“You animal.” One said as she ran over to Thalia as three of them carried her away.
“What was that for?” I asked.
“Well you see Diana gave away what it feels like to have a massage by you, and after learning that is feels really good at the end *cough* we all want a massage *cough*.” Elizabeth finished as they all nodded.
“Okay I don’t see why not, but after I talk to Diana about something then the massages will all happen tomorrow.” I said as they all nodded and ran off to bed as Diana was left super flushed and head hung low.
“What did you tell them about it?” I asked her.
“Just that if feels like your body melts in all the right places.” She said which I knew she was lying.
“Well I don’t see any harm coming from this but I need to talk to you about something.” I said as I sat down beside her.
“What would that be?” She asked me.
“The truth.”
NOW:
PERCY POV:
She sat still as my story finished with me falling from the sky, she just looked at me with disbelief in her eyes.
“You can’t be.” She said as I nodded and showed her am real crystal she just starred at it scarred as I sat a few feet away from her.
“My lor-.” She tired but I held up my finger.
“Please Percy is fine I may be powerful but I do not like to stand above others, well other than my enemies. That is why I chose to become your slave you are latterly Artemis’s other half and that is why I chose to be with you.” I said as she still looked stunned.
“Diana I would like you to keep this a secret between us if that is alight but I would need you to swear on my name not to reveal my secret.” I said to her.
“I will I am tired of fighting all the time and having someone stand above me especially a male.” She said.
“I feel the same way but Abyss killed many people and I have to stop his reign of terror everywhere. So I will need your help and your allies to capture all of the continents and meet Abyss then I will kill him.” I said thinking of all the pain he has caused.
“Then the world will be at peace.” She said as I nodded.
“He is the main reason there is war and that is to receive the power he gives you if you control all of the continents.” I said as she nodded.
“I agree with you Percy but it will take time.” She said.
“I know I have 500 years until the seven break from their stage of sleep, if possible I want to kill him before then but I know it will take longer than that.” I said as she looked curiously.
“You said you wives are in a state of sleep then what is your relief?” She asked.
“Wow just like Artemis, umm I can’t tell you that yet but I will soon.” I said as she nodded not noticing it was her.
“I have a question for you actually, what is this Land Ruler you talk about?” I ask her.
“It was Chaos’s first creation there were three types of Land Rulers, the normal one of the Land Ruler had one pair of wings and no horns. It was also the size of what you are now maybe a little bit taller. It had white skin or scales and was about the same power as a god or maybe even a major god but not an Olympian.” She said.
“An Elder Land Ruler is a Land Ruler that has live for 500,000 years, it had five sets of wings and black skin and one pair of horns. It can easily kill an Olympian god if it surprises them but if it fights head on it is a tough battle for the Olympian. But if a pack of them were to come they could kill a Primordial. But just like how you looked it that the weird symbol on their chests.”
“It even had the tail that looked like a blade and razor sharp hands that can cut through even curses. I hold outstanding power over everything, I breath fire of the pit and its skin is tougher than that of the lion you killed. It is something I have only killed once but it was injured as I killed it, not a fair fight.” She said which got me worried about the King Land Ruler.
“What about the King one?” I asked her.
“A King land Ruler is one that has live for 1 billion years, but it has to sleep in blood every night and it has to be a mixed blood bath. I has several horns one more for each 500 million years it has lived after it became a King Land Ruler. The mark on its chest changes from the ¥ to a straight up and down line but it is kind of like a really thin oval.”
“It is about 10 feet tall and has five sets of wings made of fire of the pit, it skin is black and metal like but has a texture of charcoal. Its head is the same like the rest a featureless skull, but it claws are so sharp and it moves so fast. It could kill you before you even realized it had stricken at you. Even though its wings are made of fire all the area around it grow cold as zero degrees Celsius.”
“It is average build or its size but don’t let it fool you it has the power of three or four primordials. But you won’t sense if one is near you it can hide its power to that of nothing and then appear out of nowhere. But I won’t kill female humans that it won’t attack it, I holds them in its cave or living space as slaves and makes them birth its children.”
“Unlike the other Land Rulers were they mate with each other, but no the King can mate with any female animal or human and get out a Land Ruler no matter the animal. It is a beast that is a true demon, but the thing is only one King Ruler has ever been seen and fought. But it got away with ease, for it teleported away yes they can teleport through the darkness kind of like shadow travel but longer distances.” She said as I held in my breath.
“My god.” I said.
“That isn’t it they have a compartment in their tail to hide the blade on your tail, and it has three blades that can be extended between the knuckles like that x-men movie.” She said as I gulped, Alpha was dam near as close as possible to it but I guess in my dimension they were killed before they could breed.
“What about if a female become a Kind Land Ruler?” I asked her.
“We won’t ever find out because they were hunted and killed to extinction by Chaos herself.” She said.
“Wait I mean your mother.” She corrected herself.
“I don’t mind if you call her Chaos, but I need you to make that promise okay.” I said as she nodded and silently made the promise as I felt it being made.
“Good but please act normal around me if you can, also I need to leave in a few days.” I said to her.
“Were to?” she asked me.
“That is a secret but it will help us in the long run of things.” I said.
“Okay so I act normal around you…how did I act around you?” She asked as I laughed.
“Like we are friends don’t think of my status as a creator but as a friend.” I said as she nodded.
“Got it like a friend.” She said as she walked off and I laughed, jus then she spun around and looked at me funny.
“Wait if you didn’t have those curses then that means…” She started.
“Yeah you didn’t need to kiss me.” I said as she blushed hard and ran off to her tent as I laughed.
“Tell the hunters I will give you massages tomorrow okay!” I yelled at her.
“Got it!” She yelled back, just as she was out of hearing range I started to speak with Balance.
“Hey do you think this was a right choice?” I asked her.
“Yes it was every ally god you make I will tell your story and make them swear on your name, I have already told Hades, Pluto, and Diana.” She said.
“You talked to Diana?” I asked her.
“Actually I am right now about different things and how you act, but mostly about how to take it all in. She is very smart but it will take time for it all to sink in even for her.” She said as I nodded.
“Well off to bed I have a long day of massages tomorrow.” I said as Balance faded off into the distance. I just stood alone by the fire as it crackled in the night, shadows dancing all around my body like waves of light. I just sat down and starred at the fire thinking of what I am going to do now since I told Diana.
Then my thoughts drifted to my animal form, I can remember the power of the beast. It was truly a beast made solely for the purpose of destruction, but at the same time I felt a light heart towards something but I couldn’t put my finger on it. To think that all of the Land Rulers are dead made me sad, but apparently they had the same intelligence of us humans they most likely even had their own towns and things.
As my thoughts ran on I decided to practice a little, so I tapped my crystal once with the power of three allowing my senses to become that of Elder Land Ruler. Instantly my vision was beyond an eagles as I watched water drip from a leaf two miles away. Everything seemed to slow down as well as the fire’s shadows moved in slow motion.
But my mind processed it all so fast it felt normal, like it was a normal day. I suddenly could hear the sleeping hunters in their tents, I could even hear a mouse drinking some water in a late three miles away. My sense of water even increased as a perfect 3D map of four miles of the surrounding forest was set in my mind.
All of this was normal as well for I could feel if I put more focus into them I could sense even more. I just smiled as I walked to my room with my animal senses still on, as I laid down I just closed my eyes and let my senses expand even more. To the point I had a 15 mile 3D map of the area that was also one mile in the ground as I found some caves.
Also three miles in the air as I senses some bats a few miles away, it was truly beautiful as if I was floating above all of it just watching. I felt my body was resting as my brain stayed awake, well more of my dream state but I could feel my body was reenergizing. I could get used to this instead of the complete black ness.
LINEBREAK:
I woke up the next day feeling better than ever but I noticed my vision and stuff was all normal again but it was all better at the same time. My senses seemed to be sharpened by senses of the Elder Land Ruler, I guess keeping in on for a while trains my own senses.
“Well time to hand out massages.” I said as I stretched in bed to find an unsuspecting animal. It was a calico cat, a full grown one but I was purring loudly in my chest as it swished its tail back and forth. It seemed to still be asleep so I decided to give it a nice rub behind the ears, it instantly leaned into it as I lay on my chest.
“Wonder how you got in here?” I asked myself as I stroked its back and starched the point right above its tail. It earned me a meow and it stretching and clawing my chest gently as it retracted and put out its claws again and again.
“Well I have to get up so come on.” I said grabbing the cat and situating it in my arm, it didn’t move all it did was purr and keep rubbing up against me as if I was catnip.
As I walked out of the tent some of the hunters were awake and roaming around in plain clothes, I just situated the cat on my shoulder like a parrot where it continued to purr and stay put.
“Hey Elizabeth have you seen Diana?” I asked her.
“Yeah she is getting her morning bath and what’s with the ca-.” She stopped suddenly.
“What’s wrong?” I asked her.
“Can I see that cat for a minute?” She asked me I couldn’t even answer as she snatched the cat off my shoulder as I began meowing and clawing at Elizabeth.
“Oh no you don’t!” She said as she grabbed it by the back of its neck and carried her to her ten leaving me in confusion.
“What was that about?” I asked Sophie as she walked up beside me, as we watched Elizabeth take the hissing cat inside her tent.
“Oh don’t worry about it so when are the massages being give out?” She asked flustered a little.
“Oh right now if you want I just need a massage table and I am good.” As she nodded and then ran off.
After about an hour I was done with breakfast and everybody had eaten the only thing left to do was give out the massages. I had set up shop in the guest tent and with some help of some of the girl had gotten some scented candles in the room. Just as put on my skin tight white shirt to begin I noticed Thalia with Elizabeth, Thalia looked pissed as Elizabeth glared at her.
“What is wrong with Thalia?” I asked the first hunter up as she got on the table in nothing but a towel of what I requested of them.
“Oh she got in trouble for sleeping on your -.” She stopped herself as I raised an eyebrow but it didn’t involve me so I didn’t mind.
“Well this is going to be fun isn’t it?” I said as I dove into my first victim.
LINEBREAK:
Thirty hunters later and the setting sun I was done with my last victim as I picked up the shivering mess of a hunter as I took her outside and gave her to Diana to take to her tent.
“God each hunter ends up like this don’t they.” She said taking the girl to her tent a little ways away.
“I can’t help it my hands are just magic.” I said waving my hands around to find one a little wet from one of the girls that gushed everywhere.
“Hey Diana.” I called as she came out of the hunters tent stretching.
“What?” She asked coming closer, as she got close enough I suddenly raised my finger and put it in her mouth. She was so stunned I managed to get her to lick it as she pulled back then slap me.
“What was that for?!” She yelled at me.
“Just wondering how much you liked the hunters mixed taste is all.” I said as she tried to figure out what I said, then realization hit her and she blushed hard.
“So how was it?” I asked as she just punched me in the chest as I laughed and took a step back.
“…” She didn’t respond.
“So that takes care of that.” I said stretching and thinking of the time, it was 12 p.m. and I was tired of making the hunters fall apart at my fingers and having them cum all over the room. Though some of the hunters like Thalia came apart and actually fell unconscious as I pressed their sweet spot.
“So does that mean you’re going to bed, because I have to talk to you.” Diana said unflushed and actually serious.
“About what?” I asked her.
“About a mission I am giving you.” She said as it interested me.
“Like what?” I asked getting closer to her, I decided to tease her a little so leaded in close so we looked in each other’s eyes.
“L-like…” She stopped as I was slowly getting closer as I felt her heart rate rise, but just as I was about to kiss her she put up her hand and pushed me back to standing up.
“Your mission is to go Allie hunting this means you alone will go to different continents and find allies to help in this war we are in.” She said looking down as I sighed at my defeat.
“Okay I will leave in a few hours then.” I said walking away leaving a panicking Diana.
“Wait I meant like-.” I cut her off.
“If the mission is to go get allies I will go immediately.” I said as I walked in my tent and began gathering what little things I had put down. Diana followed me as I summoned my lucky backpack and stuffed things in it. Mostly just things the hunters gave me or mementos.
“Percy wait-.” She tried as I finished packing and stood up with my jacket on my backpack on and Soul Reaper on my back ready to fight. Soul Reaper had seemed to change almost it got thicker and longer, but it kind of looked like the sword of Gutts the manga I used to read back home called Berserk.
“Wait for what?” I asked her as I pretended to me mad.
“I-I don’t know.” She said quietly, as I gave in and did something drastic.
“I will see you when I can it may take years but I will see you again.” I said leaning down and kissing her on the lips, she suddenly started to kiss me back. But it didn’t go past lips as it was rough but gentle at the same time.
“I-I lo-lo...” The last part was to quiet for me to hear as I stood up as she just looked down playing with her hands.
“I will listen to what you have to say when I get back, I know your thoughts are jumbled up because of our talk yesterday. I will give you time to think it through, in the mean time I will travel around this world looking for help. I love you Diana.” I said giving her a kiss on the forehead.
But my thoughts raced around the word of love, was it as a person, a lover, or just because she was so close to Diana? Why did I just say that? I guess I have something to think about while I travel as well.
I just gave her one last smiled as I walked out the door leaving the goddess of the hunt to her own thoughts about what I said. I just began to run as fast as I could not wanting my thoughts to catch up to me. I needed time to think and this mission was the best thing for that, even if Artemis said it was okay didn’t quiet mean I was.
LINEBREAK:
10 YEARS LATER:
Walking across this land had been an eye opener for me, monsters that made my worlds look like kittens. But I walked everyday looking at everything I could from trees to animals, but every day I was walking for the first continent I was going to and that was Vesta homeland. But I had just reached the main trade island thing.
Think of a mega highway but with hundreds of different shipping things, from wooden horse carts to full on diesel trucks. But I noticed they latterly changed form as they entered Diana’s country, my guess it was they were all the same travel vehicle but they all had different shells to appeal to each country or continent.
But as I walked with my backpack, Soul Reaper always out and on my back, and finally my trusty jacket that hugged me tightly but not too tight. I always had my hood up, which got me a lot of questions from guards. But apparently it was Soul Reaper that got me the most attention for who carries around a 6’ 6” sword that is about a foot and a half wide and inch and a half thick.
But I was also supposed to carry around a sword at all times in a war time as was now, it was a rule the whole world had to fallow. But I just kept walking past the blustering city that was the trading continent I called it. I was a shadow no one remembering me for more than a day, it got lonely over the years of my travel sometimes thinking of the hunt.
But then my mind would get confused at the thought of my love with Diana, so I tried to not think about it. But before I knew it I was in Vesta’s country, I was taken back at it look. I was expecting something hot a dry like a desert but instead it was plains wheat and other crops. It had an old medieval look to it as well kind of like the amish but no black clothes.
They had giant floating plows that did fields in minutes as well as giant dairies and other food making things. I just loved this place already it was quiet and calm a perfect place to think for another ten years. There was dirt roads everywhere that felt different under my forest hardened feet.
There were apple orchards as far as the eye could see in some places as I walked today, I forgot to tell you because of my stride I can cover a good 20 miles when walking in a day. But I walked all night and day sometimes for months, for I didn’t need sleep that often maybe an hour every few months to keep me average.
That time was now as I walked to an inn I spotted in my first day of being in this land, it looked to be old and rundown. But the light inside told me it was open for business, I opened the door as I ducked a little to avoid hitting my head against the top. It had wooden round tables and wooden chairs, with electric candle flames.
At the bar table was a women that was asleep but held her head up with her hand as she snored lightly. I looked around to find some men drinking some beer. They all had old fashion clothes on just like medieval times. I just walked in and sat at the bar as the men at the one table turned to see me, a giant with a sword to match.
“Hey.” I shook the woman awake as she mumbled something then woke up with a yawn.
“Yes?” she asked blinking a little then looking at me as I played with a stray peanut shell.
“I would like to rent a room for a night.” I said.
“Of course though it is my police to see who I am dealing with I don’t want some bandit or wanted person in my inn.” She said as I nodded, I was amazed at first she seemed to not be over 18 and quite a looker if I have to say so myself with brown hair and brown eyes.
I took off my hood revealing my perfectly sculpted face, my galaxy eyes, and my black hair with its one patch of white that remained in my hair.
“Ah not bad looking if I have to say so.” She said with a smile.
“How old are you?” She asked me, I had to think about that one.
“I am 39 years old.” I said to her as she laughed.
“Yeah right you are not a day over 21.” She said wiping a tear from her eye.
“I am immortal.” I said as she stopped laughing and looked funny at me.
“For one so young to receive immortality, impressive.” She said looking at me.
“If that sword were any bigger you would have to rent a room for it also.” She kidded as I laughed, a second later the men from the table began to sit by me with smiles on their faces.
“Hey Jessica your checking out this man aren’t ya?” One asked as she blushed a little as she began cleaning dishes randomly.
“No…” She said as the men laughed and patted my back a little.
“Don’t get many travelers in these parts what brings you here young one?” One asked me.
“I am on my way to a meeting in the capital, I have important business with Vesta.” I said as they all grew wide eyed.
“An ambassador at your age?” One asked me.
“I guess you could say that, I am one of Diana’s slaves. You might know me by the nickname of the dimension leaper.” I said as they were all taken back.
“So you are the one that interrupted Jupiter and Venus’s war meeting.” Jessica said as I nodded.
“Is that the sword that you used in that battle?” The old man on the right asked me.
“Yes it is I call it Soul Reaper, it itself can hold the souls of the creatures I have slain but only a set amount.” I said.
“Amazing.” Jessica said.
“So enough about me who are these kind men?” I asked them.
“We are Jessica’s older brothers, our mother died last winter and we and her run the inn. Father works in the fields with us all day long, hard work but we love it.” One said as I nodded.
“Must have been a harsh winter.” I said standing up and drawing my blade and turning to the door.
“What are you doing?” Jessica and the men asked.
“Killing the men of Jupiter that were assigned to follow me.” I said as I readied myself and I picked up the blade and held it vertical and straight in the air. The instant the door opened I pushed off the ground as I shot through the air running my blade through the sons of Jupiter. But to the others it was less than an instant as I disappeared.
Three sons of Jupiter were impaled on my blade as I was outside now and blood ran down their legs as they gasped for air as blood filled their throats. After an instant they all lay limp on my blade as I kicked them off the blade onto the ground in a heap of dead flesh. I just nodded as blood began to being sucked up by my jacket leaving a pile of dry husks of men behind.
“Are you okay dude?” I heard as I turned to see the sister and the three brothers armed with swords looking around in the dimming light.
“Yes I am fine.” I said as I put the sword back leaving the dry husks alone to blow away in the wind like dust they were so drained of liquid.
“Who were those me?” Jessica asked as I passed inside the inn to take my seat.
“They were meant sent after me by the kind for the gods.” I said remembered the even that got me on his radar again. My slave had been caught giving information to me and was killed by hanging along with her family. I went in a rage that led me to destroy a good portion of land by the battle of Venus and Jupiter.
“Don’t worry they were the last of them, the rest are dead these three were the last.” I said as I sat down and brushed my sleeves off.
“This is why you are a lone ambassador you are as strong as any one man, I ask you my friend why are you going to visit Lady Vesta?” One brothers asked.
“I am here to ask her to stop sending food to Jupiter’s forces and ally herself with Diana, we already have Pluto on our sides and after this I am going to ask Neptune.” I said.
“Boy you are crazy you will die.” One man said.
“I am crazy but for the right reasons, have I ever shared the real reason I am a true immortal?” I asked him as she shook his head, so I decided to make up on hell of a juicy lie.
“I killed a god in my dimension, well to be precise a couple of gods but I have killed only one Olympian. I drank his blood as it made me immortal, do you know who that god was?” I asked them.
“It was Zeus the king of the Greek gods in my dimension, I killed him driving this very blade into his chest. But I didn’t stop there as I hunted down Kronos the father of the Greek gods, I killed him the same way but during the fight we decimated his castle. After that I ate his flesh and gained a curse of the Styx but with no vulnerable point.”
“I say I am a person of great power but I am crazy in the right way, for without the immortality I would have not been able to save my family. Or my indestructible skin to traverse the pit itself to save my love.” I finished as the room had been growing dark the whole time as it lightened up.
“You are a monster.” One man said.
“Yes I am a monster of destruction, I have killed millions of things from humans to monsters like me. I have survived at all costs to one day meet my love again.” I said.
“Jessica looks like he is taken after all.” One brother kidded as he got a punch in the arm for that.
“Well I would like to pay for my room and your time.” I said as I pulled out a bag of 100 drachmas.
“How much is one night?” I asked her.
“One adaxmh.” She said which confused me.
“How much will one drachma get me?” I asked her, as she coughed a little.
“A-about a year.” She said as I nodded and tossed her the bag.
“There is your time and my room with some change keep the rest.” I said snatching the key from her finger and walking up the stairs. I heard gasps and holly hell as I walked up the stairs to my room to get a good night sleep.
LINEBREAK:
I woke up in the morning to find the smell of breakfast as I got out of my bed, and walked down stairs. Jessica gave me a plate with a smile as I loaded my plate with everything I could fit on it. I just sat down and dug in as Jessica just watched with awe as I devoured the plate with ease.
“That was good.” I said as I gave her the plate and put on my sword and backpack.
“I thank you for your time Jessica giver your father a hello for me.” I said as she nodded as I walked out the door to find the three brothers and their father.
“Are you the man who gave us all of this?” The old man asked holding up the bag of money.
“Yes I did.” I said as he nodded.
“Anything you need for the road? Food a blanket?” He asked me.
“No I am good but if these three and their sister could keep my secret about my immortally a secret I would be grateful.” I said as he nodded.
“Not a word, but I must ask you why do you give us so much?” He asked me.
“I give because they listened to my story and gave me a room for the night, I have been traveling for 10 years. Any human interaction treat with care and that happened to be you so I hope you use the money wisely.” I said a she nodded again.
“I will don’t worry, I will use it to fix up the inn and order some more farm equipment.” He said.
“Good well thank you for the time and also take care of yourself.” I said as he nodded and went inside then I began walking to the capital in the center of this continent.
It was night and I had been walking all day, but I decided to take a break from all the walking for a little and look up at the stars. The moon was full and beautiful as could be at this point, it covered the sky in a brilliant light that kept me gazing for hours. Before I knew it I had drifted off to sleep on my fence post I had used for chair.
My mind wandered about different things in my life, what road I was going down and all of that while I dreamed. But as I slept I felt something enter my bubble of senses but it was almost like a ghost as it suddenly disappeared, my ears only heard the sound of a toad nearby as my mind finally began to full go to sleep.
As my consciousness drifted into darkness and my senses faded into nothing I suddenly felt something fall on me. That woke me up as I pulled out a dagger on instinct and held it to whatever fell on me neck.
“Wow.” I heard as I opened my eyes to find a familiar face.
“Jessica why are you fallowing me?” I asked pulling back the dagger from the scared 18 year olds neck.
“Because I want to go to the capital with you.” She said standing up.
“Does your family know you followed me?” I asked her looking up to find she wore regular leather armor, not the dress I saw her wear later that day.
“No they don’t.” She said as I sighed.
“By the way do you like not stop for anything god my legs are killing me.” She said rubbing her calves as I laughed a little.
“I am amazed you managed to find me.” I said.
“Not that hard just look for the giant dude with a giant sword.” She said as she got me off topic.
“Well it is late so tomorrow I will take you back home.” I said tossing her a blanket I was using as I changed my shirt to my jacket as it instantly warmed me up to the cool night air.
“I am not going back there I am following you and that is final I have something I need to do in the capital.” She said sitting beside me and putting on the blanket.
“What good reason do you have for me not to take you home?” I asked her.
“I lied to you about my mother being dead, truth is she left the day after I was born and headed for the capital. I am going to find her and bring her back home no matter what, and if I can’t I will at least try and get an answer as to why she left.” She said with a strong tone of voice.
I just looked into her brown eyes looking for a lie but I found none as I nodded.
“Did you leave your family a note?” I asked her.
“Yes I did the only thing I took was some food for the road.” She said.
“Okay I don’t see why not, I need someone to talk to anyways it gets lonely on the road sometimes.” I said as she scooted close as it cooled down a little more, until she was using my side as something to lean on.
“Hey what is your real name, if I am going to be traveling with you for a while I want to know your name at least.” She said.
“My name is Percy, Percy Jackson.” I said as she nodded and then tried to go to sleep. I just kept watching the stars hoping for anything a simple sigh that this was a good idea. But one never came as I drifted off into the darkness hoping for a better day tomorrow.
