AN – Review Answering
reaper07 - Sorry for the short chappy, this one is a bit longer. I tend to separate things and this ended being a little small. Yush! I love it that it got through that way! :) the awkwardness but at the same time ease. Means I am doing my job right! And it IS going to get interesting now. Just read and enjoyyy. *wicked smile for the win*
Bee - Glad I got you with me again. Lis doesn’t really have any aboriginal blood, but she has a story behind her liking native art so much. You’ll see later! As for Lis being Jacob’s imprint… well… can’t disclose very much now. I am wicked I know. :) Hope you like this chappy!
Ultra - Yeah short chapter was short. This one is a little bigger. And next chappy will be too. *cackles like a maniac*
Thanks so much for the compliment, it means a lot to me. *bows*
Gaps of Misery There is no such thing as a long review, what are you talking about! LOL!
I loved it. You don’t know how glad I am that people understand the undertones of my writing like that. (yeah Jason White is so totally white lawyer! LOL)
As for the characters, well, I am a development freak. When I write in a POV, I AM the character. I think like them, and create a background emotional history, so that their reactions are based in them. It makes the writing so much easier. Example: Jane was dumped by her high-school sweetheart, who was, in generic terms a bad boy. Hence she disliking Jacob.
I really hope you stay with me and keep handing me these delicious cookies that are your reviews.
As for the fact that I am not a native speaker, hey, even I can’t explain. I have always loved English, and that love has led me to a respect for the language that keeps me striving more and more for perfection. It means a lot to me for a native to say that about my writing. I have been dancing on clouds because of it! :)
And link me to your story woman, I want to take a little of the short internet time I have in my hands to read your story! Fellow lip bitters unite!
Hope you enjoy this chapter!
FYI, there is no thing like a long review answer either. Those are just urban miths. *nods wisely*
And now:
On with the fic!
-**Private Places**- /Lis’ POV
I breathed in deeply before I entered the shop. I knew she was there, waiting for me. I had checked myself in every reflective surface on the way here, trying to make myself look decent. Not that I did anything indecent… yet. Oh God why am I being such a gutter mind now of all times?
I entered and caught her with her back to me, putting some books on one of the bookcases.
Sigh.
Here we go.
“Hi Norma.”
She spun around quickly, rotating over her right heel. And she was sporting the most incredulous wicked smile I had ever seen in my life. That was saying something.
“Hi ~!” She chimed her response in an almost childish voice. It reminded me of a strange terror B movie killer.
Suddenly I wished Jacob was here with me. I scoffed internally. Stupid thought is stupid.
I walked to her.
“I’m going to put my bag in the back room.” I think I stuttered in the middle of it. She just smiled wider and I wondered if she was human for half a second. Lips couldn’t stretch that far.
“Ok ~!” Again that singsong tone made me shiver. Oh man, I feel ambushed.
I walked slowly to the backroom, putting my bag close to my coat, that I had brought this morning and started to think about what the hell I was going to say to her. Not the truth, definitely. I mean, the met him yesterday, we did the nasty in the bathroom because he liked my smell explanation seemed too weird.
It was weird.
I stopped on my tracks and thought about it.
The sane conclusion I had arrived yesterday when I was trying to sleep was that I had imagined it.
Quite vividly, but I was blessed with a good enough imaginative streak in my character, so it wasn’t that strange. And adding the fact that I hadn’t had any kind of sexual intercourse in a while helped my over-imaginative mind to conjure up a sexy slash scary kind of scenario like that one.
But…
Now I knew it did happen. And I couldn’t find a proper explanation for it.
For the… empathy between us. I mean, I made Jay court me quite insistently before I granted us a formal date. Three dates before anything serious happened.
And then, this man comes and I just… I feel my teeth cringe just with the memories of it.
It was insane.
I’m not like this.
Maybe this is a big mistake.
My lower lip was caught by my teeth as I looked at the little window of the room.
But I don’t want him to be. I don’t want it to be. The idea of him leaving frightens me. And the realization that it does, scares the living daylights out of me.
“We choose our path: we choose how we see, live and roam on that path. Sometimes logic gets in the way of living life. The sun is up in the sky for you Elisa.”
I allowed myself to smile as I listened to his words almost as he was standing next to me, in his deep rich voice. He was right. I am so busy sometimes, wondering where every turn in my path will lead me, that I forget to sight-see.
So I allowed myself to, at least this time, go with the flow.
I have a seriously hot copper skinned male in my studio that makes me feel every nerve ending of my body.
What now?
Go with it.
Think about it later.
“Thanks Grandfather…”
“So~~?”
I nearly jumped in place as I listened to Norma’s voice behind me.
“Jesus woman, you almost gave me a heart attack!” I scolded her, my hand over my chest as I tried to calm my erratic heartbeats.
She just smiled at me and jumped gracefully over a small table, her long legs dangling from the edge, and again that mischievous grin in place.
“Drama queen.” She rebuffed, with a smile and a wink. “Now, let’s get to the point.” She beckoned me closer with her index finger. “Tell.me.everything.”
Oh man. Here it comes. I sigh, almost theatrically.
“What about the costumers?”
“I turned the chime on.” She smiled. I was about to scold her with the but-people-can-come-in-at-any-given-time speech when she crowned the statement with another. “And also put the Be Right Back Sign!” She smiled like the devil. “No interruptions.”
I need to improvise. Ok Elisa, you are good at this.
“Ok then.” I covered the small distance between us and sat beside her. “What do you want to know?”
She giggled.
“You were blushing. I have never seen you blush Lis, and I’ve known you for what? Eight years now?”
I frowned. I knew this would be a topic.
“That wasn’t a question.” Stalling shamelessly.
“Where did you guys meet?”
“Over the weekend at the beach. He was staying in a house close to my parents’ house.”
“Thought you didn’t go out during the weekend.”
“I didn’t, he came to my porch to ask me for some sugar.”
She chuckled. “Oh yeah, I bet he did. Grawr.” I slapped her arm.
“Hey! It wasn’t like that.”
“Of course not.” She scoffed. “So, how did you guys ended up in the sack together?”
I gasped, mortified. Well, not really, but I had to play my part. Technically we didn’t hit the sack. Just walls.
“Who said we did?”
“Yeah, he would come to visit you not even a day after you come back because he needs more sugar. No pun intended by the way.” She said with a roll of eyes.
“I told him he could come see me… And he came.” It wasn’t that much of a lie was it? I had ask him to follow me right after we… oh mental images, be banned from my head. I need to think!
“AH!” She pointed her index at me. “You are blushing again! Spill woman, or will I have to beat the information out of you?”
I laughed a bit. This is why I adore her.
“Ok!” I sighed. I don’t like to lie to her so, here it goes. Edited version. She won’t take the crap I am trying to feed her. Even I can’t believe myself, and besides, my damn body is betraying me. “We meet as I said. He came in and we ended up having some tea on the porch. He was there alone and he didn’t know anyone so we kept each other company.”
“And then you jumped on him and…” I glared at her. She raised her hands, chuckling. “Sorry, sorry.”
“As I was saying, we ended up talking sitting on my porch. It got late, and it was freezing outside. And he is kind of warm so I scooted closer.”
I could see her drinking up my words, her eyes attentive.
“And he scooted closer too.” I stopped. I wasn’t lying. It did happen.
“And?”
“I just lost myself. There, I said it. I just couldn’t keep my hands to myself, and neither did he and we ended up… I mean, it’s crazy Norma. He makes me feel… animalistic. It’s as my mind disconnects from my body and I want to dive in him.” I gestured wildly. “Like the warmth just takes over me and I get extremely greedy and try to harvest it all in me.” The looks, the grunts… “It’s just intoxicating. And the muscles. Dude, you would not believe those muscles. It’s like warm marbol to the touch. And he is there with me. It’s not like Jay.” I creased my brow. “Sometimes, towards the end… it was kind of distant. But Jake… is all over the place. I can’t quite explain it, it’s just… like he is there. On my lips, on my skin… ARG!” My hand slides over my hair. “Crazy crazy crazy, and it’s scary, but GOD it’s so… damned…” I cringed my teeth again.
She kept silent, so I look at her. She stares back.
“What?”
“This shit is making me horny damn it.”
I blink twice and she explodes in laughter, her hands coming behind her to support her torso over the table.
“Priceless! AHAHAHAH! The look on your face!”
“Ah ah funny funny.” I was smiling though. I felt lighter now. Being able to share this with her, even to a small extent, was liberating. “Don’t you think it’s weird?”
“Girl, I have seen Jake. I even tried to pick him up, but he was all goggle-eyed staring at you when I approached him.”
“Really?” I feel like I have a little dog chasing its tail inside my stomach.
“Oh yeah. That’s how I knew you guys had done the nasty. Or at least at that time, that he wanted to.” She nodded wisely. “So I was kind of surprised when I saw you two together with Jay there, but, girl, the look on Jay’s face was too damned good for me not to stick the knife a little bit further.” She even did the gesture, with a wicked little smile. “That arrogant little lawyer bastard.” She stopped a bit and looked at me with a little widening of eyes. “What did he want anyway?”
I sighed, my arms also coming back to the table, head down, kicking my legs a bit.
“He said he missed me.”
Her eyebrows sky rocketed almost beyond the borders of her forehead.
“What?” She frowned. “The fucking nerve of that asshole!”
“He seemed serious Norma.” I looked at her from the corner of my eye.
She scoffed.
“He is a lawyer. Hence proficient liar. ‘Nough said.”
“Jane told me he looked lost, and she normally doesn’t take bullshit from no one.”
I hadn’t had the time to think about this. I felt a little guilty for doing what I did. I mean, yeah, he dumped me, but…
“Elisa Alexandra Wolfe, you are NOT seriously considering giving him a chance are you?” She said it almost as if I just told her I killed someone.
I thought about it for a while. Three years. A marriage. A stable household. It was all I wanted, with Jay. Less then twenty four hours ago.
“I am going to spank you so thoroughly if you say yes, you won’t be able to sit properly for two months. And I am not meaning spank in the good way!” She almost growled.
I looked at her and gave her the most truthful answer that was available.
“I don’t know.”
She threw her hands in the air. “I can’t believe this shit!” She grabbed my hands. “He was sucking the life out of you. It’s no secret I never really liked him, that hair of his gets on my nerves. But… Call me crazy, but Jake seems good for you! I mean, you should see yourself when you were with him! Your eyes light up.” She tilted her head. “It’s like I have my girlfriend back. After all that Jay did to you… I am so happy to see that light. And seriously, I like Jake just because I know he put it there. I care for you.”
I looked at her, at this silent friend of mine that stroke my hair so many times as my body was racked by sobs, simply telling me it would all be alright, that made snide slash humorous comments about Jay’s hair and overall stuck up attitude and dumbness for leaving me making me laugh in the midst of tears… She was rarely serious, and seeing her like this made another fear that rose with Jane’s words subside a little.
So I just hugged her. Her arms hesitated but she hugged me back, keeping me there.
“Thanks.” I said, kind of muffled.
“Anytime.”
“Jane doesn’t like Jacob.”
“Jane is an aunt. She needs to get laid.”
I chuckled despite myself. “You know I don’t like it when you say that.”
“Thou who speak the truth are exonerated from divine punishment.”
I laughed again. Shakespeare is rolling in his grave right now.
“So, where is he?” She asked.
I loosened the hug.
“Jay?”
“No, ew.” She made a face, and then smiled. “Jake!”
My blood vessels are perfidious traitors.
“Oh ohohohohoh!”
“My house…” I whispered.
“I KNEW IT! WHOOHOO!!”
“Shush woman!” I scolded her.
“Someone is getting action tonight~~!” She singsonged, getting off the table.
“You are such a gutter mind!” I huffed. She just smiled.
“Like you aren’t thinking about the same thing.”
She was right. Damn it.
**************************************************************************
“Skin. It’s so soft. There, here…”
Hand that slides over a breast, charging need of more, the more touch is given.
“Help me forget.”
Same hand that encloses the flesh, feeling the shift in texture as a darker part of it, the peak of the small mount, roughens with the caress, almost as if extending to feel more.
Every single motion of this body calls for him. Breaths and sounds.
“Moan for me.”
And she complies, as a shift to cup the side of the marvellous flesh that has him enraptured, brings his thumb and index to the rough pebble, rolling it leisurely.
Eliciting a vocalization from her full lips.
It is a mewl. Long and thick with sweetness and lust.
It’s a multitude of little shocks that swarm in a tide towards his member. Awakening him.
He can barely take it, and still he yearns, wishes, starves for more.
The gemstones framed by long lashes flutter and close.
His finger had tightened the hold on the pebble, increasingly and the body beneath him undulates, pressing against him, and the feeling is overwhelming.
Time is his. He can bend it at his wish. The world does not exist beyond the eyes that again open and stare at him.
The feeling of a soft hand over his chest almost makes him jump.
“Can I kiss you?”
The hand stops over his heart. Emeralds roam over his eyes and the requests, the longing the words that don’t exist in any lexicon in this universe scream at him from the green depths, is too much to handle.
“Have me.”
There is nothing to forget. There is no she or he. It’s them and the world is only that.
Her lips glisten with moisture her tongue has brought to them.
Her lips mouth the words, silent but loud in his mind.
“Take me.”
Again the furious swarm glides through his body, and the need to be with her, next to her, emerged in her is reaching maddening points. Her legs part wider, as her hips come up in an offering, a demand, a plead.
His hips move even if he didn’t command it. He shivers violently at the feeling as the rosy head of his manhood is chastely kissed by moist swollen lips. Embraced by silky petals of a blood rose.
Her other hand comes to his chest, upwards, to his neck. The feel of digits moving over his skin makes muscles contract involuntarily, like her fingers are talking to them and they stand up to them as a gentleman would rise when a lady enters a room.
It is sweetness personified in her gestures.
And the beast within, normally writhing in growls and snaps of teeth subsides like a puppy.
A balm that qualms him.
Pain killer.
And suddenly emeralds light up as hands slide to his hair, making a trail of goose bumps to tug at the skin of his back.
And a growl is ripped from his mouth, echoing in his mind, as her hands turn to fists, pulling the impossibly dark raven strands in a pleasurably painful tug, that makes him spring his flesh against her, creating a moist sound almost as loud as a yell to his ears.
Sinful.
Arousing.
Tempting.
Madenning.
He wants to. And he does. His hips clash fiercely down on hers, the hard swollen with blood member dives within the warm sea that is her. Her walls spasm around him like waves crashing furiously against his flesh, embracing him with the force of longing.
Jacob…
Her neck arches as her head is pushed back by the sheer force of the feelings. Her lips are parted and move as pants pass roughly from them, although he can barely see it. His eyes are almost closed, and finally do when, even before he retreats, she grinds upwards against him.
His hand snaps to her neck, and closes in on the soft skin, making her eyes open. But instead of scared, she asks for it without words. And one of her hands snaps to his on her neck, in a mock scratch and he again moves out of her.
She smiles a wicked smile.
He growls.
She growls back and it is cut by another thrust that leads him half way inside her.
Her hips rise but his hand tightens and she stills in a furious obedience; he can see it in her eyes. Her breaths are scarce because he does not let them pass.
And he pushes again inside her, with more force then necessary, and his mouth goes down on hers, ravenous in a plunder of her taste, taking her hoarse scream in his mouth.
Thrust.
Jacob.
Her other hand claws at his back.
The feeling of the walls he is deep within is tortuous. More.
Thrust.
She kisses back as furiously, fiercely. Animalistic.
Thrust, grind, thrust.
“Ghn.. ahh…”
Hiss.
“Ghnn.. ghnn.”
Creases of eyebrows.
“Ah… ah…”
The sounds, my lord the sounds. All of them, the vocalizations, the moist perverse sound of their joining. Rapid, frantic. The breaths that are moans and growls and whines.
“Jake?!”
And his eyes open, his breathing laboured, his body covered in a thin film of sweat.
His sight is blurry.
There is a cool hand over his forehead.
The scent that involves him messes with his mind and conscious awareness.
It was a dream, but he does not realise he as awakened.
His black eyes move to find green ones, over them a concerned furrow of eyebrows.
That scent, that scent. Her. Them. Now.
His mind knows nothing more.
These eyes are the ones that speak to him.
The body that exudes the scent that is poking at his libido is his.
It’s her.
“Mine.”
And faster then she can perceive, the cooper skinned body is over hers, pressing his erection between her legs.

AN – God.Damn.
I am… oh man, I am proud of this. Seriously.
Ok, to make this clear if it isn’t: *line means Narrator POV - Jacob is dreaming. Lis comes home. Sees him in bed, like he is in pain (lol!) and tries to wake him up. He wakes up and we will have serious smut in the next chapter. And I mean serious smut. *takes a peak at what I’ve written so far* Yeah. Seeeeerious smut.
You know the drill.
Reviews make me happy.
*points up* That kind of happy.
