"You are full of mystery son of Poseidon." She said as she smacked me harder than a gentle playful one.
"You can say that again." I said to her.
"So were will I be staying anyways?" I asked her.
"Oh you will sleep outside my room for the night." She said as I coughed once.
"What why?" I asked her.
"From your display of power just now I want you as a guard for my room, don't worry you will get a sleeping bag." She said in a serious tone as I said something I shouldn't have.
"You make it sound like you can't take care of yourself or are afraid of assassins." I kidded as she stopped and I bumped into her. She didn't say anything but her hand was shaking for some reason.
"I guess someone like you doesn't know the history of me do they, let me tell you in the time before this of my last reform I was assassinated in my sleep. While I was reforming I watched my first capital turn to ruin and complete ash from a raid. Why do you think I don't want the battle to take place where Jupiter and Venus want it."
"That place is where the last capital of my continent was." She said as she teleported away leaving me with a thousand thoughts in my mind.
NOW:
PERCY POV:
The week was long as I could imagine it, over the week Diana and the hunters were constantly moving around. They shopped nearly every day for different things, but I even was able to buy things as well. One Drachma was about five thousand human dollars I calculated, so once the girls found out I had a few they went to town.
"Boy how did you come to have this many drachmas?" Diana asked me as we watched the huntresses go to town on everything, from revealing swim suits to items such as purses or small house hold items.
"I have my secrets; also my hoodie has an unlimited supply of them. Also I have a good amount of aureus in storage as well but they aren't unlimited." I said to her as she starred at me funny.
"Hoodie?" She asked me.
"Oh right my cloak and tattered shirt can turn into a black hoodie, think of a semi-thick shirt with the hood of a cloak." I said as she seemed to think about it.
"Show me." She said as I sighed.
"Yes ma'am." I said as she looked intrigued as it suddenly shifted from my old rags to a black hoodie with the symbol of my universes creator on it. The hood covered my face like the cloak did but the hoodie was clean this time completely black but I noticed it had a zipper down the front now.
Also on the front it had a blue trident on the front right over my right chest, while it had a cross of all of my lover's symbols that would be on Eternal bonds over my heart. It didn't cross over the zipper but just stayed its normal cross form, with all the symbols in the right places.
"So this is my hoodie." I said turning to her as I also noticed it was thinner as well almost the same thin fabric that jogging suits were made of. It made it much more fashionable as well; it looked pretty good on me if I had to say so.
"Looks more presentable then your normal rags for sure, stay in that clothed form got it. I may not look it but I want even my slaves to appear semi good." She said to me as she looked at me funny.
"You haven't ever seen a hoodie before well jacket at this point." I said to her as she seemed to look up and look at something else.
"So…" She said to me as that blew my mind.
"Wow I thought this place would have something like that, there are winters here right?" I asked her.
"Yes but we use fur coats from animals that we hunt, so we never really come to town to get new design clothes. So shut up slave got it, I don't want to hear another word out of you." She commanded in a embarrassed tone as I preformed the zipper on my lips and threw away the thing.
"Mistress look at this." One of the hunters said as they ran up with something in their hands, as I got a closer look it was a winter hunting coat. That had white camo on it and looked just like any hoodless hunting coat would.
"What is that?" She asked them.
"It's a hunting coat." I said as the jerked her head to me as I backed up with my hand on my lips.
"Well as the slave said it is a hunting coat but mistress can we buy them?" She asked her with a pleading voice.
"Why what is wrong with your current winter coat?" She asked them as they got sour faces.
"Mistress have you smelt them lately they are getting old so I think it is time for a upgrade in clothes and everything for the hunt what do you think?" She asked as if she had rehearsed it or was told to by the others, but by the look on her face the old clothes they had were pretty bad.
"Well I don't know…" Diana tried as their faces went from normal to puppy dog faces, apparently they weren't going to let this go.
"I don't the old stuff is g-." She was cut off by the one holding the jacket.
"Mistress the old stuff was around before I got in the hunt even before Elizabeth was in the hunt, that was over three thousand years ago. I think it is time for a upgrade." She said again this time more like she was talking to a kid who liked its broken toy but refuse to through it away.
"But I don't think we have enough money…" She tried but then I intervened.
"I have a few more drachmas hidden away I think they will be enough." I said as the hunters looked like a new option had opened.
"Yeah how much boy?" The one asked me.
"A couple hundred, in my dimension they weren't worth as much so I have a lot." I said as their eyes widened, I reached in my magical pocket and summoned a bag of them and held it up for them and Diana to look in.
"I think this should cover it." I said as Diana had a face of betrayal on my part.
"…Okay got get everything we need, from tents to magical items. I mean everything so armor room, grinding stones, refrigerators, dishwashers, even plates and magical tables. Got get everything we need, I believe Hephaestus has a list of everything we have so go to him. Don't forget about clothes while you are at it." She said in defeat as they cheered in victory as I handed them the bag as they ran off.
"You are so getting it." She said as soon as they were out of hearing range.
"How so?" I asked her.
"I won't make it so all of the items they buy are weightless in their magical places, but just for you so the others can lift them easily." She said in a voice that held no mercy.
"Damnit." I cursed as she smiled at me.
"Well I hoped they at least get a new kitchen supplies, even I have to say that they were getting bad." She said as I nodded.
"Just wait until I get proper supplies then my cooking will improve to beyond anything you can imagine. So good in fact that the taste of nectar and ambrosia will change to it." I said to her.
"Don't get full of yourself, yes your meals are not half bad but they won't be that good." She said to me as I raised an eyebrow.
"Want to make a bet on that?" I said to her as she raised an eyebrow.
"Listen to you a slave making a bet with their master, you have guts for such a shy person." She said to me.
"Like I said if you pry I am not shy at all." I said to her.
"So what is this bet you suggest?" She asked me.
"If I can get you to say that my food is delicious or better than anything you have ever had, you have to… Ah you have to call me by my name and not boy or male." I said to her as she raised an eyebrow.
"You don't have to treat me as an equal but just call me by my name or Percy." I said again as she thought about it.
"Deal but if you lose you have to do something for me instead." She said with hidden evil in her voice.
"What would that be?" I asked her.
"You have to strip in front of the whole hunt. Then you have to act as a target and run through the forest while they hunt you for a couple of hours." She said evilly as I gulped.
"Deal." I said as I shook her hand, she then let go and put her hand on her temple as if sending a message.
"What did you just do?" I asked her.
"Oh I sent a message to the hunt to get the most expansive ingredients, even if they don't use them all they will be fine in a Vulcan made infinity fridge." She said to me.
"Let me guess it can store an unlimited amount of ingredients and meals?" I asked her.
"Yep." She said popping the p.
"That reminds me of something." I said as I remembered my faithful backpack with its limitless storage space.
"Of what?" She asked me.
"Oh nothing." I said she just blew me off and began walking as I followed her in my nice looking jacket and tattered blue or pale blue jeans.
LINEBREAK:
ONE WEEK LATER:
Well all of the hunters went crazy on shopping that is for sure, they all have the newest and state of the art everything for the camp. They even were able to get new armor and clothes as well, from normal go out clothes to winter hunting ones. But what really made me laugh on the inside was when they burned all of their old stuff.
The look on their faces was bliss while Diana's was depression as the old gear went up in flames, but the good things the girls also bought her clothes as well. She didn't like the idea that the new clothes weren't white but I had to admit it they looked good on her. Most were normal clothes but she made them look good, the hunters with their new camera in hand took hundreds of pictures.
Which is funny because the capital may not look all technologically advanced but it is, actually it is even more advanced then earth was. I also found out thanks to a certain new god that I had never heard of I think his name is techno or whatever. But thanks to him this whole planet even in the massive sea had free WIFI. Not the slow kind either but like it will load any video in like five seconds and then some.
But currently the hunters were taking a group photo in their new summer outfits with Diana in the front. They even went through the trouble of getting this slave a new pair of pants, which was funny I think it was because I gave them the money. But it didn't change much of how they acted around me.
"Boy get in the photo." One demanded as I stopped going over the inventory list to see if we had everything.
"Why?" I asked her, my voice had changed from timid to normal but it would change occasionally.
"Even though you are a slave you deserve to be in one photo." She said to me as I sighed and got up.
"Take off the hood for the photo." She said as I sighed.
"You didn't tell them yet I am surprised you didn't." I said to Diana who was sitting on a rock looking away from me. She wore a simple summer clothes but I never noticed her skin was as tan as I thought it was. But it was quiet revealing for an 18 year old posing goddess. It had short shorts with a brown leather belt, something that had the design of a doily but it was half a shirt.
She had on a black bra underneath and the shirt thing had long strips some had beads that ran down to her belt revealing her tan smooth stomach. Her light auburn hair was in a straightened style but it still had volume. It complimented her sharp eyes as she looked at me.
"No I didn't, well now is a good time right. To put it simply girls he is cursed to keep the hood on, but one day hopefully in the next two months if we can get all of these curses off of him then we will be able to see his face." She said simply as the others seemed surprised but seemed to just interest them more.
"Okay well get in here." She said as I nodded and walked up.
I stood by Diana as she sat on her rock while all the others were around us, they all made smiling faces a I just angled my hood to make it look like I was looking off at something. Diana held a smile/grin while she held up her head with one arm. The rest were all doing crazy things as they all posed for the time photo.
With a click the photo was taken and we all dispersed to get a look at the photo.
"Wow the boy almost looks like a devil of a sort doesn't he, not even the camera can get past the curse." Elizabeth said as she showed it to us all, it was true my hood made it look like it was black hole that let in no light. I kind of looked out of place in the photo but it still looked good.
"Yeah it kind of looks like he is was a ghost caught in the photo, but he looks almost in place in it as well weird." One said as I had to agree.
"Well photos are over now so-." Diana was cut off by someone.
"Oh no you don't you are forgetting something." One said as she seemed to think.
"What am I forgetting?" She asked.
"Licensing photo?" She said as Diana grew an annoyed face.
"Do I have to?" She complained like a child.
"Yes unless you want this slave to be taken away." She said as my ears perked up.
"What about taking me away?" I asked her.
"Oh you and Diana have to get a photo together to register you as a slave, so we have to get your photo together for the papers that she has to fill out." She said pointing at Diana as I just starred at her.
"Well okay I don't see why not." I said as I walked over to her to only get punched in the shoulder by her.
"Shut up." She said as I was curious as to why she was acting so weird.
"What's wrong?" I asked her rubbing my shoulder to only get punched again but harder this time.
"Oh you don't know do you, you see the photo has to be a certain position with the master and the slave. But you see that position is that she-." She was cut off by Diana.
"Just get ready to take it you know I don't like theses photos." She said to her as she nodded as I stood confused as to what was happening.
"What is-." I was stopped as Diana kicked my shin out from underneath me, in went down on one knee as she held onto one of my hands to keep me from falling over. A second later I suddenly had the back of my head slapped thrusting my head forward into another hand. But this hand was the one she was holding mine with, but her back palm was up so it made it look like I was kissing her palm with my hood in the way.
"*click* okay your done milady." I heard as I was kicked away onto the ground.
"What just happened?" I asked myself as I slowly sat up as Diana was walking away as the girl went over the photo.
"Oh you see that poses was for the registration from you have to kiss her hand and that is what it looks like to me." She said showing me as it did look like was kissing her hand, like a knight and a queen.
"Well at least you have it know." I said rubbing my head where Diana hit me.
"Yep I just need to take one more of you and you are done." She said as I stood up straight and faced her, with a click of the button she looked at the photo to only laugh.
"Looks like the curse is pretty strong I will say that." She said looking at the black deep hole my face was.
"Well whatever it is time to depart, we are heading to the ruins to try and stop this war." She said as she stopped me.
"32 people stopping a war of 100 billion people, sounds like a suicide mission." I said.
"Yeah but there is no law against gods fighting demigods and mortals, but for a god to fight a god a duel must be in order." She said as that surprised me.
"Interesting."
LINEBREAK:
ONE MONTH LATER:
I sat in a tree as I took a nap over the month we had been going straight towards the old capital, we just reached it yesterday and over the month we had been working on my "curses." So far we have a couple off by fulfilling conditions I set for them most were easy but the last three weren't to Diana's likening.
"Percy get down here." I heard someone yell as I opened my eyes and looked down it was Diana, you see my tree I was right by a lake that the hunt was currently using to swim in. But the branch I was on was so large it completely went across the lake into another tree holding it up. I was right in the middle using a branch that grew off of it as a back rest as I rested.
You all might be wondering why Diana called me by my name so I will tell you.
Flashback;
One day after we got everything and we departed I was ready for my cooking challenge.
"Okay boy what will we be having today." She said as I was in the brand new super advanced kitchen. The hunters seemed to find out about our bet and they all agreed to call me Percy as well if Diana admitted it was the best thing she had ever had.
"Oh you know just some fun stuff, first thing French garlic bread with assorted oils and spices for it, second is some jalapenos wrapped in bacon for the appetizers. For the soup it is French onion soup, for the salad it is shrimp and noodle salad with ginger dressing. The main dish I am serving up is Italian broccoli & salmon bake, after that is dessert which is salted caramel chocolate tart."
"After that is a glass of Domanine Romanee-Conti with some fine cheese, it will help settle your food. Finally you will have chocolate bees, they're not real bees covered in chocolate they are actual candies I had the girls buy." I finished as I heard multiple gulps as some of the girls were already drooling at my list for dinner.
"So I ask you get in your most formal dress we are having a fancy dinner tonight with manors and everything." I said as the hunters almost looked upset but excited at the same time.
"Wait we aren't eating at the normal dinning place?" One asked me.
"Oh we are but I found a place much more suitable for fine dining a little bit ago." I said as I remembered the spot. It was in the middle of a lake on a small island but it had the moon right over it lighting up the whole area. With the pale moon light it will light up the area with a beauty I never quiet see.
"You're going all out aren't you?" Diana said to me.
"I don't joke about cooking and fine dining it is something I have grow accustomed to, also is everyone over the age of 21 in the hunt?" I asked her.
"Yes why?" She asked me.
"Because I am serving you all the same wine as the stuff with the cheese." I said to her.
"Ha so how do you plan on moving this granite table over there?" She asked me.
"Oh I ordered a table before we left it is already ready for you all, all you guys have to do is get ready and I will serve you all." I said as she smiled at me.
"You don't leave one thing not done do you?" She said again.
"No now go to Elizabeth she has a dress that I had her get you." I said as she just snapped her head at me.
"How does a slave like you get so many things from these girls?" she asked me.
"Money but that is something small plus they kind of sounded like you needed a good dress." I said.
"Wow it sounds like you are equal to them." She said.
"Oh I am not I just am very convincing when the object in mind is something that is elegant and something you don't see very often." I said to her as I laughed.
"Well you better get working or-." She was cut off by someone pulling on her arm as she was dragged away.
"Makeup?" I asked them as Diana's face grew scarred.
"How did you know?" They asked me.
"I can smell the perfume on you guys, well have fun with her make her pretty I don't want my fine meal being spoiled by someone who doesn't put make up on." I said even though I thought she looked fine the way she was.
"Sometimes I think you aren't a slave." Elizabeth said to me as she walked up.
"Oh I am I just was able to get on your guys good side but I am still your slave so don't worry." I said to her.
"Why are you guys so nice to me anyways I thought you hated all men?" I asked her.
"Your are our slave of course we have to be semi nice to you so you won't slit your throat in your sleep. But we are all nice to you since your all remind of us Clark, hard working and tough. Even though he was a slave he was wise and we all like him. You seem to grow on us fast boy, sooner or later you will almost be one of the hunt." She said to me.
"Were am I right now then?" I asked her.
"Oh you're right at pranks and I mean harsh ones so watch your back after tonight is all I have to say." She said with a wink as I just sighed at her.
"Roger that now got get ready I don't like to be kept waiting for someone not on time." I said as she smacked my head.
"Fine but don't expect me to be so lenient on you next time." She threatened as I smiled under my hood.
"Got it." I said to her as she walked off as I started cooking finally.
LINEBREAK: STILL FLASHBACK
All of the girls stood at the edge of the lake but they all were mesmerized by the things I put in the calm water. With a little help from different hunters not knowing what the things I asked for I was able to make these things thanks to them now knowing I got them. I had made floating lily pads in the water with blue flame candles in each one as they all just moved in a giant circle around the small island in the middle of the lake.
They didn't move from their orbit as they circled the moonlit island with the table sitting on it. But then all the sudden thanks to me a railed bridge made of ice began to form from the island and the shore. It had intricate designs on the rails as the girls and Diana slowly crossed it as they watched the floating candles in the lily pad flowers.
Each hunter wore a white or silver dress; some had blue or red but mostly white and silver. Diana wore a silver one like the rest it was strapless, her hair was done up and I could even see a little makeup on her and eyeliner.
"Take the seat that has your name on the plate please." I said as they went around the redwood table, it was sanded down and polished to give it an exquisite look.
As everyone seated themselves they couldn't help but admire the jar of silver moonlace in the jar, but in the very middle it was a special flower I made myself. It was the same flower I had as my wish thing in my forest I made by old Olympus. It didn't stay one color as it seemed to change with the mood of the table.
"First is drinks and you will find them already full as I pass out the bread." I said as they all looked at their half full wine glasses, some took a sip to find an intoxicating flavor. I had a good guess this was going to be a good dinner for them.
After I finally served the chocolate bees they all looked amazed as they gently sipped on their wine, some already red in the face they have had so much. I walked over to Diana as she gently ate a cheese slice that was left over and washed it down with some wine.
"So how is it?" I asked her as I stood in my fancy jacket with a butler uniform over top of it but my hood still was on.
"…" She didn't respond as she took another sip, I noticed a drunken golden blush on her face from the wine.
"It was delicious." She said quietly as the others smiled at her.
"What I didn't hear you?" I teased her as the other smiled at her admitting defeat.
"It was by far the best meal I have ever had; I hope for the life of me Ambrosia tastes like this from now on." She said to me as she looked up at me with a smile on her face.
"Looks like I lost so I have to call you Percy now." She said as she suddenly fell to one side and I caught her as the others chuckled.
"What is so funny?" I asked as I helped the asleep Diana up in her chair slowly taking the almost spilled wine glass in her hands.
"That is her first glass Percy; she is such a light weight." Elizabeth said as the other snickered, and then I heard the click of a camera as one laughed at the picture of Diana asleep in her chair.
"Well I guess that is if for you guys." I said as I started grabbing wine glasses as they wined in protest (hahahahah jokes are funny).
"Your no fun." They said as they seemed to decrease with normalness every second.
"Wait a second did you guys get this wine from…" I looked to find a Bacchus approved label on it, shit this stuff was strong. In a matter of minutes they were all out like lights as I sighed.
'Balance get them home I will clean up here." I said as I heard a laugh from her, in second they all flashed out to I assume their rooms as I snapped my fingers and everything went back to what it was as I snapped them again and a portal consumed them leaving no trace of them what so ever.
'Thanks.' I said to her as she just laughed as went back to what she was doing leaving me to walk back to camp for a good night sleep.
End Flashback:
I turned to Diana as she floated in a inner tube someone bought as she floated in a white bikini that showed her supple proportions.
"Yes what is the problem?" I asked her as I sat in my giant branch.
"It time for a history lesson do you know what caused this hole?" She asked me as I looked around at the perfectly circler lake.
"I am going with a bomb." I said to her as she just laughed as she looked up at me.
"Your closed it was a M.M.P.B.C." She told me.
"What?" I asked her.
"It's a massive magical particle beam cannon, think of artillery cannons but that fire massive rounds that of pure destruction magic." She told me.
"Then why is it so small of a hole?" I asked her.
"My guess is it exploded prematurely in the air a real hole from one of these would be the size of five or six stadiums." She said as I whistled in amazement.
"Buy the way why do you look older?" She asked me.
"As you unlock the curses I grow into my real from, right now is my sixteen year old form. But once the last three curses are gone I will be able to take off the hood and hold a sword fearlessly." I said to her.
"What is your age when you get rid of all of the curses?" She asked me.
"About 18 to 19 years old." I told her as I rocked my feat back in forth as I looked at the hunters swimming in the lake. The water was as clear as the sky as I could see them diving deep down as they could with one breath of air.
"Your immortal right?" She asked me.
"Yes but it is like your hunters immortality I can live forever but not with a blade in my gut." I told her as she just nodded from her rubber float.
"Sounds like you h-." She was cut off by someone.
"Mistress something is wrong!" Elizabeth called as we all turned to her.
"Sophie went under but hasn't come up yet!" She said as I instantly used my powers to locate her, just as I found her she was at the bottom of the lake. Her foot was caught in something but she was right bellow me.
"I found her she I caught on something." I said as I instantly dove in the water passing a foot from Diana with a splash. As I dove I used my powers to propel me farther down. As I got low enough I saw her struggling against something in the water, in a instant I had her in my arms but then I noticed what was holding her.
It was a water nymph and she didn't look happy but as I helped Sophie out of her grip, she reared back but then caught a scent of me.
'Oh a child of the sea my apologies I didn't know this women was in your care.' She said through the water in a mocking tone.
'Whatever just don't do it again.' I said as I started for the surface with a passed out Sophie in my arms. As I broke the surface I went straight for shore with her in hands, being a "child of the sea" I swam pretty fast as I washed up on shore with her.
"Is she okay?" One asked as I pulled her up on the sandy shore and my ear went straight to her chest and hand to her radial pulse. After I heard her heart beat I found she wasn't breathing.
"Damnit stand back everyone she isn't breathing." I said as I instantly used my water powers on her. After a second a glob of water the size of a soft ball was pulled out her but she still wasn't breathing.
"Okay CPR it is." I said as I started giving breaths to her, everyone else just watched in panic not caring as a man kissed a hunter of Diana. After about twenty she started to cough as I turned her to her side as she coughed up what little water she could.
"Thank god." Elizabeth said as she kneeled down and hugged her as she sat up.
"What happened?" She asked me as I wiped my mouth and sat up looking at her slightly pale body.
"You got pulled under and Percy saved you twice he gave you CPR and pulled you from the bottom up." Elizabeth said in tears which were strange for me as I never really see Romans cry.
"Thank you Percy." She said in a week voice as I just nodded then I decided to pull a curse removal stunt.
Just then like always when I pretend a curse has been lifted my body glowed a bright green aura supplied by me, after a second it stopped as I let out along breath.
"Looks like I did something to remove a curse." I said as I stood up and moved a little as they looked at Diana for answers.
"Which curse was removed?" She asked me.
"I think it was the weapons curse, next is the memory of a kill, then the hood one." I said as the awed but Sophie then thought of a question I didn't have an answer for.
"Do you think it was because he kissed me?" She asked as everyone looked at me with a slight blush in her face.
"I don't have a clue I am not the one who put the doors on these curses, but I don't know Hecate did tell me the last one. She told me it was something only I could do but something no others could." I said as they all got a confused face.
"Something only you can do?" Diana said to herself as I stood watching the girls help Sophie up.
"My guess it has something to do with fate." I said to her as she grew a confused face as everyone else moved over to their original place some still played in the water as Diana and I just stayed put.
"Tell me the truth about what she told you boy." She demanded as I smiled at her.
"Nothing can be hidden from a goddess huh; yes she told me the doors to all of my curses. Yes kissing a hunter was one of the doors, but the last two are the most difficult." I said to her.
"What are they?" She asked me.
"The memory of a kill one is quite simple I just have to get someone to drink my blood." I said to her.
"Well that is easy come here." She said grabbing my hand and slicing my finger with a knife she pulled out of nowhere on her person. After the blood gathered she used her finger to swipe some up but not after I purified it to normal demigod blood not my platinum blood. As she did I did the aura thing as she smiled at me.
"What a little knife cut too much for a simple demigod." She teases as I blushed under the hood.
"One more door, tell me now." She said in a voice that reminded me of Artemis so much I blurted out something I shouldn't have.
"I have to kiss you." I stopped as soon as I said it as she just glared at me.
"Don't joke right now I am not in the mood Perseus, now tell me." She demanded in a cold tone as I repeated myself.
"I have to kiss you, that was Hecate's last door she said it was impossible to do so she put it at it." I said as she began pacing back and forth chewing on her fingernail as if actually considering it a possibility.
"Damn you other world Hecate." She cursed as she finally turned to me and picked me up by my collar to her eye level.
"Is there any other way?" She said asking looking into my eyes.
"I don't think so." I whispered as threw me down and continued pace when suddenly the ground shook all around us like a earthquake. But I knew it was different as I looked to the left as I watched a giant globe of destruction started to expand a few hundred miles away. It was amazing to look at as the color was blue but then the shock wave came through.
I thrown me across the lake and up against my tree as the hunters we able to dive in the water nad hid up against a cliff in the water as the air rushed over us. After I finally ended after a minute I slowly got up as Diana came over and helped me up as I watched the mushroom cloud form.
"What was that?" I asked slowly getting up as Diana helped me.
"M.M.P.B.C." Diana said as she just looked in the distance of the bomb as the hunter swam over to us with a scared look on her face.
"How long until they stop firing those?" I ask her as she looked at me.
"They only fire two but that one was too big to be one so they must have met and detonated each other." She said as we looked at the dust cloud rising from the area.
"So what happened to the land bellow it?" I asked her as she looked sad.
"It will turn into a wasteland for battle, the only reason this place is natural looking is because the blood from the battle fertilized the soil." She said as everyone started heading back to camp to pack up.
"How much longer do we have until the battle?" I asked her.
"A week for the ground to cool and then the battle will rage on, but I have a feeling this will be no normal battle this." Diana said as we began running back to camp to move.
"Do you still think we can stop it?" I asked her as her face grew worried.
"At this point I think we might not be able to." She said as we finally reached camp.
"Percy, come with me." She said as I followed her to her new tent, they were quiet fancy versions of the old ones. I followed her into hers to find it practically the same as Artemis's but it had much more Roman things in it.
"What is it?" I asked her as I sat down on a chair.
"Don't tell anyone but we need your full strength got it." She said as she came closer to me as I stiffened not moving. She gently leaned forward and kissed me on the lips, it was quick and gentle like her first kiss. I just stayed still unmoving as she pulled back as my aura kicked in on its own shinning as bright as possible.
"You tell anyone and I will skin you slave got it." She said as she gently pushed her hand to her lips as if remembering the taste. It was so her first kiss I just stole out of a false curse.
"Then let my true armor and form be known." I said as my jacket suddenly transformed with me into my armor form but it still hid my crystal. With its platinum trim and shiny black metal and futuristic helmet, my form also changed to my full grown 18 year old from in my swimmer like body.
"Wow." She said as I nodded.
"This was my form before I was curse by her, but I still have a lot of power to regain." I said as I decided to finally let her see my face.
"So I guess since you unlocked the last door I will show you my face first." I said as my helmet retraced showing my overly handsome face. I could see her blush as she saw my face, my universe eyes were even there with my white streak in my hair as well.
"I see why she put the curse on you, you are quiet handsome." She blurted out.
"Ha well I guess." I said as my armor changed to the jacket with without my gloves, so everything was back in place as the armor changed.
"What is the white streak from?" She asked me.
"Holding the sky in Atlas's place." I said to her as she just silently wowed.
"Diana I thank you for clearing these curses form me, I owe you my life so I give it to you." I said as knelt down and kissed her hand as she was stunned.
"Well stop kissing my hand and go tell the hunters we have a buys week ahead of us." She said slowly pulling her hand away and putting it to her chest as if to protect it.
"Yes ma'am." I said as I turned around in my jacket and blue jeans to go help the hunters in any way possible.
