their teary faces one of love and gratitude as it closed leaving Percy alone with abyss as he crumpled to his knees.
Abyss then began laughing as Percy just starred blankly as the rain poured down on him in sheets.
“Oh my god you should see your face Percy, oh my god! Well I hope you know that they are gone for good that is a black hole or my power, it doesn’t leave any trace of existence of them.” Abyss said as Percy just looked at the last spot he saw their faces.
“Hey did you hear me, or do I have to repeat myself. They are gone G-O-N-E gone they are never coming back… Come on show my some tears or emotion for my sake!” Abyss said as he patted Percy’s head as just continued looking forward.
“…” Percy said something.
“What I can’t hear you, you will have to speak over my overwhelming victory!” Abyss shouted in his ear but still no response.
“I said I am going to kill you.” Percy said as he turned to Abyss who just looked up and laughed at him.
“What can a broken son of Chaos who just lost his lovers do huh, can you tell me that?” He asked as he continued laughing, he then kicked Percy into the mud and continued laughing.
In this moment all sounds stooped for Percy, the sound of the earth rumbling, the sound of yellow stone erupting, the sound of everything stopped as he heard only one sound.
“Percy reach deep inside you, you will find the power that not even Chaos herself could acquire. Reach deep young hero and you will find the power to kill Abyss like a bug on the street.”
The voice said to Percy, but he didn’t know who the voice was at all. It didn’t sound like his mothers or any other female he knew but he that the voice was helping him so he dug deep like the voice said.
He dove past the empty dams of power into the hole they always poured in, deeper and deeper he went. The temperature kept dropping and dropping as he dove almost unbearable for him but he kept going. He just kept falling and falling as the frost began to gather on his skin, then ice, and more as he fell.
But then he saw a light as he kept going and going, his body quickly becoming a human ice cycle. With the last unfrozen piece of his arm and head he reached for the light and with a second to spare absolute frozenness he slipped into the light. But what he was expecting was not this in the small lighten area was a small stream no larger than his hand.
He stepped closer to it but then he sensed something odd about it like it shouldn’t ever be seen with human eyes or any eye by that matter.
“Good job Percy you found what is going to help you win, but with this you become a being that transcends thought itself. A being that is one with all worlds at the same time, this is the river of Chaos of the heart of it all. This small river connects everything in this universe, with its power. But you will be the second being in this universe to be able to use this power.”
“So go and kill him end this universe suffering.”
As she finished Percy opened his eye to find he was in the same moment of time as Abyss was laughing at him. But know he knew that his words that his will kill Abyss were no long an empty threat.
